My dog Sadie passed away in November of 2021 and I already had a ESA with my primary doctor from 2010. However, it was for a different apartment years ago. I had already paid a pet deposit and was told there's no pet rent and didn't think twice about letting my landlord know that when she passed I was getting another dog. I was told I'd need to start paying the $25 pet rent in the said pet friendly/pet free building plus deposit and that it wouldn't transfer. My ESA from my primary was no longer available to me as it wasn't in a computer from that time. Support Pets Doctor helped me get the appropriate documentation I needed for my state which I already deserved. Thank you.
