These people ripped me off of my money and out of job interviews. My original ONE PAGE resume got expanded into a TWO PAGER. After about 2 months with NO responses from any jobs I applied for, I contacted TopResume about a refund but they only offered me a rewrite. About a week later, they send me the exact same BUSTED resume they gave me in the first place, lol. They are just terrible and shame on them for scamming jobless people out of their money. I implore you to either do the work yourself and ask for proofreading OR do extensive research on these resume writing services. Thanks but NO THANKS.

I was very pleased with these services. I had my resume redone and a cover letter. My editor was very professional and responsive. She drafted my resume and cover letter then sent to me for review. I had a few comments and she made revisions in less than 48 hours. After she sent me the final product, I sent it to 2 prospective employers and got a call for an interview with both. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who is looking to either create a new resume or update their resume.

The same day I submitted my resume I was sent a revision, it was mainly just a rework of the layout and grammar, but they did do an exceptional job rewriting my objective/qualifications section and "bragging" for me. My cover letter was written very well, also, I have already applied for jobs and got 2 inquires. The only slight negative would be that the layouts are bland being that I am in a design field and they only give you 7 days for 2 re-writes.

I think the LinkedIn should be included as it's a copy and paste job. I basically waited for them to create one and give me the log in or ask for my log in but mostly had to take from the resume. The only real benefit was copy/paste of some of the bullet stars; however, it doesn't format correctly and took a lot of time to try and get a formatting that never really panned out. It's too early in the game to determine interview/profile view wise. I have reposted resumes and sent out some but no responses.

I also had no real expectations other than what were my own. Part of it was a series of questions that helped me answer or realize some of my own strengths. So, it's kind of like thank you for helping me help myself... sort of. I've never had to really rely or need a resume so I didn't know what I needed. All I know was my last one didn't sell me enough but unsure about this one at the moment.

I'm trying to re-enter the corporate world. I have a lot of experience as an entrepreneur, but was having a difficult time trying to translate that into a polished and interesting resume. After being matched up with a writer I as contacted very soon and she asked me for some information. After providing it to her she asked for more detail and I could tell instantly she knew what she was doing based on the leading questions she asked.
I got my first draft and was amazed at the difference! Suddenly my experience came to light and was backed by actual examples. It didn't seem passive anymore. She was still very concerned with my feedback which she did apply on the next draft. The cover letter was also well-written, to the point and versatile enough to apply to varying positions. I then opted for the LinkedIn page update and the instructions were very clear.
My only reason for not giving 5 stars was due to a slight lag after submitting my feedback and receiving the next revision. Otherwise it was a great experience and I am now proud to share my resume!

After purchasing the package the communication was immediate and very professional. If I requested some changes they sent the revised documents in less than a day.
The result was a very useful resume and cover letter with a complete update on my LinkedIn profile.
