Both myself and my brother-in-law purchased tickets in January through my TicketsatWork account in anticipation of a family trip to Disney World for both families, including 7 children. The trip is to begin 4/26, so we've had to cancel due to the current shutdowns, etc. After calling 3 times since the day after Disney announced its closing and giving our order numbers, we were told to await a refund and to confirm online via the Contact Us link. We were told today that we will not be receiving a refund and have not gotten any reply when asked for further explanation and reasoning. This is detrimental to our families and I am absolutely taken aback that this is how a company would respond, especially when Disney World itself is approving refunds through June. This was planned meticulously as we are from Pennsylvania and they are in Texas, and there is no way that simply extending the dates for the tickets would work, as this trip was a year in the making. I can say that I would not use this system again and cannot justify the marginal amount I saved by using on TicketsatWork for this to be their protocol in a time of crisis.

I booked a hotel room for Vegas for the first weekend of April and after 3 tries to get hold of them, I receive an e-mail saying they will not be issuing a refund. SERIOUSLY? No one would've thought the world would be facing a global crisis, the least they could do was at least give me a hotel credit to use for next time but NOPE! AN ABSOLUTE SCAM!

Scam
March 29, 2020

We purchased our hotel reservation through Ticketsatwork and paid them $1470! When FL got shut down due to the Corona Virus I called to reschedule and was told I needed to email. I emailed and was told they'll try to refund me but needed to contact the hotel directly. I contacted the hotel and they advised that they are giving refunds but that Ticketsatwork had to issue it being they were the ones we paid. I emailed again after speaking with the hotel and was told they'd respond within 5 days. The next day I received an email declining my refund or ability to reschedule. The hotel shut down its water park, theater, arcade, etc. and I am now out $1241.

Our family had $1200 of disney world tickets for early April 2020 and now Disney World is closed until further notice due to chinese virus. I called Disney - after waiting on line for 50 mins i reached someone who told me that Disney would have provided a refund but the tickets were purchased through TicketsAtWork. I than completed a Contact Us form with TicketsAtWork to request a refund. I received an email back indicating he venue - which must be "Disney World" denied the refund request? I tried to call TicketsAtWork to discuss and now there call center is shutdown and you can only fill out contact us forms. The small savings is not work it... if i had booked directly with Disney I would have been able to get a refund...

I purchased monster jam tickets a few months ago to go on March 20th and it got canceled due to the caronavirus, I called the venue and was told it was canceled. Called ticksaworks and they didn't want to refund my money because it was postpone until fall. I dont want to go in the fall especially with my son going to college. It was a fun event for my son and I. So they won't refund me my money and they told me that when I signed up for the tickets there was a refund/ nonrefund page. Where please tell me where; that's only if you cancel the tickets not when the event gets canceled or postponed. I'll be taking them to small claims for my money and more.

Although the call recordings, emails and alerts on the company's website says that any canceled events will be automatically refunded and there is no reason to call this is completely wrong. I reached out finally to get an estimate for my refund as my event was canceled just to find out that refunds will not be processed without the customer on the line so instead of starting the process 5 days ago when my event was canceled I am barely getting the process started because I was lied to. I will never again do business with a company that so easily lies to its customers.

I've been calling the customer service line for 2 days with no success. I've emailed them and I've filled out their contact form online several times. No one has called me or answer when I call. I've wait on hold for over an hour more than once. I've even entered my number a few times requesting a call back because the call column was too high and still nothing. I have tickets to Disney and it's closed due to corona virus and I need a refund or to reschedule. This is so annoying

Do not use
March 12, 2020

They do not check the hotels you stay in for anything, they just list them and you're supposed to trust their ratings and book them. Everything is nonrefundable. The hotel I booked had no correct # listed online when I tried to call the front desk and found out the hotel had been closed for years and just reopened. The elevator didn't even work. TaW didn't care. I'm reporting them to my employer because I saved no money and got terrible service all around. I deserve a refund and regret ever using their service. I would have been much better off without.

Where's the discount?
February 8, 2020

I went on their website to purchase concert tickets with the understanding that they were going to be cheaper than buying from Ticketmaster, which is who they actually get their tickets from, and the next day when Ticketmaster did go on sale my tickets were 80% more than getting them from Ticketmaster. Of course I can't get a refund and I won't be able to get my tickets until 2 days before the show to try and resell them. DONT BUY FROM TICKETS AT WORK until you check everything else first.

