I ordered a hood for my horse. The material was heavier than I expected and I wanted to return the item. They said that since it was the correct item and not defective I would have to pay for the shipping costs to return. The UPS store wanted to charge me $38. NOT WORTH RETURNING. I will not order from this company again.

They sent me the wrong blankets then demanded I send photos of proof. Then called me a liar after sending proof of the blankets and there web site. Completely disgusting.

Had someone hack into my account and use my card to buy a bunch of stuff. It shows it got delivered to me but I never have received it otherwise I would have done a return to sender. This company has now been harassing me. I reported them to BBB 2 times now. I have explained this to them so many times and they can't seem to get that just because the tracking shows it got delivered that it doesn't always make it to the address it's supposed to go to nor do they seem to be able to understand that I live down a private dirt road where we have had numerous packages stolen and misdelivered. As soon as I knew what had happened I deleted all payment methods on my account and change my password. I barely have enough money to pay for my own health issues and all of our animals on our farm let alone to pay for something I never ordered and never received. I would go to some other place to get your tack and supplies. It's not worth having an issue like I'm having now and not get them to understand you never received anything or even orders anything to begin with.
Also their return policy sucks. You always have to pay for return shipping and they don't try to help by getting a label for you and just deducting the shipping cost from it you end up paying triple the amount of what they possibly are paying. An individual ends up paying a lot more than a company has to. There are better places that will pay for return shipping.

I got a pair of Justin steel toe boots and within the first 2 days of wearing my boots to work my seams ripped out. I have NEVER had a pair of boots tear at the seam... Especially only 2 days in... Come on now. I have tried to call i have also emailed for the last 2 weeks and i have yet to get any kinda of response. NEVER again will i order from here. Nor will i recommend them! Awful place to order boots from!

First they sent me the wrong order then I was told I had to wait 72 hours to get a label from UPS and then had to return that item so they would ship me my original order, then I did wait another week and a half and they did send me one of the two items I ordered. I waited another week call and find out if my order been cancelled for the second item due to lack of availability, then I ask the young lady about my reimbursement for the second item and she explain to me she could not tell whether they have sent me my money back or not. I will never order from these people again.

If I could give lower then 1 star I would.
I needed a bit that this company sold. When I bought it offline they said it would be a week later which I understand companies are behind. The thing is I am still waiting for it and when I called and asked they told me the end of September. That is a month and a half after I need it. I am very disappointed. I also paid for an upgrade to shipping so I could get it sooner. I will never buy from this company again.

I have several times ordered items that the website says available estimated deliver approx 5 days later only to have my account charged and an email saying estimated delivery 45 days later. I was told on a previous order that will only hold a back order 30 days and then they cancel your order. When I called they said it is a Hold not charge. I know the difference between a charge and a hold. This was charged and funds taken from my account. They are kiting your money. I will NEVER do business with them.

Had to return 2 items because we can't find a fly mask or leggings to fit our little pony. They charged me 7.99 to ship back each item and now I have to pay 9.99 to return each item! Should have read the reviews before buying!

Defective product

I purchased several (7) tough one 1680 denier turnout blankets. After about 20 days of use one of the blankets ripped out at the seam around the shoulder gusset. I contacted Stateline, sent pictures and requested that they fix the blanket, pay to have the blanket repaired or replace the blanket. They refused to do any. I have been a long-standing Stateline customer. They did not handle this matter professionally LouEllen Gradney

I purchased a Bowser Oslo dog bed through Stateline Tack in December of 2020. When I received the bed, the box was open and the bed was not covered in plastic. There was an Amazon return label in the box. Since the dog bed had no obvious signs of damage, I pulled off the covers and washed them. I then noticed that there was yellowing of multiple cushions. I contacted customer service and told them about this problem. I was not interested in returning the bed (because I needed it right away) but asked for a discount so I could order replacement cushions from Bowser directly. I contacted Stateline in January and February. They told me that they had contacted Bowser and were waiting for information. At this point, I have given up on receiving any reimbursement. I have bought equine supplies from this company for over 10 years with no problems. I will no longer use this company and don't recommend them to anyone.

