TicketsatWork Refund
July 9, 2020
Updated review

I posted my negative experience with TAW and how I've been contacting them for over 3 months to get a refund and have gotten NOWHERE! After posting here and on a few more sites, Richard S reached out to me directly to resolve the complaint. Richard was very apologetic, and agreed I should not have rec'd such bad customer svc or waited so long for a refund. On the phone, Richard processed my refund and sent me a confirmation via email. Afterwards a few days later he made sure to confirm I rec'd the $$! What awesome follow thru! I wish my whole experience could have been this way. Thanks Richard, I appreciate you and your 5 star svc!

Avoid Using Them
June 30, 2020
Previous review

Please don't use this site, I am so regretful that I saved so little on my Disneyworld tickets vs how much time and energy I have put in over 3 months to get my close to $3k refund! Disney closed due to Covid, I had tickets for 3rd week in March 2020, asked for a refund and was told I would get one and have been chasing it ever since! What a joke! I've called 1-2 times a month since then to be on hold for close to an hour and then today they hung up on me! SO FRUSTRATING! Not worth it at all. Disney would have refunded me by now, this is such a joke.

NEVER AGAIN!
June 10, 2020

I'll never be using this site again! I contacted them on April 11th to cancel my Vegas hotel TWO MONTHS AGO! And still havent gotten my refund! It's funny how they have the time to email but don't have the time to give me my refund? It's ridiculous! Vegas is closed down due to COVID 19, my reservation already passed and nothing yet that tells you alot about TicketsAtWork! Stay away...

You may trust them
May 31, 2020

I am pleasantly surprised with the support I got from ticketsatWork. I booked Universal Orlando promotional tickets with them in January planning to be there at the Spring break with my kids. Obviously, COVID-19 cancelled our plans. I was initially pretty sceptical on the ability to get a full refund (expecting some kind of voucher). Nevertheless I called them and requested a refund. It took maybe a month and a half (which is totally fine with me) to get my money back. Every 5/10 days I was getting updates from the company. Long waiting period was completely reasonable these days. Good job, I will use them some other time.

Bought tickets with them to Disneyland ($2,281.92) to use for Spring Break 2020, Coronavirus hit Spring 2020, emailed them on March 3rd to cancel Disneyland tickets and they said the park is not closed so they can't refund me the money. I called back on May 14th, and the park is closed indefinitely, and the lady said she will refund me the money, and more than 2 weeks later, no money was refunded. I proceed to call them on May 29, and they had no plans of issuing me the money back. Was on hold for over an hour and a half waiting to speak to the supervisor, and in the end, no resolution. They would not refund me the money back. I proceeded to open a ticket with my credit card company which refunded me the money, and they are now going to try to get the money back from these crooks that took the money and provided no useable services, since I can't use the tickets since the park is closed indefinitely. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE... THEY WILL STEAL YOIR MONEY acting as a third party, and they don't care at all about the customer!

As a 3rd party these final sale tickets come directly from the partner. As advised in the terms of sale, once the tickets are bought they are considered a final sale. The park is now opened and they are allowing guests to use their expired tickets as well due to the pandemic. We apologize if you are unable to go and hop one day that you can. If you would like us to reach out to the partner to see about a credit then please provide us an order number. Thank You.

I purchased hotel reservations right before this whole Covid-19 travel ban. I ended up having to cancel just a couple days after the purchase. I was assured that the refund would be no problem, but it has been months! Yes, they send emails every week or so, but this is a scam. They should be able to refund the money within a reasonable amount of time. Now I am being forced to pay for this trip that I obviously cannot take. Times are hard for everyone right now and I have to pay off a credit card that should have been refunded. So disappointed and wonder if I will ever get my money back. I will never EVER use them again! I do NOT recommend using this site. Other sites are cheaper anyway.

I have 4 tickets for Disneyland ($1200) that I bought in Feb 2020 for a trip scheduled for Memorial Day 2020. The park is not even open and I had to cancel my trip. Contacted customer service over email multiple times and never got a response. Sent request over the contact form and was told that no refunds will be issued. This is absolutely the worst customer service. I have written to the BBB and filed a dispute with my credit card company. Stay away from this company.

We apologize that the Disney park was closed last summer. The partner is currently extending the expiration dates on all vouchers and they are finally opened back up. Please provide us an order number and we can gladly reach out to the park for a credit if needed. As a 3rd party any refunds or credits allowed will be up the partner on these final sale vouchers. Thank You.

Not worth 1 star

The way you treat your customers matters above all else. Stay far away from tickets at work. In a global pandemic, there is a "strict no refund" policy, when in reality they pick and choose who they call back and who they refund. My sister got some money back but I clearly am not worthy of a refund so I have $786 gone to $#*!, and Richard and tickets at work are not concerned at all. I would advise to spend the extra money and go directly though the venue you wish you visit. You have been warned.

As a 3rd party we would always have to reach out to the partner to see if a refund can possibly be obtained. You were able to get a partial refund as on partner agreed to the request. The other partner denied our request for a refund but has extended the expiration dates on the vouchers due to the pandemic. As agreed in the terms of sale, the purchase on the parks vouchers are considered final. However, as a 3rd party, we still reached out hoping the partner will possibly honor our request for a refund.

Warning to anyone considering using this company. I would not recommend purchasing any travel related services from this company. They falsely represent discounts that are no better than what you can arrange on your own and the deals are nonrefundable. In addition, they offer these services through work related app making it seem more legitimate. This would typically not be problematic but given the pandemic, they are nit issuing any alternatives despite the fact that travel restrictions are in place. You cannot communicate with customer service in any fashion except via email. They basically apologize but state no refunds or accomodations are going to be given due to their arrangements with the hotels they work with. In my opinion they are stealing money we paid for a family vacation for my sons graduation and will now not be able to go.