I purchased 10 lift tickets with 6 rentals for a family Christmas ski vacation. Within 2 hours of our first day skiing my son fell and was taken away to emergency room. Fortunately it was only a broken collar bone. That evening my wife had an accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury. Obviously it was vacation over. She was flown to a hospital in another state after her condition deteriorated and was in the neurology ICU. My family returned to their home in the Midwest once she was stable. Non of this is their fault but allow me to continue. There is no possible way we can use these before end of season so I asked if they could refund us at least what was unused. They said unfortunately they couldn't because they have a no refund contract with ski resort and they couldn't get their money back. I contacted the ski resort and they told me that they dont receive any money from tickets at work until they are actually used. So, they've kept the money and have provided no service. For additional comparison. I had to cancel our tropical 30th anniversary vacation as well. Airline, resort and even transfers all understood and refunded me. Trust me, I'm not one to abuse the system or get something for nothing. But this money would be helpful for the mounting medical bills!
Even if they can save me money, I'll never support a company that does this to anyone! Shame on you tickets at work.
I'll continue to "advertise" for you in anyway that I can. I hope it was worth it for you.

We booked Econo Lodge as advertised on their website. Upon arrival, we realize that Econo Lodge was permanently closed long ago, and a new OYO hotel was there, however, in horrible conditions that we would have never booked. We were not able to cancel or get our money back. One star is too much for TICKET AT WORK. Customer service was laughing at us on the phone and did not give us accurate information. A horrible experience that I wish to nobody.

Absolutely aweful
December 22, 2019

For context I am 18 and learned about this service through my work. I went to 6 flags for the day with a group of my friends and ordered a hotel room through these people. Nowhere on the site did it say a minimum age for checking in or reserving a room. Long story short we tried to check in around 10 or 11 at night and were told that we could not because of an age restriction which we were not aware of. The hotel could not refund because the room was purchased through a 3rd party site. We wound up having to drive 2 1/2 3 hours home, and the company has refused to give me a refund for my purchase.

On Dec. 4,2019, made hotel reservation with Ticket at Works to stay at the Clarion Suites Maingate. Paid $650.26. Read the information they sent me including the CANCELLATION POLICY - which read: Free Cancellation until 12/18/2019. $63.65 Cancellation Fee after 12/19/2019. That's it. On 12/19/2019 my sister-in-law decided that they wanted to join us in Orlando. As I logged on to Ticket at Works, I purchased the same room and same dates, I noticed the price was different - $70.00 less. I called ticket at works and I told them I wanted a price adjustment. They said NO! We don't do price adjustments. I then told them I wanted to cancel my reservation. They said fine but we will charge you $63.65. I told them the CANCELLATION POLICY allowed me to cancel since I was cancelling on 12/19/2019. They said I read it wrong. That the cancellation period was up to 12/18/2019 - 11:59pm. I then explained to the the word "after" ment to me a date after 12/19/2019 not on the same date. They told me I would have to deal with the Hotel - which was a told LIE! - The hotel Mgr. Told me - they are a third party vendor - those are there rules - we just charge them - they pay us what we ask for. They can cancel w/o and penalties. I will be consulting an attorney on there lack of disclosure - then telling the full disclosure when it suits them. Especially the word "AFTER" - what does it mean.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH TICKET AT WORKS - THEY DO NOT PROVIDE FULL DISCLOSURE UNLESS IT SUITS THEM.

As a 3rd party in order for us to cancel a room or modify it we will have to charge the penalty fee. Please keep in mind the cancellation policies do not come form us but from the hotel suppliers. As a 3rd party if we modified it for a cheaper room we would of had to charge the penalty to rebook. If you have an order number please provide it and we can investigate this matter. Thank You.

Customer Support Lies
December 10, 2019

We booked a reservation for the Venetian through Tickets At Work. They always list resort fees with their hotel reservation order summaries. This hotel didn't list any. Surprised, before we booked we called customer service to verify this. Talking to multiple people we were told with absolute certainty there would be no resort fees since the hotel is required to disclose those fees with Tickets At Work and they are required to list them. This is all laid out in their Terms of Sale. In addition, refund information is listed for any typographical errors. Since it was an error to not have this information listed and we made our reservation based on that info Tickets At Work is at fault for the surprise resort fees.

We tried talking with customer service about this both with the Venetian who understandably has resort fees as nearly all hotels in Vegas do and with Tickets At Work who refused to accept any responsibility for this. I'm sick of being lied to by this company. The sheer amount of disrespect they have for their customers is disgusting.

Scam
November 22, 2019

We bought tickets off this site, but they would not tell us what the seats were. We were probably dumb and trusted we would get a seat that was comparable to the seats that were selling on the venue's site for the same price. WRONG - we got the cheapest seats available. When we call and complained, we got a song and dance about the seller being a 3rd party and there is nothing they could do. After several more calls, nothing was done and we gave up.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! They are crooks and running a scam.

As a 3rd party a lot of the venues will give you the best seating in the section you choose on some shows. Some venues will show you the seats numbers upon purchase while some shows will give you the seat upon arrival. We apologize but the matter but each rule is carried differently by venue, show, and location. Thanks
