I had an eye exam and they have literally wasted my time gave me two exams two different prescriptions and still my glasses don't work, they had me coming in for multiple appointments and now they want me to have another eye exam. I refused and requested my refund. This is a very bad place to get eye glasses do not waste your time or money

I purchased my glasses and they appeared fine. Within a month I started noticing what appeared to be spots in the lenses, clearly in the integrity of the lens, more spots appear as time goes by. The worst customer service! I was told the issue could only be resolved if I returned to the original franchise I purchased them from. I travel for work and asked if there were other locations I could go to should there be a problem, of course I was told yes. In N.Y. There weren't any. I reported the problem to the location I purchased the glasses and have gotten nothing but a run around. The one time I was actually able to speak to the Augusta manager he showed no interest in actually understanding the problem and stated a 30 day return policy. Wondering if anyone has experienced this same issue with the spots in the lens? Also, the worst lenses to clean, better quality for a pair of 20$ cheaters. The run around from customer service and associates at the call center has left me frustrated and fed up. I've worn glasses for 15 yrs. And never experienced such low quality and poor service. Choose another company that will provide some concern for customer satisfaction. 0 rating

THEY WILL SCHEDULE A SAME DAY EYE EXAM BUT DO NOT MENTION THAT IT WILL TAKE 10 TO 14 DAYS FOR YOUR GLASSES TO COME IN...IF YOUR LUCKY. THEY DO NOT NASWER THE PHONE, THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO ESCALATION MESSAGES FROM THERE SO CALLED CORPORATE CALL CENTER PHONE NUMBER *******788. I WAS TOLD AFTER 14 DAYS A BOX OF GLASSES WENT MISSING AND BLAMED THE CARRIER SERVICE. CANCELED MY ORDER WITHOUT NOTICE. FINALLY SPEAK TO SOMEONE ADVISING THE SO COLD MANAGER THAT I OF COURSE WANT AND NEED MY GLASSES. I ADVISED HIM DURING THIS CONVERAATION I WOULD LIKE SOME TYPE OF COMPENSATION FOR THIS ORDEAL. WHICH HE SPECIFICALL SAID HE REORDERED MY GLASSES TO ALLOW 7-10 DAYS AND I WOULD BE RECEIVING A CHECK FROM CORPORATE. CALLED BACK TODAY SPOKE TO THE SAME "MANAGER" AND HE BASICALLY CALLED ME A LIAR! SAYING HE SHOWS I AM BEING (STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OVER 3 WEEK) ISSUED A REFUND AND I HAD NO ORDER FOR GLASSES. WHAT A JOKE! I KNOW WHAT I SPOKE TO HIM ABOUT AND WHAT WAS SAID! I PAIS OVER $400 THEY HAD NO PROBLEM TAKING MY MONEY AND IT WAS THEN THAT I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE 10 -14 DAYS BEFORE I WOULD RECEIVE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH STANTON OPTICAL TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW!

First off my prescription was not correct. Then they do not prescribe me the same contacts I have worn for 10 years. They order a hydroglyde without telling me. I tried to wear them and my eyes kept burning. I bought glasses thinking my eyes needed a break from eye mart because they are half price from Stanton optical. I went today to see if they could try another pair and they wanted me to pay for another eye exam. I still have 4 months until my prescription expires. Now I'm going to americas best with my prescription and they will fit me with another pair for free. Not even where I got my exam and they are helping. Do not use this company. They are a scam and glasses are extremely high

$#*! THIS BUSINESS. Don't even know the time of their delivery. Definitely going online elsewhere next time. Was told 3-5 days and it's been a month. Never doing business with them again. $#*! THIS PLACE

Had a great experience at Stanton optical! David was excellent! He was very helpful and personable! Would highly recommend and we will be back for all our eye exams and glasses in the near future!

Went to Stanton Optical in Modesto California and dealt with Andrew awesome guy took care of all my needs and my concerns and I feel great about it a great person and a wonderful place to do business with have a blessed day OK

I agree w the reviewer- these people are liars and cheats... after requesting we pick up glasses they randomly closed- next day promised they were open- still closed- 4 hrs wasted drive time. 8 other people outside- most on their third trip over here. Some drove 170 miles one way. Our glasses are sitting right there but they won't release them- gum snapping pierced employees w terrible attitude letting us all stand in the sun.

All TECHNICALLY true. However….

You actually get (although it was never explained) a $59 deduction from your bill IF you buy their frames.

They have very few frames for $79 AND you wouldn't want any of them.

The buy one get one free doesn't apply to the lenses, And the cheapest lenses were $229.

My total bill was to about $500, for the middle (purple tagged) cost frames.

Hum…

Buy one get one free? $79 for two pair, including the exam.

If I were to spend $500, it would be a quality place that were honest about their advertisements.

Total scam. Went in for two pairs for $79 and was told I didn't qualify. Ended up getting one pair for over $300. They gave me the wrong prescription and wouldn't accept a return because it was passed 30 days. I regret not checking them sooner. The fact they gave me a completely different prescription should have been an exception. Warning do not shop with these crooks.

For two days I've gotten texts reminding/confirming me of my appt. Then, exactly 9 minutes before my scheduled appt (while I was already in the store) I get an email cancelling the appointment! I was also informed by store staff that a phone call was made also - except the exact phone where the texts came to show no incoming call, nor voice mail message. This is absolutely ridiculous service. This is the second time this has happened. Never again. I work at_________ - and need prescription safety glasses, computer glasses, as well as regular prescription glasses. Definitely will not be returning, and will gladly make an effort to warn others of the sad service and methods of operation. This is the worst operation I've ever seen! TThe entire staff should be embarrassed by this. Nine minutes before a scheduled appt., via email, not accessible until I arrived home. No phone call. No employee of Stanton would ever appreciate such shoddy service from anyone if they were on the receiving end.
Please save yourself the aggravation - go elsewhere! Anywhere! I know I will.

No call backs when glasses are ready. Not truthful about same day glasses. Will take the money though.

Stanton Optical lenses get dirty easier and are harder to clean than any lenses I've purchased since I started wearing glasses 15 years ago.

While the technicians were friendly and experienced, having the Optometrist diagnose remotely isn't a good business model.
