I purchased a professional rewriting package for $349; I was told that I would get the first draft within 7-9 business days. BUT I wanted to get my first draft within 24 hours after providing them my information (old resume and the type of jobs that I was looking for). The lady who works as a representative for TopResume wrote me an email and reassured that the service would be delivered within 24 hours if I agree to pay an extra $100. I did pay for it BUT I did not receive the first draft until some 60 Hours or two days later.
So I asked for a refund, but I was told (by the same lady who had previously reassured and promised that the 1st draft would be delivered within the 24 Hours) only a $50 amount would be refunded back, because they sent me the first draft ALTHOUGH it was some 60 Hours later after the deadline.
It was very unprofessional the way they handling the business. In my opinion, if they are selling X and charging me for an X price and that I agreed to pay the X price for getting the X product, then they should never just give me anything else and charging me for whatever price. I felt totally ripped off by this place and would never recommending it to anyone.
By the way, the result of the Resume rewriting was not worth the price ($349).
These guys took a lot of money and didn't produce a decent resume. The first cut look like an amateur effort. The email that came from the writer sounded like he was from India. The second version never came. NEVER work with these guys. I don't even know how to find them for a refund.
