We were looking for good online value and found Tidebuy on Facebook. It looked great BUT... yes there is a big BUT!
First, we (my fiance Sarah and me) clicked LIKE and they promise a $20 coupon. We never received it. There were many complaints on their pages about this. Even worse, more than 50% of the posts on their wall were people complaining - one lady received a wedding dress with a HOLE in the top layer, rips on the seams which were not sewn straight and rough scissor marks. Another received a dress that should have have lots of white or clear beads on the front - the dress she received had all BLACK beads. There were many other complaints. For some reason, during November, nobody from Tidebuy seemed to monitor the posts and a most of the comments were negative. Then this week, Tidebuy began to monitor the wall again and removed ALL the negative comments so that what people now see is only the positive ones. In other words, Tidebuy do not want people to know the truth.
Tidebuy is not a factory. It is a portal where hundreds of factories sell their products. ALL the images shown there are stolen from big designers and these factories make cheap copies of them. Some are quite good but many are a disaster. So while some people are lucky and get reasonable quality, many are not. It's like a lottery. Personally, for an important event such as a wedding or a prom, I would prefer to pay a little more and be sure of what we're getting than take a chance of being one of the many hundreds of unhappy customers.
I have ordered wigs from this site. All are completely wrong colour, they take your money when you want customer service they ignore you...
I shopped U$S700 worth of dresses. This website is a complete scam. They took 40 days to ship the products because supposedly they undergo the dresses through a quality inspection. What quality inspection?. I got the dresses and they look nothing like the pictures. They are poor imitations of the real brands that sell these dresses. The finishing is poor, the seams are poor, the quality is poor.
I spend a lot of money and now i'm stuck with dresses that I won't wear because they are fake imitations of the pictures that they post on their website.
Do not trust this website. It is a waste of your money!
My daughter order a dress for her prom from Tidebuy this month for $124. She received the dress, and it was significantly different than what was pictured. The style was similar, but the details were wrong. She felt that the dress pictured was beautiful, and the one that she received was ugly.
I emailed Tidebuy. Tidebuy does not have a satisfactory return policy. I. E. If you are willing to pay the return freight to China, you can get a credit. The return freight is between $108 and $135 dollars. With the cost of the dress at $124, its a loss.
My daughter made a review on the Tidebuy website about her experience. Within 24 hours, her review was deleted. It is clear that they do not want anyone to know when they make mistakes. Censorship in action.
We will not be ordering anything from them, or this way again. I want you to know since there is a significant risk ordering from Tidebuy.
I purchased a dress for my daughter's wedding and just recieved dress, the quality is so bad that it looks like they sewed it with their foot. Cannot get an address to return item and there is not phone number except one in china, which is not toll free. Be aware do not purchase anything from Tidebuy!

