Many customers express frustration over unfulfilled orders, particularly for important occasions, alongside a perceived lack of communication and inadequate customer support. While a few positive experiences highlight timely deliveries and satisfactory product quality, these instances are overshadowed by a prevailing sentiment of disappointment and distrust. This was a horrible experience, they used a horrible local vendor to fulfill the order and it was delivered very disheveled and looked nothing like the photo which you pay extra to have happen. It looked like a 4 year old put it together. When I tried customer service I just keep getting the answer that due to covid substitutions are allowed. Horrible company would not recommend to anyone.
They sent my fiance flowers that were TOTALLY different than the Harvest Bubble Bowl (deluxe) pictured (has some of her favorites in it) and paid for it. I reached out to their support to notify them of the mishap and ask if they could send her the correct bouquet. They stated that within their "policy", they can send whatever they want and you're stuck with it. You're essentially buying a mystery bouquet of whatever...
DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST. THEY DID NOT DELIVER FLOWERS TO AN 80 YEAR OLD WOMAN FOR HER BIRTHDAY AND SAID THE FLOWERS WERE STOLEN. CUSTOMER SERVICE CHANGED THEIR ANSWER MULITIPLE TIMES - NOT DELIVERED, COULDN'T REACH HER, DELIVERED, MUST BE STOLEN.
DO NOT USE THEM
I ordered some bright and beautiful flowers for my mother, who is recovering after a heart attack. I went on the internet and selected a company that seemed to be "local" to Villa Rica, Ga. When my sister shared a picture of what mom received, I was appalled. I immediately emailed their customer service and got the same generic answer I have read other people received citing COVID-19. While I can understand a small deviation due to availability, I didn't expect for her flowers to not look at all like what I ordered. What is more disturbing is to find out how many people they have wronged and they are still in business. I paid $70 (plus taxes and service fee = $97 total). You be the judge as to whether the flowers my mother got are $70 worth... What i ordered was supposed to be fully of color, life with a refined taste... what she received was a sorry attempt to fulfill the order.
In my recent experience, what was pictured online and the arrangement received were very different. Beware of the "substitution policy"... would not recommend to anyone.
P.S. I have never left a negative review for ANY business, however, future customers should be warned. Take your business elsewhere.
Email to Terrys Floral: What I was promised, a Premium $95.23 Autumn Amore 8-9 stem multi color all roses bouquet, and what was delivered a $45 small 5 stem all red rose that looks like a valentine bouquet. Not even close for a Sympathy Bouquet for the bereaved. I'm so embarrassed that she received a lovers bouquet instead.
And the price difference for the local Floral shop that you used, you told them it was a $45.00 bouquet. You cheated me, I paid $95.00. I talk to the store you used the day before and I didn't go through them because he said he only had red roses in stock. I was led to believe that your store was local and would be handling this order yourselves. But you sent the order to someone who really was local. And you didn't even check with him to make sure the order could be filled correctly like did? And you gave the wrong delivery address.
I feel so cheated and I just want to cry that that dear woman got a lovers bouquet instead of the sympathy bouquet that was promised for the passing of her husband of 66 years.
You responded with a lame excuse and your policy. I spent $95.23 and what she received was not a value based substitute Anna. I was cheated and embarrassed. You are not nice people to lie and cheat this way.
No need to reply. But I will warn others by sharing the pictures and your 'policy'.
If I could give this overall rating any less stars I would. They cancelled my delivery last minute saying it wasn't available when the website said it was. They left me high and dry on my sister's 60th birthday. Calling them back I was disconnected and then had to call back being put on hold for quite a while. They didn't seem to know what they were doing. Now I have to try to get my money back.
The owners of this company are running an online SCAM. REPORTED SCAM TO BBB AND FTC. EVERY SINGLE ORDER SUBSTITUTES CHEAP OLD FLOWERS INSTEAD OF FLOWERS ORDERED AND PAID FOR. THEY BAIT AND SWITCH WITH PICTURES ON THEIR WEBSITE. THEN TELL THE LOCAL FLORIST TO FILL THE ORDER WITH FLOWERS WORTH A FRACTION OF WHAT THE CUSTOMER HAS PAID. Customers who realize what has happened then demand a refund or replacement bouquet, and are ignored.
I ordered a bouquet that looked bright and lively. I asked for no carnations as fillers, but I didn't think to say don't use a bunch of drab mums. I'll attach pictures of what I thought I was ordering and what we got. The vibrant bouquet (that turned sideways after I uploaded) with Asian lilies is what I asked for. Oh, and it was $83 for a bunch of mums and carnations.
I placed an order on 9/14/20 for the "Perfectly Purple" all purple flower bouquet. The recipient is a nursing home resident who loves the color purple. Although the bouguet specifically states it is purple, it was not. It was yellow, white, pink, etc.
The cost of this bouquet on the website was $55, however with their up-charging for delivery services, it ended up being over $70 for a small bouquet of the wrong flowers.
To try to fix this, I was on the phone for over one hour, constantly being promised, "Our managers are in a very important meeting and will call you back in (Choose one: one hour, two hours, by the end of the day)
No manager EVER called, and they kept trying to get me off of the phone by saying "our email team is the one who makes the decisions. They will get back to you. I was hung up on and not called back over 3 times.
