Previously my father has bought a Hyundai Entourage engine for $1395 that was being shipped to FL that supposedly had 70k miles

The engine was supposedly steam cleaned but upon arrival the engine itself was dirty and rusty all over the engine including the studs itself.

We only inspected the engine on the lift gate, we didn't take the engine out of the lift gate. If the engine came out of the lift gate we will be forced to take this garbage engine they sent. We told the truck driver to take this junk engine back and we requested a full refund.

Upon getting our full refund we called and was told to wait and then they hung up on us a few times. Even when calling back they never picked up which then we had to call our bank to get our refund back and wait MONTHS just to get only $500 back while swengines kept $895

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL

I bought a engine in March 2020 and never received it. Also I have not been refunded my money yet.
John the person that you are suppose to talk to for your refund does not return calls. The engine I ordered was shipped to 3 different places. Finally by late May early June it was shipped to me but I had already purchased a different motor from a different place.
The bottom line here is I were you I would never order anything from SWEngines. I'll end up suing them in court.
I'm sad I have to give them 1 star. It should be minus stars.

I would NOT recommend this company as they are a huge scam. We ordered a transmission on June 5th; they say it takes 7-14 business days which is a lie. We called on the 15th business day and they said oh sorry we shipped it to the wrong place it should be there next week. They told me they would email me the tracking number as soon as they got it. Well after the 20th business day I called Brian the shipping manager back and he said again "I am literally working on it right now" he then stated that I would have a tracking number by the end of the day, and again I didn't receive it. I continued to call on the 25th business day, and again on the 30th business day again him saying the EXACT same thing he told me each time. I call on the 32nd business day and canceled the order he then said even though it is in transit. I didn't know since I NEVER received a tracking number, but yes, I canceled it as we had already bought another one. He said the order would be canceled and I would receive an email. Well, I did receive an email with the tracking number stating it would be delivered the next day. So, I called shipping and tracking again to see if it was canceled and nope, he didn't cancel it, so I had to have the customer service lady put in the cancelation. Then told her that they needed to contact the shipping company to stop the delivery as it would not be accepted. That didn't get done either as they did try to deliver it, without success as it was refused. As it sits today, we are still waiting on a refund. So, do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

On March 4 I purchased a motor from this company they offer. A ******* miles motor or 5 0 k miles warranty when I received on March 12 a big different story the motor look that they have it in a corner on a junk yard they send to me look all rustic upside down with all wiring and connection all bad my motor in my car with ******* miles look in better condition that the one they send it they charge me 1395 plus 75 residential fee for a total of 1470 after 4 months they only refund me 556.25 because they said that I agreed with their terms when in their "terms" said that they can charge a 25% restock fee. They keep 913.75 from me a good sale for them but look okay you can keep it but the only thing I will told You is that is a GOD upstairs that is looking down when your company do bad just think on all the ripoff that you do to all the people. If you should charge me the 25% okay I will understand but you know that you took more almost 70% you didn't know all the sacrifice that I has to do to get that money from family friends because when my car broke down I didn't have the money to purchased that motor I'm disable person I depend from my transportation to go to my doctor appt, pharmacy but you think with 500.00 that yousend me I can get anywhere but that's life thank you very much for all that pain that you Cause me and my family now I don't have motor no car thank you, keep making money like that. Purchased an engine, 2.2ltr. For Chevy HHR. First engine shipped to wrong address 500 miles away. When I finally got it I started to change the oil and found water in the oil. Engine no good. Called up and they said second engine to be sent. Second engine has terrible compression, #1 110,#2 75,#3 30,#4 105. This could never be considered tested and serviceable. Didn't realize engine had to be installed by ASE shop. Now Ihave to pay an ASE shop to diagnose. Called warrenty they hung up.

Everything on motor has failed. Trying to get help from customer service sucks you will be hung up on by a guy named Scott. He told me he was the supervisor incharge off all department and that my QUESTIONS about my purchase were BS then he hung up on me. 1200 purchase will get you disrespected by this company if you have an issue with the warranty or to verify the serial # or what heating tabs are that only they put on he sais.

We purchased an engine from SWEngines in 2018 in which it was driven under 800 before the engine blew. It took them months to warranty the engine, in which they sent it to the wrong state and refused to pay for the shipping to correct the mis-ship and refused to pay for it to be installed at standard pricing. After finally, at our cost, getting the warranty engine finally installed, it also blew less than 3 months later. SWEngines refused to warranty the second engine claiming "only one warranty replacement per order"... DO NOT purchase from them. We are in the middle of lawsuit and if you do your research, so are many others. Anytime we tried to contact them, their agents would curse, scream, and hang up on us constantly. BUYER BEWARE!

My boyfriend just purchased engine thru them. Took longer than they said it would. Evey call made they were always saying it's on the dock. Got it installed 3 days later timing belt broke. Guess what they say warranty will not cover it. Very rude on the phone.my advise look somewhere else. Wish I had found this site before ordering
Their rating is god awful. Beware of this company. Read the fine print. This company is rude and awful to deal with.

I was offered an engine that was suppose to be completely checked out low mileage and steam cleaned. What I got was a dirty, mistreated, weathered, engine. On the scale of one to ten I would give it a two. Worst customer service ever. BEWARE!

Did not replace my engine after I bought them extended warranty after they gave me a bad engine four months later after receiving a 2006 Ford Mustang engine purchasing a extended warranty on top of the regular warranty they would not replace the engine they did not give me a good excuse and hung up in my face for no reason they also lied about the mouse that was on the engine they told me 58,000 miles and come to find out that was not true they are liars and crooks

Remanns engines sold me a bad transmission thou SW ENGINES for 840.00 they wouldn't refund my money r replace transmission, wouldn't answer email r phone call they r a fake service that get your money and want refund it after selling u junk

I read all of the comments about SWEengine, I coulden't believe all of the comments were bad. I had a question about the engines i was about to buy from those A-holes.
I called because I had a question about the CPU. Joe the Dixk-head answered the phone. This Joe guy was a total DDDDixk- head, OMG how could people like that be sucessful in business. This Dixk head Joe was a total A-hole. He had a stupid answer for every question I asked him. This Idiot LOW-LIFE hong up on me while I was asking him a question. He was rude, disrespectful and he had no fuxking idea what customer service was, Needless to say, I would NEVER, EVER, EVER call or EVER do business with SWEngine company. I am worning the public this is a BUL$#*! COMPANY with VERY POOR service.

The company lies. They make you believe your getting the correct eng to make model and year car is that your looking for.its B's.not only was eng a different block with different bolt sizes than original eng it also looked like they pulled it out of a junk pile and said Walla good eng with less than 79,000 on it.it was not cleaned, most of the accessories that come with eng we're broke, and the looks of all the gaskets it had well over 130,000 on it and no paperwork to prove it had what they said they were shipping. They are scammers scammers scammers. Found out eng came from Pennsylvania and had over 130,000 on the eng they sent me. I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND this company for anything and will make sure what liers they are to all the mechanics who I personal know not to ever ever even consider them and that they should pass the word on. Dont know how they can stay in business with the s@#$ they send out. Your review SW Engines is a big fat 0. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Good luck to anyone who uses them. Your in for a big disappointed and a empty wallet. Look around before you buy an eng or anything.its worth the time and you will find a better product than what SW Engines can give you.