The dress I received is a very cheap, bad immitation of the one they showed on their website. Not even the design matched the picture!
Their answer to my request for refund: "The dress is so beautiful! It's just the same as the pic on our website! Dear customer, we just make the dress according to all the requests in your order. So we are sorry to tell you that you can't return it for refund. If you want any other products, you can provide us a picture, and then we can make it according to your request. Or if you have any suggestions or ideas, please give us without any doubt. We will adopt it if it is appropriate, and we will give you a coupon as reward. DO NOT BUY HERE! The dresses look nothing like the designer gowns they are copying! I ordered one that had pick ups and you could see ALL of the stitching that held them up! Such low quality and you are NEVER going to get a refund from these people! Dont do it!
Do not believe Tidebuy's return policy.
The dress I received is uwearable for reasons too many to list here, including colour, workmanship, size. They will not entertain my request to return the dress (at my expense) for a full refund.
For a couple of weeks, they responded to my emails by simply restating their return policy without addressing my concerns. In retrospect, think that this was a deliberate tactic (successful as it turned out) to run down the 45 day window for lodging a dispute with PayPal.
They eventually discounted the obvious problems with the dress in the pictures I provided as being due to the lighting. They offered me a US$15.00 refund and kindly suggested that I can keep the (unwearable) dress!
I have now noticed that there are no negative reviews on their website. I posted one, along with pictures, but it never appeared. The 'reviews' are all customer questions, not customer feedback. I'm sorry that I did not notice this before I ordered.
I'm happy for those of you who have received satisfactory products from Tidebuy, but be aware that if you are dissatisfied, you seem to have a 0% chance of being fully refunded.
I strongly suggest that you do not deal with this company. Good luck to you if you choose to ignore this advice!
It has been the worst shopping experience ever! The dresses we bought were horrible and the pieces weren't complete, half the dress without beads and didn't fit my size, nothing like the pictures! MADE IN CHINA
Hey, I ordered the most expensive wedding dress from this site and i ordered it in white, it didn't come on time because china was having a national holiday that lasts a week. When the dress finally came, it was yellow, not beige not cream but straight up yellow... if fit me perfectly but the quality of dress was horrible, the beading looked like it was from the dollar store. There was a hole right on the sweetheart neckline, also some of the beading was not sown in all the way so the 1st thing i heard when i put it on was beads dropping. Before i bought the dress customer service was great but after I sent them the problems with the dress they literally didn't reply for about a month. Also when you are leaving a message for some reason the page refreshes after 30 seconds of you typing so many times my messages got erased before even sent. The only way you could return the dress is if you give them detailed pictures but it's impossible to do when every 30 seconds it refreshes. They also have a lot of copy righted pictures. They don't post their own work on there so even if you are a desperate bride like me, DON"T BUY FROM THIS SITE!
The quality of the dresses are OK. Not as glam or fine quality as seen on the website. Since all the dresses are handmade in a factory in China the seams are not straight, not precise, and makes the dresses look cheap. Customer serivce is worse than the quality of the dresses. Everytime a question is asked the answer is NO... point blank. Will never order from them again!
We ordered a dress and 2 weeks later got an e-mail that the fabric/color we ordered was no longer in stock and would not be in stock, yet the picture was still on the website. We picked a second dress and received it 2 weeks later. Although the color was pretty close to the picture, the beading was different, and we had requested straps and it did not come with straps.
However, it didn't fit. We ordered my daughter's standard size, and this was several inches too small and wouldn't zip. I e-mailed them with pictures, and they said "don't worry, we'll fix it ASAP". I never heard from them again.
I've opened a dispute with PayPal, but when I try to open a Tidebuy dispute, it tells me "you can't open a dispute for this order".
They will not respond, so I am out $120.
I would not order from them again.
Please please DO NOT believe reviews on this site about tidebuy. They are all made up. We bought dresses and a tiara on 8/08/2011 and ve not recieved anything up to now.

I'm usually not someone who likes to complain, but this time I feel like I've exhausted all options with customer service at tidebuy.com and wish to warn future customers about this website/company. I ordered a dress about a month ago. I did receive the item in the mail, however the color of the dress did not match the color from the picture on the website and the US size was much too small. I'm not sure what measurements this Chinese company uses, but it certainly isn't standard to US sizes. After emailing customer service several times for one week and putting in a dispute through the website to let them know that I just wanted a bigger size for the dress, I shipped the item back to the company requesting the exchange. They emailed me back after ten days or so and let me know that it was too late for me to complain and that nothing could be done to exchange/return the item without photos and an approval from the company to return the item. I'm thoroughly disappointed with this company and its poor customer service, as I find myself with no dress, having fully paid for the item, in addition to hefty shipping costs to return the item back to China. I would not recommend this company to anyone again. With the Chinese economy growing and Chinese businesses expanding, I expected a company like Tidebuy to abide by international standards and offer better customer service. Alas, it is still a second-rate company that still lags far behind the standards of an upstanding business.

I ordered my dress on Aug. 19,2011. I can not log back on to my account, and they will not respond to my emails. I don't know how I can cancel my order but i do know I will never use this site again. If anyone knows how i can cancel my order please contact me at *******@gmail.com please!
I ordered a dress, it was delivered, but unfortunatly there were defects. Bad quality. I complained about size as well, but they didnt wanted to listen to may compaints, saying its a normal thing.
Second: from pic I got wrong impression about dress so when I received I realised I would never ordered such dress i have known before...

Item was to ship within 15 days, they shipped after over 45 days, one side of dress alot longer than other side. Patches were glued not sewn, and not all patches were glued, many sticking straight out, patches had holes in them. Glue spots all over dress, they only wanted to credit me $40.00 for dress, I returned, cost was $40.00 now they only want to give me a $100.00 credit vrs the full price of $210.00. Now I face a posible lawsuit from client upset dress was of poor quality and not recieved until 5 days prior to her event date, I had to refund my customer and she also cancelled 10 other dress orders for her court of honor.
This is a hot hot hot mess... i ordered my dress on 5/6/2011 and today is 6/15/2011 i have not recieve my dress. I tried to contact them and each time i call they keep on telling me that they are really sorry about the delay and they will do their best to get it finish and ship out... i will never order from them anymore.
A 15 day processing time really means that 5 weeks later it still hasn't shipped and I won't have it in time for the wedding it was purchased for. STEAR CLEAR OF THEIR DEALS unless you have all year to wait for your item. They have only caused my frustration with all the different responses I have received regarding my order. One person said it was finished then 3 days later I am told they are still making the dress... Forget tidebuy... not worth the frustrations!
