Ordered snowboarding boots for my grandson before christmas. Order never received. I have tried so many times by email, online chat and calling. The online chat I keep getting timed out as I have been on hold so long. E-mail mentions nothing other than case opened. I have called and each time over an hour listening to music and hung up. I will try again this morning. Absolutely disgusted by the lack of response. I have rated one star but wanted to select none.

I have really enjoyed finding The House and shopping with them and made multiple orders now with success. I love the sales and coupons and I am a bargain shopper so I like to wait till the deal is right and I feel confident I'll find it here and will be back. The only downfall is to not pay for expedited shipping as my 2day shipping turned into 7days and paid extra for it but their regular shipping got other packages here in the same turnaround so stick with that. Overall everything about the products has been great and shipped with care!

Got a great deal on sunglasses, actually picked up three pairs. Arrived quickly, packed well. Missed a $50 gift card from them that arrived in my spam mail unfortunately, so be on the lookout for offers from them. Mine expired by the time I saw it.

Ordered our son a snowboard for Christmas, we never got it. You will have to sit on hold for 45 min before you speak to anyone when calling the company. I've done it 4 times. When we finally got ahold of someone they told us it was sold out and basically we were out of luck. 4 days before Christmas we had to spend hundreds somewhere else, it's now 5 days after Christmas and we still have not been reimbursed from the house. Frustrated is an understatement

I ordered skis and binding for my son on Black Friday. After 2 weeks, I attempted to contact The House because I hadn't heard a word. Two chats and no response. One message sent through the website, in which I got a response a few days later indicating they were understaffed (which I completely believe!). After holding on the phone for an hour, I talked to a human. Apparently, they didn't have the skis or bindings I ordered in stock. And rather than contacting me, my order just sat. An awesome employee (Tom) worked with me to get my order back on track, which would go out with overnight shipping. My order was again stalled in the warehouse. After awesome employee Tom nudged them, they got the skis out the door, but 9 days later and I'm still waiting for that "overnight" package. This is my first experience with The House. I just wish their Marketing Department would teach the rest of their company how to communicate. But what I really want are my son's skis, and a month later, I'm still waiting.
Used to be a frequent shopper at The House for 3-4 years and never an issue other than delays in shipment. But the last 2 months from The House is easily the quickest downturn in being the worse retailer for outdoor gear. Puzzling how bad they have become.
Last 2 orders have been real bad and The House does not care. Order 1 - ordered an high end bike cassette and was tossed in a box with out any packaging or wrap to protect. Slight damage. Facebook Messaged photo of the packing job, they asked for the order number and nothing. No sorry, no apologies. Order 2 - order bike crank and pedals. Package comes in and it's huge box like 3x3 and hear rattling inside. Open the box, no crank but a bike cassette in 20 pieces? WTF! I was refunded my money but The House does not care.
I have 3 more orders I'm waiting on. Have zero faith The House will ship me the right product, undamaged and on time.
Even worse I used my influence to promote this business and gave them tons of sales. Now I look bad because people that trust me are just going to be disappointed. DO NOT give you money to The House.
The House has an awesome selection of quality products. So I went Christmas shopping online and they were offering 15% off on products over a certain dollar amount. When I went to check out, the discount did NOT apply to this product. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING. Please don't lure us into your sales only to find out…surprise…not really. I'm super frustrated with The House right now and will curb my spending there until they become a trustworthy store.
I returned a jacket back to them over a month ago and still no credit back. So then I tried calling them to see what the status was of my return, NO ANSWER, I let it ring forever. Then I tried the online chat…same thing. No response. They are sure quick to take your money but don't give a hoot about anything else. I'd go find something on Amazon. Great products and fast delivery and returns.
