Bought my GoPro Hero 5 black back in 2017. Was dubious of the firm so called them to find out how it works. They import 'grey' goods, so they're intended for an overseas' market. They're legit items but with no UK manufacturer warranty. My GoPro has worked brilliantly for the past 3 years, would defo recommend the firm, who said they give their own 3-month warranty.

Dubiose Firma
Finger weg!
I've bought £240 phone from them in the end of August 2019. 6 months later I started wearing my glasses and realized the photos made on close distance had diagonal pixel line across. I contacted Techinthebasket and for the following three months I kept corresponding with them on a daily basis. Their website says "they provide the after-sales service for at least 12 months and up to 6 years. They issue the prepaid postage label to send for the repairs. They will replace or refund the item if the item you purchased is not repairable." It's all lies. In spite of I requested the prepaid label, they told me they experienced some technical issue and couldn't do it. I paid the postage to send the phone for the repairs. After one month of daily correspondence they issued £4.50 refund towards the transaction of the purchase which means as if I paid not £240 for my phone, but £235.50. They kept my phone for 5 weeks and returned it with the same fault without acknowledging it. I requested to provide the problem identified by them during the repairs, if any. No reply. They ignored all questions with regards to their contacts, company registration, contact for the finance department, etc. They sent me the fake invoice, which had only a picture of their company's logo. After 11 months they said they won't repair it anymore due to the warranty is expired, so I had to remind them, that the warranty is still valid. All in all, before the 6 months period is over, you are still OKeish with them, due to Paypal. But after that good luck to you. I wasted my time with them instead of filing the claim with Paypal. Beware.
Bought a iphone 11 (128gb £643) in red, had it a month and it wouldn't connect to my sim. Tried a brand new sim as well as the sim from my wife's phone still wouldn't connect. Took to apple who said they could fix it (2days) BUT it was a Chinese iphone that could only be fixed in Chinese regions. Emailed titb who said it had to be sent to them 4 MONTHS OF EMAILS, YES 4 MONTHS of being fobed off I was finally offered 50% of the money back, bag of youve been warned!
Ordered phone on Sunday got it on Thursday. Well packed and sealed. This is the 6th phone I have bought and I have never had a problem with any the phones or delivery. All phones brand new and sealed. So I can only talk about my experience and would recommend them. I had a problem getting access to a network with a xiaomi phone and contacted techinthebasket, they replied with instructions on how to solve the problem and after a week they contacted me to see if it was resolved. Have used them for a few years with no problems

I WOULD NOT ADVISE USING THIS COMPANY!
Had I read these poor reviews before placing my order, I wouldn't have used them. Everything I've read has come true.
I placed an order the same way I would with any other online company. They send you a receipt email at the time of ordering and then a processing email including a tracking number a day or 2 later.
The tracking number is fake. Although they say it will take a few days for it to become active. It doesn't. At no point has this number worked.
A month and a week later and no item or refund.
Currently they claim the courier (Royal Mail) has collected and they are unable to contact the courier to arrange a return. Madness.
Two weeks ago they agreed to refund me in 1-3 days. The refund never arrives.
I'm taking legal action to recover my refund and fees.
All I wanted was a pair of headphones for my exercise. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! ITS NOT WORTH THE STRESS AND ENERGY
I dread my IPad going down after reading all these reviews! What has broken is the lightening lead and I've had to purchase another one as they NEVER respond to my emails!
I don't know which is worse, getting a stupid response or none at all!
Hi there
Can you please confirm where u yuh our company is based? I have been told you are a Chinese company. If so do you have a U. K. office or shop?
Thanks
Rob
Can I just say that I am so sorry to be the panicking customer that I have been since placing my order from you guys! Yes I read the frightening reviews on the internet, but the communication from TITB has been exceptional, even though sometimes it appears a robot may be writing the email reply. Today I received my order 4 days after placing it (initial estimate was 6-8 working days). I would deffo order from you again! Again apologies for the emails I sent you. LOVING my Samsung Galaxy Watch
Shocking experience
Not UK company as they claim. Dodgy international company based in Far East. No uk stock or products. All of the trust pilot reviews are made with bots do not be sucked in by cheap price.
You will pay up, and then never receive the item, In its place you will receive an international adapter plug so they can claim they have shipped and have tracking information.
So far this adapter plug has cost me over £400 and im having to make several calls with paypal to resolve which it is still not!

