It's been 4 months, and I haven't been refunded for my parents' tickets, more than $ 1400 and ridiculous how you work. I also paid insurance to not lose my money. 2L2NCG the flight code. I have been living in America for 5 years and I am a resident and I my 20 year old brother who lives with me, during the crown he had severe depression leading to severe panic attacks my parents should have come to give me a hand to help us. 1400 dollars is a lot during a period that you do not work losing this money and meaning not being able to buy other tickets to bring my family here, very importantly all the agencies also the airport had confirmed that they would have let them enter with ESTA having a health problem of a 20 year old boy. I want to thank you for being the worst experience and making me waste hours on the phone and a lot of money

I just booked a flight through spirit for a weekend in USVI and not only did they steal my money but the customer service was extremely unbelievable. I booked through AA and wanted to cancel the flight. Called the customer service about 12 times before being connected to an older man with a middle eastern accent (the same person EVERY TIME, different name) who disconnected the call every time I asked for a refund. I demanded a flight confirmation code because it was 2 days after I booked and still didn't have an official flight ticket. Then I decided to go to spirit myself and try to get a refund. Which if you know anything about spirits policies for changes or refunds was HELL! Moral of the story I lost $700 right before having to take a trip. Never Again ‍

My daughter and her partner are stuck in NY after flights that were booked through this company were cancelled and no one contacted them to rebook. Can't get any $ back or any help! Don't but your tickets here!

This site and company is a sham. Never confirm fares. Charge your card and hold your money for weeks.

ME and my family are going on an international flight but we can go but dont know if w can return and i heard smartfares is a scam my mom keeps calling them to check if is cancelled even though its not u can go but idk if u can come back but they keep hanging up but we went on the etihad website and it said our flight has our names in it so yeah i dont think its a scam but well see what happens on our flight good luck

Absolutely the worst online ticket service. It is basically a group of scammers SCAM! Stay away.
I bought a ticket through them they modify my ticket because airline cancelled the flight. Guess what?! They want me to pay for another ticket thinking I am a stupid thank God this country there is law?
They will lie and intimidate you to pay them by saying your flight was cancelled. Stay away you will regret the worst customer service I have ever seen

IN ALL HONESTY I WOULD NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY EVEN HALF A STAR. THEY LOOSE YOUR RESERVATION AND THEN CHANGE YOUR FLIGHT ITINERARY WITHOUT NOTIFICATION. WENT THROUGH 2 AIRPORTS WITH MY CHILD THAT WAS ON MY ITINERARY AND TICKETS TO GO TO MY DESTINATION BUT ONCE IT WAS TIME TO RETURN BACK HOME THEY DID NOT HAVE MY CHILD'S INFO ON MY RESERVATION AND I HAD TO PAY FOR HER A SEAT WHICH SHE DIDN'T USE BECAUSE SHE SAT IN MY LAP THE WHOLE TIME, AS TO HOW I BOOKED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS RUDE AS HELL AND ON TOP OF THAT IT WAS SOMEONE THAT DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH CLEARLY. VERY UNACCEPTABLE... DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM, YOU DO NOT GET YOUR TICKETS UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE, AND AMERICAN AIRLINES WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP IF THESE PEOPLE SCREW YOU OVER BECAUSE IT IS A 3RD PARTY SITUATION.

Smartfares is not a legitimate company. Their email address, phone number, and chat support go nowhere. They sold me a bogus ticket on Copa Airlines and when I had a problem, someone named Elgyn spent 30 minutes trying to convince me to change my flight date. When I finally demanded a refund, he refused to correspond with me at all. Avoid at all cost and if you come across Elgyn, you'll know that you're not getting any help; cut your losses at that point.

This company canceled our flight just to have us rebook the exact same flight at 300 dollars more for our family. Stop taking advantage of people!

Such a horoball customer service, I have seen with all of their associates. I bought my ticket from them. My airline canceled the flight so she can't give me money back and I agreed to give them another chance and a few weeks after same airlines "Ethihad" canceled the flight. She told me that if 2nd-time airline canceled the flight, we will provide you full refund but their all their members 10 time hung up the phone and I spoke to a person, he was telling me you have to pay 50% fees and we will give you only 50% money-back which is bo$#*!. Send many emails but no reply. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE ANY TICKET. Such as OWFUL customer service.

They got my business by redirecting me from another travel agency's web page. I was over billed 200$ and not until I refused payment did they contact me. (3 weeks later) They still had not booked my flight! Watch out! Bad deal these people.

My flight have changed involuntarily by Airline and this agency were asking money to rebook it which was totally unfair. It supposed to be free of charge if airlines changes the flight without your knowledge...

This website is an absolute CON, they are charging in the name of the pandemic. They will show you cheap tickets online and then call you to tell you that they have to charge you extra because of over booking. Basically they leave you stranded on the airport. Please stop buying from them, they are coning so many people, let's spread awareness and bring this business down!

TL; DR: AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THEY DO NOT INFORM YOU ABOUT CANCELLATIONS AND LIE ABOUT DOING SO

I booked through this site and they claimed to have cancelled my booking and sent me an email the day after I booked and my credit card was charged. They did not send me an email whatsoever, and blatantly lied to me saying that they did. I checked all of my emails (including spam and trash) and of course it wasn't there. They claimed that an automated email, which in actuality confirmed my flight was the cancellation email. The email literally did not mention any cancellation or refund whatsoever. Additionally, up to almost a month after the charge, there was no refund pending.

My friend who used the same site at the same time had her flight confirmed while mine did not. Now I am forced to purchase a plane ticket for double of what I originally paid for. Had I not called them, I don't think I would have ever had a refund initiated. Needless to say, I will never use this shady and unethical site again. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this disgusting company. They do not own up to nor try to fix their mistakes and will attempt to make you question your sanity.

Please reconsider using SMARTFARES as a 3rd party travel agency. Their website hid a 'sneaky seat fee', when I went to pay, before I could approve/decline, it charged me a 200$ seat selection fee. Because of this, I went to cancel my flight within 24 hours. They 'approved' a refund, however it's been 33 days and still haven't issued my refund. Their BBB ratings have 1.2 stars out of 5. Lots of people complaining of them not issuing refunds. I reported it to my bank, US BANK, and they are giving me a refund thankfully and disputing the charge as fraudulent. I still haven't received my refund from SMARTFARES, despite multiple calls and them saying "the refund is approved, please wait and be patient". Please reconsider using them, 2nd and 3rd party travel agencies, if they promote and support such an unethical subsidiary company. Book flights directly through airline.

Review will take too long to write. Totally let down after couldn't fly with flexible ticket. Zero assistance from customerservice@ travelerhelpdesk.com, emailed 8+ times over 3 weeks. Total Disappointment, Will never trust Smartfares.com or Wego flights ever again, thieves in wolves clothing!

I had a flight booked through smartfares which was cancelled by airlines. On contacting the airlines they confirmed that the ticket will be fully refunded as it was booked in the USA and mentioned on their website, However when I contacted smartfares they wanted me to pay $400 as cancellation fees to them and said hey cannot refund the full amount. Very deceitfull and unfair business practice. I would not be using their services again and would also not recommend to fellow travellers.