I would not recommend my worst enemy to order from statelinetack.com. The customer service rep are RUDE and do not know how to efficiently communication with customers. It has been over 1 month since I have ordered my package and I have not received anything nor has statelinetack.com tried to compensate me or resend my packages. PLEASE do NOT waste your time, money, or energy with this company! If I could rate the company ZERO stars trust me I WOULD!

When checking out, under shipping, it said: Economy (5-7 business days), Ground (2-6 business days). The shipping times are based on "after the item is shipped," according to customer service. This is not clearly stated when you check out. They can ship anytime they want and tell you it's on time. Customer service was rude as well. He said, "You did not pay for expedited shipping. The only difference is that Ground shipping is dropped off at your door." Pretty sure Economy shipping is also dropped off at your door, but you might want to check before you order. If you can't wait weeks or months for your items, then don't buy.

I made a large purchase on 11/26 and they sent me WRONG items. On 12/15 after pulling teeth they said they'd ship the right products out. Never did! Tracking # was just a label made, nothing shipped! Kept writing multiple times a week and it's now March 11 and they said they'd refund me on 3/3 but come to find out this morning they only gave me STORE CREDIT. I'm not buying from these conmen any more! Customer service was asinine from Donna and multiple others. They need to be shut down permanently!

Ordered a hoof boot from them back in January, didn't fit my boy so I called customer service and asked if I can exchange for one size bigger. The lady on the phone told me that I have to return it, they refund me and then I have to re-order. I asked them if they will pay for return shipping and they said no, and that I had to call to get a number from them to refund. It is joe February 25th and I finally got my refund of $87.94. Which is a big rip off since I pay $103.53 for the boots, and then $15 take out... for what?!?!? Not to mention I picked quick shipping and it took more then a week to arrive.

So honestly this company sucks, returns suck, and refund sucks! I'm out more then $68 overall.

Will never order from this company again! Save your money, go to SmartPak or Dover or Amazon.

Shop elsewhere

Shop elsewhere in these days of online shopping, many companies are customer oriented. Stateline tack is not one of them. Look everywhere else for your item. Horrible customer service, products are not as advertised online and then when you get them you have to pay to send them back. And you can't send them back till they give you an RA number and they take forever to get you the RA number so you're almost out of time by the time you try to mail. Do yourself a favor look at Dover, SmartPak, chicks saddlery, anywhere else. Don't shop here

Terrible Return Policy

As I have seen others having the same issue as I have had, I wish that I would have done more digging on this company before making a purchase. I bought a $74.96 bag with $9.99 for shipping and $8.28 tax. I needed to return the bag because I got the wrong color and so for us to ship the bag back (since they do not provide free shipping) we ended up paying another $22. Then I get a refund notice to my email for $82.27 which I felt was alarming. I called the customer service and found out that they do not provide return shipping and DO NOT refund you what you paid for shipping which is insane so not I'm just out of $31. Oh also even if you add the tax to what the bag cost they're still off so I'm not sure who is counting money in that office but you're not doing a good job.

Very disappointed in their policy of 'no exchanges'. Really? Not only do you have to pay return the item, then you're expected to re-order the item that is no longer the same price as it was before Christmas. When asked to talk to a manager, I was conveniently 'disconnected'. My bad for not reading the reviews and 'policy' before ordering. Won't make the same mistake of ordering from them again.

Cheap Products

I ordered online saddle bags. I attempted to cancel the order after reading reviews but I was told the orders is processed immediately after it is made. Once, I received the products, they looked nothing like the images on the website. I was very disappointed. The " soft leather" has the appearance of dyed plastic. The saddle bags are smaller than they appear on the site. These are overpriced, cheap and poorly created scams. The return and cancellation process is so difficult that it discourages consumers from attempting to return items. Do not waste money on purchasing anything from this company.

First my order was not shipped- and after three weeks, I called to discover that my card needed to be verified again (first time order with company, which I'd never heard of). Regardless, I did. Then I realized as soon as I got off the phone that my gift would not arrive by Christmas (even though my original order was more than a month before!). So, I called back to cancel, which I was promised they did. A week later, I got emails that my order shipped... and they won't pay for any of the return shipping. Nightmare. Avoid this company. They need to get their $#*! together and not make promises they can't keep.