Due to Covid-19, I had no choice but to reschedule my hotels reservations. I called the hotel want the clerk instructed me to contact the service I orginally made the reservation which was through ticketsatwork.com. I emailed the tickets at work regarding the issue and received a message from ticketsatwork representative stating the hotel was unable to change dates and that I was going to receive a full refund. Unfortunately, still no refund so I sent a secondary email asking when the refund was going to be distributed, but I was sent the same generic response sent 30 days ago. This is ridiculous Ive never had an issue with a third party site ever. What's make this site worst is you can't get anyone on the phone, they just tell you to email customer service and a generic email is always sent back. I'm going to report this site to the customer business bureau. I dont have money to just throw away.

Take you business elsewhere. The tiny discount (if any) is not worth the hassle with TicketsAtWork! They do not care about customers. Travel ban in effect? Don't care, won't refund your money. World-wide pandemic going on? Don't care, won't refund your money. Lockdown in effect? Don't care, won't refund your money. Money/economic crisis going on? Don't care, won't refund your money. At a time when other travel agencies offer refunds and customer service quite easily, you'll only get rude responses from TicketsAtWork. Take your business elsewhere and tell your employers about the sketchy business models they have!

Among COVID-19, Tickets at Work is NOT accommodating to their customers. First, good luck getting somebody on the phone. I placed four calls three of which I requested a callback and received NO callback. Then I waited an hour to get the rudest customer service representative ever. She was condescending and continuously interrupted me while telling me "well there is nothing I can do for you".

Tickets at Work are stealing customer's money while not even being able to fulfill services due to the parks being closed. Tickets at Work will not refund Disneyland tickets because they are extending the period that you can the tickets. Because everybody can get up and go to Disneyland whenever they want when Disneyland finally decides to open right? No projection on when the park will even open so that anybody can plan a vacation. Here I am out over $500 and can't even plan when I can use the tickets next! Families can't pick up and go on vacations at a moment's notice and two adult's schedules along with children's school schedules make for difficult vacation planning.

Shame on you Tickets at Work, taking advantage of people during a pandemic and refusing to refund theme park tickets. People are out of jobs and this company is unwilling to refund tickets that can't even be used. Do not purchase tickets from this company, the possible discounts aren't worth the hassle of awful customer service and stingy refund policies amongst a global pandemic.

I am a nursing student who also works full time in a critical care setting during this global pandemic. I have enough to worry and stress about. This is so disappointing. I can't use the tickets at all for the next two years at least due to working full time and being a full-time nursing student.

As with all of the reviews on here I was robbed of close to $3,000 in tickets to Disney World and Discovery Cove, purchased for the week of April 9th on the Tickets at Work website, but due to the closure because of Covid-19 we were not able to go. When I called Disney World they said they would issue a refund and that they just needed the credit card that I used to purchase the tickets, when I told them that I purchased my tickets through Tickets at Work they said to call Tickets at work and that they would have to issue the refund. When I contacted Tickets at Work they said they cannot issue a refund and that we had until the end of this year to reschedule the tickets and if we do not reschedule the tickets by the end of this year than we would lose the value and pay more! Whether they open or not we DO NOT plan to go to Disney world this year, we only had one chance to go and that was in April. What a complete waste of money! We could've used that money to pay bills! I will never use this crooked site ever again and will let everyone know what crooks Tickets at Work are! (im including a picture I took from the communication between me and a person at Disney world, via my Disney experience website showing proof they were issuing refunds)

Our trip to Orlando Universal in May 2020 was cancelled due to COVID-19. The airlines and hotel have been very easy to work with to obtain refunds for this unplanned cancellation (even though my airlines tickets were nonrefundable). HOWEVER, TicketsatWork has not been responsive at all. They responded one time stating the tickets I purchased were non-refundable. I sent several appeals via e-mail (they are no longer taking phone calls - you'll only get a recording) asking for reconsideration due to this unprecedented global pandemic, but have not heard a peep from them. I am SO disappointed - this company doesn't even have the courtesy to respond back. MY ADVICE - ORDER YOUR TICKETS DIRECTLY FROM THE VENUE, DON'T USE TICKETSATWORK!

I purchased a Busch Gardens silver annual pass intending to use it in April and due to Covid-19 wasn't able to use my ticket. I was told by Busch Gardens that I am entitled to a refund from Tickets at Work but have wasted many hours on hold and even hung up on after 4 hours. The customer service rep was very rude and unprofessional. This company should be out of business. Do not do any business or purchase any tickets from this company. They are scams.

I wouldn't bet on it.
April 13, 2020

I reserved a hotel room in downtown Mpls for Fri 3/13 so my friends and I could attend a concert, have some adult beverages, and not have to worry about driving home after the show. On 3/12 the headliner announced that due to COVID19, the rest of her tour was cancelled. I emailed the hotel and asked them to cancel my reservation which they were totally gracious about; but was told to request refund of payment from Tickets at Work (the site I used to book the room) This has been the longest most drawn out process I've ever dealt with. Below is the last response I received from their worthless customer service dept.

Regretfully, I purchased Disney tickets through TicketsatWork. When Disney closed for Covid-19, I requested a refund. It was initially denied and I was told that this was because Disney was not offering refunds. According to every Disney cast member I spoke to, they were granting refunds and if I did not receive it, this was per TicketsatWork, not the decision of Disney. I passed this info along to TicketsatWork and it was not until they "escalated my request to management" that I was promised a refund -- which I have not yet seen. When I contacted them to ask about my promised refund, I got "your concern was taken care of. Good day." Not only is there no resolution, there is so much rudeness, complete lack of empathy and decency delivered with a condescending attitude from customer service.