On their website, Terry's florist is pretending to be "Your Community Florist for 20 Years" (Community=Red Bank, NJ). If I had used a community florist like I thought I did, this would NEVER EVER have happened.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are bogus! You do not get what you order! Not even close! Turn them into the Better Business Bureau... they need to be removed from the internet! Do not sit quietly and let them continue ripping people off! Oh, and free shipping is included with a 15.00 handling fee! It's BS 100 percent! This operation is a disgrace!
Shame on Terry's Florist for scamming people! I ordered a European Garden Bouquet for our daughter who lives 11 hours away and was having a bad week. The flowers arrived a day late and nothing like what I ordered. She received spray painted flowers with loads of glitter. I paid well over $70 for junk or a bouquet truly only worth $20 if that. The company responded quickly but used the excuse of COVID 19 - excuse me then don't offer products you can not supply. Don't substitute junk or cheap arrangements for high dollar arrangements. Image ordered left vs image received on the right.
These people should be ashamed of themselves. I paid $100 for these! Attached is a picture of what was sent vs. what the picture of the bouquet looks like on the website... I paid extra for the premium version so it should have been even better. They aren't even cut correctly to be equal in length! They never responded to my email complaining until I disputed the charge with my credit card directly.
As the owner of a flower shop I am constantly getting orders from Terry's flowers. Or I should say they try to give me orders. They will tell me colors they want and when I request that they tell me the picture their customers ordering from they say that they do not have one they just know the colors and I tell them after being in business for 27 years I know customers make choices.
And it's always amazing to me how they can start by trying to give me $35 for an arrangement and a balloon and delivery which I will not take and then it can go on up to 60 pretty fishy to me
I know it's hard to find on the Internet for sure but I always look for a local address in the city you're trying to send flowers to
This place is a real scam and when people call to place orders you can tell they're calling from their home because you can hear dogs barking or children playing or crying
We call these kind of places ordertakers. That's all they're doing
Please try to find a shop in the city or town you are ordering flowers for
If I could leave this company 0 stars I would I ordered flowers 1st thing this morning for a friend for her birthday early enough for her to get them the same day paid almost $20 for the theme I just called at 8:30 p.m. and they told me the order was supposedly canceled and refunded which a has not been yet they never once tried to contact me or email me letting me know that they had canceled the order so now my friend whose birthday was today didn't receive anything because this terrible company couldn't do anything and couldn't even try to contact me to fix it or tell me that they did not have the flowers or could possibly even substitute them terrible terrible business when I called their customer service gentleman was not even knowledgeable and had no customer service skills at all. I'm soooo frustrated and now AGAIN can't even get my friend flowers on her birthday because of you!
I ordered some flowers for a friend and she did not receive them. I tried 3 times to find out what happened and was told that a manager would call me back. They never did. My friend never got the flowers and I never got my money back. I recommend NEVER doing business with them.
There are so many great florists in the beautiful city of Westminister, California and I wish I had taken heed from others. Do not use Terry's Florist. The expensive floral item that I selected and the received was not remotely similar. The purple glass container w/ purple and pink floral theme was of significant sentimental importance to a hurting loved one. The company did not want to make amends even though I specified on the order "No substitutions - call customer first". I found out after-the-fact, its not a hometown florist, it's owned by a Nevada corporation that could care less…— feeling frustrated.
They are a complete scam! I orders the cherry harvest flowers and they sent me this crap! Two totally different sets and what I would say is they sent an ugly set. Said no refund And I spent over. $60 and that they substitute flowers out if not available I feel like they picked these flowers out on the street before delivery! Very dissatisfied! Save your money
**THOUGHT I WAS USING A LOCAL FLORIST**. SCAMMED! REFUSED to correct and resend flowers or discount/refund in any manner saying they RESERVE the right to SUBSTITUTE anything! So basically they will send whatever they deem appropriate.
Beware. SCAM company. They are NOT local like they pretend to me. They are a brokerage only. Ordered for a 91st birthday. Never arrived. Disappointment began. I called late that day to complaint. No answer. Okay, maybe closed for the day. They woke me up in California at 4:00 a.m. because they saw I called the night before. Now I know they are NOT local. I believe foreign company... say... China. All speak with an Asian dialect. She advised they would call me back after hearing my complaint. NO call back. When I wake up later, I call again... and again... and again... and again. I kept getting put on hold for lengthy periods of time. Blamed driver. They have NO driver. They are not here in USA. Last person I spoke with wanted me to talk to the Manager, after I was transferred to her as the Manager. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. I finally turned from the nice person I am into the $#*! from hell. I said I wanted my money back... and that I would keep calling all day if I had to to get someone's attention. Okay, she says... you're in luck. My manager just approved refunding your money. I am supposed to get it refunded today and I should see it returned within 5-10 days. 5-10 days! Okay... so now I wait 5-10 days for something that is probably not going to really get refunded... and then I'll have to start a fraud report with my credit card company. PLEASE listen. I wish I had read these reviews before I got scammed. I'd add a photo of my order, but remember... it was never delivered!
Answer: Scam - product received not as shown. Uses COVID 19 as the reason for poor quality product at a shocking price.
Answer: Legit but they only send what they want. The descriptions are lies.
Answer: Exactly, not only do they swap flowers but also the vase. A completely different product gets shipped than what they have on their website. They point to policy that they can swap whatever they feel is of equivalent value and are currently using Covid as an excuse.
Answer: It's a scam, not even based anywhere. It is a call center. I lost 107.77.