Ordered a Note 10 Plus for £749 as it was £250 cheaper than anywhere else. Never arrived and their customer service is non existent! My hard earned money has probably paid for some new Nike prison white trainers for a family of Chavs! Stay away!
I placed an order for Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus G9750 8GB Ram 128GB Rom Dual Sim - Prism Silver on 30th of July. The product came on 12th of August even though in their website it said 6-8 days delivery time. The product came in a sealed box and inside the phone was covered with film protectors on both sides (the Galaxy S10+ comes with a pre-installed screen protector). So I thought the product was brand new and was reluctant to the fact that there was a scratch on the right side edge of the front panel. I thought it was just a scratch on the screen protector but later I found out that the scratch was actually underneath the screen protector and they cleverly hid it with a new screen protector on top. It means the phone was used before and accidentaly got scratched and they sent me the faulty device to begin with. So I contacted their customer service sending them photos and videos of the scratch and they completely ignored the fact that they actually shipped a faulty product to me and said that the scratch was made by me. How can I scratch the screen underneath a screen protector? The phone itself came with a screen protector and the screen protector has no such scratches. They asked me to get it repaired by myself and offered no other assistance. This is completely unacceptable. To everyone looking forward to buying a product from techinthebasket be aware that even though you are getting a cheaper price, I bet your product will come with some sort of fault, either major or minor. If you are lucky then it would be unnoticeable. Sadly in my case I did not get so lucky as the scratch on the screen is fairly visible and the only way to resolve it into get the screen replaced which costs £239, roughly half of the price I had paid for the phone. Choose an authorized dealer instead of techinthebasket when purchasing your product and don't make the same mistake that I have made.
Stay away.
Terrible company to deal with. They do not have a phone number you can ring them and they do not reply to any emails.
I bought an item and it has been shipped 5 working days after by purchase even though I've cancelled my order through paypal.
They say Item is shipped from UK but what they do is to buy it from China, wait until arrives in UK then ship it from Manchester to UK customer.
You might pay a little more from a trustworthy source but its worth the piece of mind. Thankfully I've placed my order through Paypal and Amex so I have no doubt I'll get my money back.
I bought a pair of Bose QuietComfort headphones from this outfit as they are a lot cheaper than all the other outlets. I was apprehensive due to the mixed reviews, but I thought that by using PayPal and a credit card what do I have to lose?
It didn't take long to get a shipping confirmation from them, but when putting the tracking information into the Royal Mail site over a few days, nothing came up. After about five days the tracking showed that the item had been received in their Manchester depot and the next day it arrived. Despite them claiming to ship from the UK, I suspect that they order from China and then send out. To be fair they say 6-8 working days on their website, so don't expect instant delivery.
The item itself was genuine and in a sealed box, so overall I'm a happy customer...
Originally, what a dilemma. Such a good price 40% off. Too good to be true. Negative reviews were of concern. What to do? I went with my gut feeling, there were more positive reviews, and the phone model was not the most recent so discounts could be expected. I ordered the Samsung phone. I received an email thanking me for my order. A delivery date of 6-8 days was given. Within 24 hours a further email informed me of it's dispatch. Day 8 the phone arrived. Well packaged, box sealed. All information on packaging, on and in box was in English. Easy to set up even though this Granddad was transferring information from a Windows to an Android. Delighted with new phone, especially the cameras. From my experience I would recommend TechInTheBasket. Many thanks.
Great price, reasonable delivery time...
Phone worked great for 34 days but stopped charging one evening so i took the mobile to Apple for diagnostic where I found out they're unable to do the repair as the mobile phone is a Chinese version and all Western Apple shops are unable to repair as there are different components used.
Contacted Techinthebasket who have said the phone is out of their return policy time even though there is a 12 month warranty period but at least they have offered to cover some of the repair fee on a managers approval if I feel the 5 week repair procedure is unacceptable.
Well I've read all the horror stories and thought $#*! it "he who dares wins rodney."
I ordered a galaxy active watch £146 when the going price £229.
It came within 5 days brand new in sealed box.
The tracking number is sent a few days early so it doesn't work when you first receive it.
Any queries or takes 24hrs plus to receive reply but the do reply in the end.
Ok no UK warranty but how many people fill the warranty card out anyway.
Could not fault
I keep asking for a refund or replacement. Instead their "support" emails me once a day with a suggestion to change in the settings which I had already tried eg clear cache or hard reset the phone (email ping pong for 3 days now and counting). My personal favourite was the following response from them:
"we have done some research, we found that its [sic] OK Google causing the problem" (I never activated OK Google and the Google Audio and Voice settings are set to OFF (Paused)).
My first purchase from them and what a nightmare. Luckily we have a thing called the Consumer Rights Act so they will eventually have to solve the issue but "thanks" for making the process so lengthy and difficult! I will stick to Amazon from now on.
Answer: The same happened to me. I think they ship in from China and until they receive it in the UK, the tracking is on hold. I suggest you give it a little time (they do say 6-8 working days on their website)
