I bought the Teleflora Membership and let them ruin several flower deliveries before I stopped using them. Hopefully you can learn from my mistake and choose another service or go directly to a local florist. After they failed on half of the flower deliveries in one way or another, they were refused to refund the membership that had never offered any service-add. Every order I placed was done at least 2 weeks in advance and they still managed to leave a negative mark on multiple holidays.
Order 1 - The surprise flowers I ordered, claimed delivery at 2pm. I was out of town but called the recipient to ask how they looked... only to ruin the surprise and be told they hadn't arrived... Still nothing at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm... and finally at 8pm they show up... when the recipient wasn't even home to receive them anymore.
Order 2 - Teleflora never placed or confirmed the order and the Florist never delivered. I was told "Sorry... you'll have to place the order again for tomorrow and maybe it'll arrive tomorrow".
Order 3 – The tracking confirmed the flowers had been "Hand Delivered" to the recipient. I called support to ask where they are since they did not arrive. After wasting an hour going back and forth... they informed me that their tracking cannot be trusted and to just wait to see if they arrive by 7pm. That's ridiculous... because if they fail to arrive... I won't even know for sure until the day is over.
Order 4 - The order was confirmed to never be placed by Teleflora and they auto-scheduled it for the next day. The florist confirmed that Teleflora sent the order late and when called Customer Support, they had zero remorse or recompense for yet another failure.
Order 5 - 2 days before Valentines Day. So, it was an important delivery. Florist claimed delivery was completed at 9am while Teleflora claimed delivery occurred at 10pm (13 hours apart)... The flowers never arrived at all. Next day, Teleflora just gave the usual "Opps, sorry, here is your money back". I requested they get flowers delivered that day... and received zero effort to make it right. So... in the end, I had to hope I could find flowers on Valentine's Day, at the last minute.
Flowers didn't look as I expected or close to the picture. I was not happy. It wasn't close except it had a purple vase.
So glad I spent $125 on this - looks nothing like what I purchased, don't ever use this company. They are a scam.
Second time using them. Twice we received confirmation emails that the flowers were delivered, but they were in fact NOT - even the day AFTER they claim delivery was made. They blame it on the local shop they contracted with, but they will not release the name. So basically no one is accountable. They refunded but absolutely awful when you're ordering a gift and can't rely on honest accurate service and information.
I sent a boquet to a young woman having surgery. On the plus side, it arrived the desired day. On the very embarassing side, the boquet looked like absolute crap. It looked nothing like the photo, was sparse and I paid $108.00 for it. I am very embarassed to have sent this horrible boquet and will NEVER use Teleflora again. I got a $25 future coupon (which I will never use) and insisted on a $25.00 refund which isn't nearly enough. Do NOT use Teleflora.
We ordered a very specific Teleflora funeral arrangement for a very important person. What arrived looked nothing like the photo or description: a different design, different flowers, a different color palette, and an overall cheap, hastily assembled look. For a final tribute, this was unacceptable and devastating. I understand minor substitutions, but this went far beyond any "equivalent substitution." It felt like a bait-and-switch. We paid for a specific arrangement and did not receive it. A refund can't undo the damage here—the moment is gone, and the harm is beyond refund.
Afterwards, we looked into public reviews and found many customers describing similar experiences. The first pages of glowing reviews read like paid or heavily solicited posts, in stark contrast to the lower-star feedback we saw when digging deeper. Based on our experience, this feels like a scammy practice—at minimum, misleading. We won't be ordering from Teleflora again and cannot recommend them to others.
Horrible place don't ever buy anything from them. They completely ripped me off. Try to say I didn't pay them then try to say they're gonna deliver my flowers day late then told me they didn't have a florist. They don't know what they're doing or what's going on And finally they said they're gonna give me a refund in a coupon coupon for 50% off. I don't believe any of it I just want my flowers to be delivered to my mother for Mother's Day like I asked for I ordered this a week ahead of time so it's not like I waited till the last minute they're horrible place and do not use them.
My wife was unable to attend her grandfather's funeral due to illness and desperately wanted to send something to show that she was there in spirit. Since their daily delivery deadline was after visitation would be over, she scheduled delivery for the day before. They took it upon themselves to reschedule for the day of the service because "the shop wants to deliver fresh flowers," insisting it would be there before visitation started. Then the start of visitation came and went, and they canceled the order because they were unable to deliver it on time. She was disconnected (or hung up on?) twice while trying to sort this out with them. I can't begin to describe how upsetting this was for her at an already difficult time.
I have ordered flowers three times from Teleflora in the past six months and have been totally pleased start to finish. The flower arrangements were beautiful and the recipients were blown away with them. The website is very easy to navigate. Choose with confidence from Teleflora.
A family members 50th wedding anniversary and ordered a special heart shaped bouquet- not only did they receive the flowers a day late, it was not heart shaped- wrong bouquet delivered! See photos below- I ordered the heart shaped bouquet and the other picture is what they received (late)
I would give zero stars if I could. I have spent more than 4 hours on the phone with them over the last week trying to get a resolution to an order that was never delivered. They promised 4 times to redeliver (which I had to fight for) and each time it didn't happen with no communication - they would just cancel the order. When I would follow up they said their local florists "couldn't fulfill the order" even after I agreed to let it be "florist's choice." You're telling me no florist has a plant they can send over the course of a week? The customer service is ABYSMAL even at the management levels - they just don't care and want to rush you off the phone. I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THEM.
