Our restaurant is a huge fan of beautiful flowers and plants. So it was a no brainer to be purchasing from the Sill. They have great reviews, and are based in Brooklyn near us in Williamsburg. Our two plants we got are perfect for our entrance. We will be purchasing more in the future.
I am very satisfied with my order. There was a slight delay in shipping because of extreme cold weather and Customer Care was very accommodating when I reached out about scheduling shipping around my vacation.
I have ordered several plants from The Sill over the past 4 months and each time I have been more than satisfied with the plants I have received as well as the customer service. I look forward to ordering more plants in the future.

My previous experience with The Sill has been great. I have placed a couple orders and even when there was a minor hiccup with one order the issue was immediately resolved.
I recently ordered 2 plants, both arrived in awesome shape. The only hiccup was that one plant arrived without the planter I ordered. I reached out and an order was placed to have the missing planter shipped. I appreciate the quick response to my concern.
This was estimated to arrive February 9. It didn't get here until well after Valentine's Day as a Valentine's Day gift. I asked for a partial refund due to the delay and was told no. This was extremely expensive and I won't be ordering from this site again.
My order arrived and the plant was alive, despite the bad weather delays.

Pkg got delayed without communication when it was supposed to be a timely sympathy gift. So it could have been better communicated but oh well. It delivered late but it got there.
When my order could not be shipped due to The Sill's concern about quality, I was offered the option of a replacement, credit or refund. I chose a replacement. The replacement was promptly shipped and arrived in excellent condition despite the severe cold and snow we have been experiencing. I have placed an order for three more plants which have already been shipped. Thank you again!
My experience with the website was very smooth. I was able to browse all the available plant options, choose the size I wanted, and select the pot style as well. There were many payment methods available, and as someone who doesn't live in America and simply wanted to send a gift, that helped me a lot.
The plant took 10 days to arrive, but it arrived in very good condition, and the pot I chose was as beautiful as it appeared in the pictures on the website. Whenever I needed help, the team responded quickly.
I requested a greeting card to be sent with my plant, but it did not arrive, and I do not understand why that happened.
My rating is 4 out of 5, and I believe I will continue to order from them whenever I need to send a plant in the future.
I ordered a Thai monstera for my boyfriend as a gift, he's been wanting one for awhile. It was delivered quickly, and was secure and insulated, arriving in perfect condition despite it being 20 degrees outside. He was ecstatic when it arrived and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful and healthy it was, it has since thrived and produced even more beautiful leaves. I will be getting more plants from sill in the future without a doubt.
The 2 medium sized plants i ordered came wrapped in a heated wrap inside a box with air holes. They were so thoughtfully shipped! It's week 2 and theres no brown spots on them at all and they are already growing! I love that you can pick out your pot color too. I am definitely recommending to all my friends!
Unfortunately, the two plants I sent to a grieving family were shipped from two different locations and arrived on two different days (with a weekend between). Neither had an indication as to whom they were from, so until I asked about them, they didn't know the plants were from us. I reached out to The Sill and was told that the "message" I had composed should have been on the packing slips of the plants, so either it wasn't in the package, or it wasn't prominent enough to be noticed. It might be worth consideration to have an enclosure card or something more noticeable when sending out plants as gifts. We'll be going to the funeral this weekend, so I might be able to see the plants when we are there. The family didn't indicate whether the plants were as expected or in what kind of condition they were received.
The site was easy to navigate, pricing was competitive, and information/care tips were helpful and detailed.
During a cold snap, the original order was delivered and the plant was damaged. Customer service responded immediately and sent a new plant at no charge, timing it to coincide with better weather for delivery.
I got a Large Money Tree and a Fairy Castle Cactus. The Fairy Castle cactus is so cute and a new favorite. The Money Tree is great and I'm glad I went with the large size.
The Pot the went with the Large Money tree was shipped separately and, unfortunately, broke in the box. But customer service was able to remedy the situation quickly and shipped out a new pot. It should arrive soon.
I like the plants so much I ordered more plants, a prickly pear cactus and parlor palm. Can't wait to get them.
My plants were well packaged to ensure they survived the frigid temperatures. I was very pleased with the care and attention given to them prior to shipment to ensure customer satisfaction!

My credit cards keep having issues. Some is b/c of my doing but is some thing else causing me problems and will you please help me?
I emailed the Sill team twice and I would give them a 4-5 star at responsiveness. I'd also give the pricing and discount a 5 star.
However the UI to correct or fix things once you've placed an order is not good.
I poured my heart out in a very emotional note that I had expected to be sent as a gift to a friend with cancer and when I refreshed the app/site, my message was deleted and it wouldn't let me edit or add to it.
I contacted the support team and though they were very quick to reply, they didn't follow through what they'd say. Maybe they're relying heavily on AI or inconsistent humans. They were supposed to have added my note to my gift and Said they did.
My friend received the plant. No note. Nothing. I basically had to then text her what it was supposed to say. Which I couldn't remember so that took another 10 mins of me reaching deep into my feels to try to reproduce what I had originally wrote/thought.
We ordered six ceramic pots with plants. Unfortunately, one of the pots arrived broken, although it was well packaged to prevent damage. These things can happen during transit. I responded to the delivery email, attached a photo along with the delivery paperwork, and the replacement was shipped the next day. The response time and resolution were appreciated.
The only inconvenience was that the plants and pots were delivered on separate dates. Additionally, I would have preferred to place the order over the phone rather than online, but I understand that company protocol requires online ordering.
Overall, the issue was handled promptly and professionally.
My plant arrived very well wrapped and healthy even with the snow outside and my delivery driver leaving the box in the snow to sit. I love the planter that I got for it to go in and its adjusted to my window sill very nicely I will be ordering again
I had never ordered plants through the mail before, and I was surprised of how they were when I opened them. They were not damaged at all, and they were well packaged and very healthy.
The Sill is wonderful and the delivery was spot on, but I ordered the 3 gal. Hydrangea plant for a friend who had just lost her father. Unlike the photo, it arrived in a grow pot with only bare branches/twigs. While I'm confident it will be beautiful in the upcoming months, I wouldn't have ordered this as a sympathy gift due to the presentation. I wish there had been a disclaimer or warning that depending on the time of year, it could look different from the photos.
