Bought a Bose headphone on Black Friday and it was only delivered in a week. If you need next day delivery, it costs extra 39.99 but for that price you would better buy from Amazon.
I ordered a xiaomi redmi 6 with a registration on the website. I never received a confirmation of the registration nor did I receive a proper for my cancellation request within the first 5 days. This process has not come to a conclusion, yet.
Fitbit Versa fault with waterproof seal breaking within 2 months of using along with multiple syncing issues. Contacted TITB customer service asking for a lesser product as a swap and they could keep the monetary difference (approx. £30) instead of a refund so they weren't out of pocket from known problems with the product.
CS said no and a repair would take 4-6 weeks. A broken waterproof seal can not be repaired. Refund also refused, I emailed again mentioning breach of Consumer Rights and have had no reply (and reading these reviews, I don't expect one).
Their Terms & Conditions are not in line with Consumer Rights Act 2015. I am preparing a case for reporting to Citizens Advice UK and would urge others to do the same.
Bought and Iphone X 256 mb from Techinthebasket. Very competative prices, but communications and delivery very slow. With regards to repairs under warranty the service is shocking, quoting 6-8 weeks for repairs. Gave up and went to an Apple service centre in Cambridge who were excellent. Buyer beware!

I ordered a Galaxy S8+ dual sim around around January 2018 for 505 pounds, it came with DPD tracking and item arrived within a week. It was all original in boxed packaging. I ordered one at first by accident and got them to cancel the order so they did reply and cancel the order for me but for other general enquiries they are slow to get back or don't respond at all. People who have had bad experiences I would say ordered the latest phones like S9 and items did not arrive I think because it's the latest device, it prob got stolen in the post because it is a sort after device. I would not hesitate to order from them again but not when a new device comes out, I would wait til the item gets a bit cheaper. I ordered S8+ for 505 now it is 365 after 6 months. I recommended everyone to tech in the basket after I ordered my phone, I would always pay with Paypal pay after delivery though the negative feed back I would still not be put off to order from them again. Scam company.
They advertise products at low prices that they cannot supply. Their communication is appalling, they provide false tracking details claiming an item has been shipped. Check the tracking number with either TechInTheBasket tracking page (does not exist) or the delivery company (cannot confirm the status...) after a week.
Basically a scam company, ripping people off fraudulently claiming items have shipped.
Now, take a look at the positive reviews here, no-one writes reviews like that, these are written by journalism graduates that can't get a job so get paid for fake reviews!
I've ordered a samsung s9+ about 10 days ago, at first i was nervous as well but thought i would give it a try looking at all the reviews. Everything was fine, i got the tracking number and the DPD said it would deliver my item on the 21st may, but no parcel arrived. I called the DPD and the tech in the basket guys only to hear that my parcel was lost somewhere (so i wonder, how could they inform me that it would be delivered to me) when i told them i got an update stating my delivery date they said it is automated (how can you automate something like this without the product) they said they will track the product and get back to me within 24 hours. But its 48 hours now and no update whatsoever. I've paid it through paypal and raised a claim since they are not responding. The case is still under review.
Ordered Samsung Galaxy S9 plus. Received an empty phone box a week later! They then stopped responding to our emails. Managed to get a phone number from the courier for them. When called, it gets re-directed and then disconnected.The phone number has a Manchester prefix.The given address is a Postbox in Manchester, not a genuine company base. The email address changed domain from. Com to. Deu(Germany). The company is however, based in Hong Kong.
Reported to Police and filed ActionFraud report. I don't for one second believe the 5 star feedbacks given for this company.It is probably added by them to pull in the gullible punters. All the hallmarks of a scam. Avoid at all cost and save yourselves a lot of grief. I am shocked that Paypal is processing payments for a bunch of frauds. Very stressful times for me as the phone was supposed to be a treat I had worked extra shifts for.
Note 8 256 GB for £200 cheaper than a 64 GB in the UK. Delivered as promised. Was wary after reading some of the reviews, but all good for me.
Was hesitant to use this company seeing the negative reviews but the saving of around 250 pounds on the Samsung S8 dual sim tempted me. So glad I did.
Communication were perfect, fully updated with several emails. Phone arrived in the one hour time slot quoted exactly 3 days after ordering and that was with standard free delivery option. Phone was brand new in a Samsung factory sealed box with additional sellers seals attached. A UK adapter was also sent by the seller but there was no need as when I opened the box the official Samsung adapter inside was the UK plug type. On starting the phone UK English was automatically highlighted in the selection window so set up was perfectly straight forward. Cant fault the phone or the seller so far. Everything has been perfect.
Only down side is that I believe you lose the Samsung 2 year warranty as the phone is an international model but for the saving of a third off the price I am willing to accept that. Hopefully nothing will go wrong with the phone but if it does the seller has their own warranty covering it. If they are as good and efficient with after sales service then they are perfect.
I will recommend the seller to others.
Have received a phone with a bug, and after sending the phone back to be repaired, i am still waiting for them to fix the problem, and still having endless email conversations with them to explain them how importance is for me to get a phone asap. This doesn not seem to reach them, and their customer service is deplorable. It is incredibly frustrating and unbelievable that i have payed to have a normally functioning phone, and 3 weeks after they still can't fix the problem. And again, their customer service is unacceptable. No empathy, care for understanding their customers, and basic understanding of the fact that they need to fix the issues of their customer in a timely manner.
I can only advise other customer to avoid this company with such a high level of unprofessionalism and just bad service.
Got my delivery and when I was opening the new phone packaging I couldn't put in my sim because the sim insertion tool was missing and when I did manage to open sim compartment I found a sim in it. This made me feel sick that I was conned, YES I was sent a used iphone. I must say they did reply to my emails back and forth a lot of time wasting, apologising, but they finally refunded my return post.
Goods on the site are cheap but they DO NOT honour the warrranties for the products they sell. Ordered 6 CAT phones, 2 have stopped working. The handsets come as standard with a 24 month warranty despite this they tried repairing them themselves, failed and then offered £200 as compensation for a £400 handset. Have had to take the case to VISA to to be resolved as the customer service is none existent.
Ordered a galaxy note 8 from than last month. The item was clearly refurbished and missing the s pen. The phone number doesn't work and when they bother to answer to emails they ignor the issues. They offered me a pitiful refund that didn't come close to the cost of the replacement pen and then rather insultingly made an even lower offer! They have said they will send a new pen but weeks later I have still had nothing and they have ignored all of my recent emails.
I spent over £1000 on a lens from this company. 10 month later it developed a fault. I filled in their warranty form and they bounced it back asking for an order number. WHAT ORDER NO? They now say they are not E bay and I should contact my customer service! Any excuses, one after the other, now not replying to any emails.
I sent the lens to Panasonic under the UK and European warranty and they refuse it because the company is not a recognised seller.
I feel that they have simply stolen over £1000 from me. I don't know what comes next but I will pursue them through the law if necessary as they are a UK registered company, Digital Lab Services Ltd. registered in Salford.

