It's amazing how they pop up towards the top of Google results depending on the keywords you used. They have over 1k reviews on BBB and even had a CBS news team cover this story showing how many people got scammed 2 years ago and THEY'RE STILL IN BUSINESS! Not only are they still in business they have excellent SEO and when I reached out to Google they didn't really offer much help, but they're looking into a solution. The only reason I purchased from them was because I thought it was a florist shop in a relative's town. Oh not to mention they obviously didn't send the flowers and triple-charged my card... They need to be sued (and they will) but instead, they continue to operate and scam people every day.
Contacted them ten days in advance and they failed to deliver the flowers to the memorial service. They first claimed they had delivered them, but then "after checking" said that they realized they had not been delivered and asked if if would be okay if they delivered them later in the day. I said no and they did issue a prompt refund. Avoid Terry's and go with the two actual local florists in Taylorville Illinois. Lesson learned, contact the funeral home for recommendations on a florist when one doesn't live in the same town...
At noon, on THE DAY they were supposed to deliver flowers I ordered for a funeral Terry's sent me this text:
"Hi! This is Natalie from Terry's Florist. This is about your order and im calling to let you know that we'd have to cancel the order and process full refund DUE to supply and shipment issues, im sorry, full payment will be refunded towards your account w/in 24hrs or 3-5 business days depending on your bank. I apologize and i hope you understand. You have a good one"
So I had to call other florists. No one can deliver that day. Terry's absolutely screwed me. What a bunch of jerks.
I called Tuesday morning (8:45am) for flowers to be delivered same day. I was assured they would be delivered. Fast forward to the next day- they were NOT delivered. They are still not out for delivery. When I called customer service I was told they weren't done due to a 'supply chain issue.' What a joke. I requested a refund of the service fee (which was $14.99!) as they did not uphold their end of the deal- the maximum they would refund is $5. Very poor customer service- I would recommend literally ANY OTHER florist. Very disappointed in the experience with this company.
I placed an order on a saturday for a monday delivery. Monday came and the flowers werent delivered. Around 5pm i got a call stating that they would not be able to deliver that day and wanted me to provide them the recipient name/address to confirm that it was correct. I told them that they were to deliver the flowers to the person/address on the order as it had already been correctly provided. They stated that the flowers would be delivered tuesday. Tuesday came and went...no flowers delivered. Wednesday I called to find out where my delivery was and was informed then that they were cancelling my order as they could not fulfull it due to "supply chain issues". Absolute garbage customer service.
The worst experience. I asked for a pet friendly plant, they recommended the dish garden. It turns out it had peace lilies which are toxic to cats. When I called back, they were not apologetic about a life threatening mistake which could killed my friend's cat.
I was extremely disappointed with the bouquet I ordered. Not only was it delivered a day late but the flowers sent were nothing like those pictured. How can a florist display all types of arrangements and not have the flowers available to put it together, not once, but twice. I ordered a bouquet only for same day delivery only to be told that they did not have those flowers available and that my order was cancelled. No problem, I ordered again only to get the same thing. DEFINITELY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
This is one bad business. I ordered flowers and they called me mid day to say they were canceling my order because they did not have the flowers they needed to make the arrangement. Instead of offering some changes, they just canceled it. This is a horrible way to do business. They left me a voicemail and basically told me to bad. Your order is canceled. It was a good thing this was not something I really needed to be delivered on the that day but it would have been nice. I would not do business with them again.
I placed an order for flowers to be delivered the following day to a sick family member. My credit card was charged. The flowers were never delivered and I received no notification from the florist. Upon calling to inquire two days later, they confirmed that the flowers were never sent and stated that they did not have the necessary flowers for the order. They offered to send the flowers the following day. These people do not seem to understand the importance of getting flowers delivered when promised, and don't understand the need to communicate if they have some problem meeting the expectation.
Ordered the Deluxe to be delivered April 28 and was not received until May 1 and was NOT what was ordered. Said they would "upgrade" at no additional charge...what's upgraded?
They take orders and cancel them at the end of the day, then make excuses About their supplier. Terrible and unprofessional.
2 days after the flowers were supposed to be delivered I received a response that due to supply constraints they could not fill the order. Terrible.
I am very disappointed in your flower arrangement that I ordered online. I attempted numerous times to call your suggested phone number during your business hours and no one answered prior to delivery.

Asked Google for a local florist. Terry's site came up as local. Shopped and placed an order 30 hours prior to the funeral we were attending. They promise same day delivery. When we arrived at the funeral, we couldn't find our flowers. We called and waited 15 minutes with no answer. Later that day, after the funeral, we call and they claim that they had been calling us, but no one answered. We'd been calling them from the same phone number we'd given them, so they lie. They said they were sorry and could they deliver that day to the spouses home. We agreed. Then a couple hours later, they call and ask if they can deliver on Monday (The service was Saturday). So we cancel the order with them. Hopefully we'll get the refund they promised. So hurtful to get scammed on such a trying event.
I purchased a little medium dish of plants. It was 9" in diameter. When I asked about the offer of 40% off, I was told that the prices online were the already reduced prices. A $16 delivery fee was also added to my bill and my cost for this item was $70.
They said it would be delivered same day. Got a call at 10:38 at night saying it was'nt delivered. I called next morning I ask to refund the charge because it was'nt delivered. I was hung up on 3 times! Yes 3 times! Don't get flowers here...
Was informed 6 hours after I got the email confirmation that they could not fulfill the order. At that point, it was too late and I was unable to contact another florist. I specifically chose an arrangement that said it was available that day. I wish I found these reviews beforehand. Seems this florist is all about false advertising and bait and switch. Stay away!

Answer: Exactly, not only do they swap flowers but also the vase. A completely different product gets shipped than what they have on their website. They point to policy that they can swap whatever they feel is of equivalent value and are currently using Covid as an excuse.
