We have used Skylux before for travel to Europe and they saved us money. We used them this time for flight from DFW into Santiago Chile and home out of Rio. They found me a cheaper fare than I was able to find on my preferred airline The whole process was very easy and professional and they respond to emails very quickly.

We had a medical emergency that prevented us from traveling so they issued a credit. When I went to use that credit the company would not return my emails or phone calls. It wasn't until I threatened to report them on social media to the BBB that they returned my calls. They then charged me a "fee" of $400 stating it was a bank fee. They issued tickets that were about $700 round-trip while I was finding the exact same flights for $400. This is flight our family makes twice a year and I have never paid $700 per tickets. Finally, they wanted to collect my credit card information again before they would issue the tickets as a credit and AGAIN charged me another $300 from my credit for another bank processing fee! This issues have still not been resolved at this time.

We were coming from Thailand on China Southern business class, because customs and other issues we missed the flight Bangkok to Guangzhou where we were supposed to board for Los Angeles. The Airline refused to put us in the next plane to Guangzhou to make the connection and referred to our agent, SkyLux, which in turn referred us back the the airline. After 3 hours on the phone we gave up. They may be a discount business class agent but when things go wrong, do not expect anything from them. We had to buy two business class tickets with EVA and decided to forget the REALLY bad experience with both China Southern and SkyLux.

I am very pleased with Moreno. He was polite, attentive. Listened to my requests and found me great seats business class to Bali on my favorite airline Qutar. I have to fly economy back because of time restrictions but I am still pleased as even Economy on this airline is awesome.

Purchased 2 Virgin Australia international Airline ticket Business class from Skylux Travel and two childrens tickets for same flight but direct from Virgin and 4 tickets direct from Delta for the beginning leg of the Australia trip. Delta flight collasped resulting in Itinerary change and therefore refunded our cost. Virgin children's tickets also refunded in full from Virgin. Skylux not refunding tickets claiming fees apply from Virgin but Virgin says not that's not true. Skylux travel is dishonest and manipulative. Beware of their practices.

My Manager Zackary Checkster was tireless in coming up with new routes, carriers and new deals for me for my three country Asia tour in January, 2020. He kept at it until we finally found one that works for us at a price that I thought was a excellent deal. So now I can look forward to a journey in comfort in a flat bed.

Since I have not dealt with SkyLux Travel before, I was naturally leery in this scam infested world. Zackary was able to allay my concerns that lead to this happy outcome.

Very disappointed
February 15, 2019

I am very disappointed with lack of information provided during booking. The agent did his best to give us a lower price and ended up booking our multiple destination trips separately (without letting us know) where we had to pick up our luggage at multiple destinations. In addition, they booked a lower class ticket to make the price attractive and when I came to change my booking, I was stuck with a reservation that was extremely inconvenient where I have an 8 hour layover after a 16 hour flight. I even offered to pay more to reduce my layover time but I was told I dont have any other options and I have to take that flight due to the class of my ticket. I am surprised none of that was disclosed during the booking time. Every traveler has a need, some people are looking the cheapest price and some travelers need the flexibility. Overall, this has been a very bad experience. This was my first and last experience and I highly recommend any traveler to go over all the booking details before purchasing the ticket through SkyLux. Some airports have different rules than others and it is very important to have access to all the restrictions and rules prior to traveling.

Ranger returns emails promptly, delivers the information within a day, and finds great deals for us. If we need to adjust to allow for a stay-over city, he makes it happen. The prices for Business class are always lower than what we can find.