I ordered gorgeous unique arrangement for $80 for my daughter's Birthday...but Teleflora delivered trashy looking something... hard even call it arrangement.
I ordered the pink flowers. They sent to purple ones. Obviously not worth my $65. Will not use teleflora again. They get1 star for finding the hospital
We had placed an order from Teleflora for funeral services and were guaranteed delivery. However, I was shocked when I got to the funeral home and realized no flowers had arrived. I quickly called Teleflora and the representative told me no local florist could fulfill my order. I was devastated and fuming at this point. Teleflora never contacted me to tell me the order was not going to be delivered and left us powerless on such a sensitive day. Please dont order from these terrible people that dont know how to professionally run a business, especially when it involves sensitive occasions such as funeral services.
If I could I would give this company 0 stars. I ordered flowers on a Tuesday to be delivered on Friday. I got a call Friday at 4pm that my local florist can't deliver them. (They knew damn well before 4pm they wouldn't make the delivery day) so they give me a credit and I agree to have them delivered Monday. They just called me (Monday morning) saying the florist wants to deliver them Tuesday instead. At this point the event they were to be for was on Friday, I placed the order well enough in advance that this is unacceptable. Absolutely not. And they will not give me the florists name that they used in my area. Which I find BS because now they are getting this negative review from me. That's on them. I absolutely would NEVER spend my money at Teleflora ever again. What a waste of my time and money.
Today is june 10 2024. Delivery is for today june 10th 2024. My girlfriend got horrible roses that cost total of $175. There black and cotton on the outside of the roses. Florists at teleflora. Ordered them from fingerhut account to teleflora Delivery flowers. Horrible horrible horrible horrible Florists at teleflora. And yes I have proof of purchase on my fingerhut account,,,
My order was canceled on Mother's Day!
I used Teleflora to order a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my mom for Mother's Day. I placed the order in April, 3 1/2 weeks before the day that it needed to be delivered. I'm currently living overseas and this order was very important to me since I couldn't be home. I first received an email saying that the flowers could not be delivered on the original date that I had requested. So I called the 1-800 customer service number to see what the issue was. They could not give me a clear answer. I then requested that the flowers deliver on May 12th, Mother's Day. The customer service representative said no problem. I then woke up to an email that said that they just canceled my order! What?! Why?! No reason given, no flowers for my mom on Mother's Day. I will NEVER use Teleflora again.
I live in Texas & ordered online flowers for my sister's funeral in Miami, FL from Teleflora. I ordered Premium because it displayed the most flowers. Must to my disappointment when I actually saw what they sent they should have been embarrassed because it was no where near what was advertised. Very few flowers the vase wasn't even full. Shameful display especially since this was for a funeral. I expressed my disappointment & received a response with no acknowledgement for charging for a standard arrangement. I will never use Teleflora again & warn everyone to be aware of their false advertising
AVOID AT ALL COST! There are 1409 reviews, 85% are one star. We ordered a floral from their website the day prior and paid $81 to have the flowers delivered the next day. We found out the flowers are being delivered from the same town we wanted them delivered to. It is now 5 PM and the flowers were not delivered. They said delivery is from 11AM to 7PM. This is bogus and wrong. Worst place to buy flowers from. When we called to express our disgust all we got was we can refund you. They should put on their webpage, We don't just sell flowers, we can refund as well as we don't deliver on time.
Horrible experience. Ordered flowers for my mother's birthday. Selected teleflora because they said they could deliver it on the same day. Paid for order and included tip. Later that day I get the following voicemail:
(direct excerpt from voicemail to text) "... unfortunately the shop messages and they said that they need an alternate delivery date to deliver the order since there is an eclipse occurring so the soonest date they can deliver is tomorrow..."
I was flabbergasted. What does an eclipse have to do with delivering flowers? I called customer support and after 11 minutes on the phone with the rep who kept repeating "will you accept the delivery for tomorrow?" They finally agreed to comp the order and deliver it on the day originally promised. It became clear he lied to me to get off of the call, as my mother informed me that not only did she not get the flowers on her birthday, she still has not received them a day later. Unbelievable and unethical. Will never order from them again.
Answer: Since December I have been trying to use my floral Groupon I purchased. 3 different transactions have happened since then to try and use the Groupon and their company NEVER delivered any of the flowers. 3 different birthdays I missed and they even transferred me to a supervisor who then charged my account $90 when the order was only $25 after using my $40 Groupon... And after the $90 charge, STILL no flower delivery. I had to get my money back from Groupon because I am never using this company again. I think 3 different times for 3 different occasions is a good enough try to fix the issue I had. I've had hours of phone conversations with this company and it still hasn't ben fixed. Now they charged my account again WITH an uncharge and no delivery. BUYER BEWARE! This company is garbage
Answer: My experience with customer service was very good. They understood my complaint about the horrible mess the florist had sent. They offered me a new arrangement to be delivered or a partial refund. I am accepting a partial refund. My complaint about telefloral is the Florist they used. A totally incompetent floral business and should never be used again.
Answer: I was giving a Groupon and decided to give Teleflora a chance, I've heard of the name before so I THOUGHT it was a reliable company. WRONG on so many levels, the worse experience I've had with their customer service representatives.
