Seems less flexible. Too complex. Unhelpful. Was quite happy with earlier version. Now in the market for an alternative.
Is Skyscanner brave enough to abandon this version and go back to its predecessor? Plz do.
Site was user friendly. It was very easy to review the offers over a few months, pick the cheapest times to match your travel requirements and then book. Perfect, it had everything you needed, presented simply. The 'new improved' site is so clunky and poor by comparison that I've stopped using it as my go to reservation site
I booked a flight on Skscanner which was booked by their partners BudgetAir, they took my money out of my account and sent me an email saying I'm not booked on the flight because the price went up, so I need to pay them an extra XXXX to get on the flight. I called Qatar Airlines directly, and they tell me I am booked on the flight but they have not received payment for it. I'm lost as to what to do. This is my trip for Christmas, I cant afford to book another flight. They are robbing innocent customers & making them suffer. I am disappointed that this company is on Skyscanner. HELP... THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPEN!
Couldn't add luggage online kept sending me back to Virgin Australia who had to add extra $35 for requesting over the phone. Never again. They even allowed my daughter and 2 children to travel to NZ from GC with luggage and she couldn't get luggage back unless she paid an extra $130 each. They had to ditch their bags for carry on. No one was helpful.
It tells you a flight will be one price but you transfer to the flight provider and its about £100 more. Said that car hire would be £25 - yes it was too good to be true. When transferred to the sight it was £180 inc fees! If the price is not including fees, how can you use it as a comparison sight? Well ticked off!
I recently booked several flights with the help of Sky Scanner... but I have to give them one star because of the sites they share with. In particular Travel Merry... it is seriously the worst company I have ever dealt with. The customer service agents speak terrible english and are of very little help. This flight was booked for 1420 through SkyScanner, and was then changed by Travel Merry to 0750... no way we could have made the time change work for us. The flight was non changeable... non-refundable... nothing. Our credit card was also compromised a few days after booking through the site. I really hope that SkyScanner will look into the companies it represents, and truly consider removing them from their site.
Recently booked flights for me and my friends on skyscanner.net. Looking for cheap flights and did a Yahoo search to find them. Never used them before but looks like a great website and found a very cheap flight for all of us from NYC to Ireland. Website looks nice and its easy to use so I will use it again if it works.
This site was not helpful. I went to the site to search for an airfare from Newark to Detroit. I put in my travel dates and then clicked submit. Once I clicked submit it takes me to the search results page, and that is where the waiting game starts. It just keeps saying still searching for results and never shows any search results for my query.
I have been using SkyScanner since January 2014. SkyScanner works with booking all different types of airlines. I've notice that SkyScanner can be used in a good way or a bad way. Depending on where you are located, and the time of year, you can find cheap flights on SkyScanner going to different places all over Europe. Some flights may have long layovers, and other flights may be direct. When I flew from Naples to Luxembourg it took me about 5 hours. Even though, I had a layover it wasn't that long. As long as you plan well and do not fly with a lot of layovers, this is a good site to use.

Love this site! Have never had a problem with any of the airlines I've booked through them. I love the fact than you can choose a whole month to see the cheapest flights, really saves a lot of money if you're flexible. It's easy to use too, so I definitely prefer Skyscanner over other booking sites.
Very useful for finding and comparing flights, though there are occasions when a flight listed is no longer available.
On my last vacation to London (December 2012) i used this site to purchase the flight tickets, i got the best rates and a very good flight
A great web site to find cheap tickets to fly. It has all the airlines on one site and is so easy to put the dates you want to travel and choose the cheapest one. I like to use the weekend search because if you are not bothered on where to go, you can just choose somewhere new and different and pay very little. I love this site. It seems to have some airlines who do not link their information to it in this year. I hope this is temporary as we need a site like this.
Quickly summarises the cheapest ticket for travel, including the budget airlines. It even works out indirect flights. Same process for hotels and car hire. Time and life saver!
