I searched for flights on Google, got a list of flights and selected Alaska. The next screw gave me booking options and I chose SmartFares because it was the least expensive.

After a couple minutes of my reservation, the sales team called me and they said the tickets were not available for the day i want to flight.
After a long call, I just ask for a refund.
The guy said he is going to try to found one ticket similar and mysteriously after a couples hours I had my tickets as there were in my purchase order.
Im not sure if he was trying to sale other tickets for more money but at the end it worked.
I called and ask fir superviser which was not available. I left a message but no one called me back. I had to call again (all paid internatiinal calls) and was promised a reply by email which was never received.

I booked three business class tickets to China online and entered all my card details. The payment was processed, and I received confirmation through my app while the transaction was going through.
At the same time, I received a phone call from one of the agents who said, "Madam, unfortunately the price you were given is no longer valid. We will need to charge you extra."
I was very firm and explained that I was still online checking the fare, and the price was exactly the same — in fact, slightly lower. I told them clearly that if they intended to charge me more, they should cancel the transaction immediately and I would rebook with another company.
I felt extremely uncomfortable and quite panicked, especially since they already had my card details. The agent said he would speak to his manager, and when he came back, he confirmed that they would honour the original price.
It was a very unsettling experience. Nowadays, you really don't know who is legitimate, so please be very careful when booking flights.
