I didn't have such a good experience, since I had an inconvenience with the payment method and while I solved it they raised the price of the ticket 150 dollars, but for having the need to keep the itinerary I had to accept it.
I'd never heard of this company but it offered the lowest price for my trip. What I appreciated was the fact there were no hidden fees. You will see your trip total on the first page unlike some other sites!
I was highly disappointed because the fare you see online or the price that is shown isn't what you pay. You end up paying way more with smartfares because after you've booked they then contact you to inform you that they've increased the payment and what is shown isn't the full payment. That is distasteful. Let people make a decision on whether or not it's something they want. Don't try to full people into getting a ticket. Put the actual full price!
Muestran el producto con un precio, luego cuando se adquiere le cambian las condiciones y suben el precio y prácticamente lo obligan a pagar el sobre precio impuesto por la empresa y si uno desiste prácticamente lo estorcionan con una penalidad le retienen el dinero 8 días hábiles y cuando le retornan le.quitan casi el 30% asi lo obligan a pagar el precio que se les da la gana. Y hasta ahora no han enviado los boletos. Me gustaría que enviaran todo en español ya que estamos en COLOMBIA Y EL ANUNCIO PROMOCIONAL ESTABA EN ESPAÑOL.

I just discovered SmartFares yesterday when I was looking for some tickets, and I was pleased that they offered me a lower price compared to other websites, and also I was very pleased that they gave me the option to specify how many bags I'll have, including the checked bag, so they offered me a ticket which included the checked bag for a very good price! Much cheaper than if I would have paid separately for the bags and the checked bag!
Experience was good, but the final amount going through my credit card, was about 20% more than the amount shown on tha booking App

Booking was easy. I was sent an email about confirming my booking and was brought to a site that said to leave a review, with no button for confirming your flight.
I found the rates online and the whole time I was questioning if this was legit. My order processed and I received confirmation that the booking went through! I have never received a lower price for flying my family of 4.

Great! I went through Skyscanner and was re-routed to SmartFares. Would rather not receive continuous emails requesting I confirm I received my booking though.
