After checking prices on several agencies, noticed Smart Fares had a reasonable ticket price.
I realized I had to change my departure hour to later in the day on Sunday. Through the chat I was able to do it without much effort. The change cost some, but now I can enjoy Sunday morning with family and friends in NYC.

This was my first time using smart fees. Everything was pretty seamless and intuitive. I panicked just a little bit when the first email said it wasn't a confirmation yet and I had to wait 72 hours (it was a weekend), for a final confirmation and call if it hadn't arrived, however I got the confirmation the next day and all was in order

Best deal I could find for the trip and super easy to book, but last minute they tried to add a travel protection over over 130+ to my ticket. Had to scroll all the way up to see it was added after I entered our info. So just be aware of that before hitting the booked button

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