Real personal experience: I bought a Huawei P10 Plus 128G Gold dazzling from TECHINBASKET (PRO) (http://www.priceminister.com//TECHINBA) and it is of bad quality... After using normally for less than one month, it broke down, showing blurry screen with many horizontal stripes... The seller TECHINBASKET (PRO) is highly irresponsible and unreliable... Even though they offer 1 year guarantee, they rejected a direct replacement or refund at first. After I wrote several complain letters, they cheated me that they would replace it. After I sent them the defective phone, they broke their promise and still sent it for repair... I cannot believe there is such untrustworthy seller in this world... Now I have spent 510 EURO and without a functional mobile phone for more than 3 months... and until now TECHINBASKET never offered me a satisfying solution... They even block customers from posting on their Facebook. BE VERY CAREFUL if you want to buy from them! I purchased a phone from TITB, it never got delivered, a fact supported by the courier company.
TITB refuse to refund my money, and just enter into an email tennis match.
It appears to be everyone's fault but theirs, and refuse to resolve the issue.

I have ordered a phone and they wrote me that once my order is proceeded, it will take 5 working days to be delivered. TOPS. But what really happened: I made my order on 11.01, and on 19.01 my tracking number was still not active! I wrote them to ask why is it taking so long to get my phone and they answered that it is being prepared! It took them 4 more days to deliver it. I am not satisfied with their service at all! If I haven't reminded them that I am waiting probably I would never get my phone! A Feedback section is not available ot their site as well. Coincidence?! I'm really disappointed, because for this amount of money, I expect to get my things in time.
Ordered on line on Boxing Day - paid via PayPal just to be on the safe side. Site stated delivery would be between 3rd and 8th Jan. Arrived by DPD (my favourite couriers) on 3rd Jan. All sealed in proper packaging but did come wit a 2 pin plug but no worries as I have plenty of Apple plugs anyway. Restored backup from old iPhone 6 and have just checked on my Apple Support account and the new phone is sitting there under registered devices. Very happy, thanks TechInTheBasket!
Answer: The same happened to me. I think they ship in from China and until they receive it in the UK, the tracking is on hold. I suggest you give it a little time (they do say 6-8 working days on their website)
