Sendle's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to unreliable service and poor communication. Many users report frequent delays in pickups and deliveries, lost parcels, and a lack of accountability from customer support, which often relies on generic responses. While some customers appreciate the cost-effectiveness and ease of use of the platform, these benefits are overshadowed by the stress and frustration associated with service failures. Overall, the feedback indicates a pressing need for improved operational reliability and customer service responsiveness to restore trust and satisfaction among users.

18 days and still not collected 25km from Melbourne City.
This is the third package that I've had the same issue with.
Have contacted Sendle twice, no response.
Asked for refund. No response.
Never again.
I sent several packages last 24 months and mostly it worked bad. They are very slow and often package get 'lost' and later finally appears somewhere in storage. Not worth the money.
First time I used them, 3 days to collect.
Second time I used them 5 days and still not collected.
20% cheaper than Australia Post - even if the service free I would not use them.
I have spent hours on the customer service who have now asked me to drive it to a drop off location.
Note: I live in a metro area!
NEVER AGAIN!
Twice my international parcel is sent back to me from Australian customs.(Sending Sydney to NZ)
No explanation as to why.
Over three weeks I write Sendle 3 times seeking a please explain
No response from Sendle
No number, no human interface
F ing useless
I have paid freight twice, got no service
If there is a sendle robot reading this, my reference number is SV4Z4ND
The dashboard says its still on its way.
Its here in my office!
Frustrating
Second day in a row our parcel has been sitting here waiting to be picked up. You get what you pay for, and if you're running a business and care at all about your customer's experience then you will want to avoid using Sendle who in turn partner with possibly the worst courier company in Australia - Fastaway/Aramax. They may have the cheapest rates but those cheap rates match their cheap and unreliable service. Online support is completely useless, they are unable to give you any information on your parcel/driver status and have no power to effect any change. No phone number to call.
I've just been able to save an established and very well known company in Sydney from dealing with the frustration and damage to their business from partnering with Sendle. Now... how many other people and businesses can I share my experience with...
This is a courtier service that is completely unable to deliver an item to an address where the addressee is not there but where a perfectly good reception desk is active.
The best you get is a curt message to collect your parcel within five days or else it will be returned to the sender. (Hard to beat this for service NOT!). Not sure how to manage this - I am not at my address at present - thats why I operate from a venue which has a reception desk - surely it can't be that hard.
I would prefer to use AusPost ahead of this mob. And AusPost is pretty useless - but at least you have a chance of getting your item. With Courier Please there is no chance.
Oh, one final thing - dont try and get help from Couriers Please - this is an exercise in futility - fill in a form and maybe they will do you a big favour and respond some time. But don't expect a response.
If you wondering why in some cases your E-Bay purchase never arrives or you feel that you could ride your bike to the seller quicker then be aware
EBay will now offer Australian parcel delivery service Sendle as a shipping option directly in the platform for the first time
If you wish to avoid the troubles that Sendle will cause when it comes to delivery of that purchase then check that the E-Bay seller is not using Sendle as the mail service
In the past week Sendle have "lost" 4 parcels that I have sent to customers - and offer no reimbursement
Sendle's customer service is non-existent and they are incredibly unreliable. Would literally be quicker to walk my parcel to Melbourne than use this service
Terrible slow company, 21 days and still no parcel. $30 to deliver 200kms away and still not here. No contact phone number and the online customer service is garbage.
I asked the online customer support "why 18 days in and still no delivery from 200kms away" the support member said "The great news is that we are still inside the expected delivery date(@ the 10 day mark) time and the reason it takes so long is because we work on the hub and spoke model"... What a load of garbage; this company is an incompetent pack of scammers. DO NOT USE THEM AS I NEVER WILL AGAIN!
I sent a $170 game console and arrived completely damaged. Was well packaged. When I filed a claim, directly they told me that I shouldn't use their service for valued products and was my fault (beside that they did an investigation where they consider that a ps3 used slim cost $400 in 2021 and was too expensive to send with them). Never heard that excuse before to the point to tell me to use another 3rd party service.
Can't get an answer why my parcel cannot be collected - 5 days late and each attempt to communicate with Sendle is loaded with no substance or positive outcomes.
The communication process of no phone and waiting for a chat person to get back to you is absolutely terrible.
Starting to evaluate whether using Sendle is long term inappropriate.
There is no customer support, for either senders or receivers. Their "startup" is a joke.
Their price guarantee is also a lie. Cheaper to go with Auspost Express than Sendle and it'll actually get there and can be tracked properly.
After reviewing the documents submitted, we're sorry to let you know that the claim was deemed unsuccessful.
This is because we didn't receive the documentation needed to prove the value of the parcel contents
Thanks for your patience while our team looked into the Cover claim for parcel SGXT85T.
Is in not a proof?
O M G Due for cremation with my dead sister we sent a jumper to the funeral parlour. Now, this funeral parlour is one of four units in a large space of land and it is at the end and it is HUGE and yuo can't miss it. Address was on the package but not the unit number. You can see the thing from miles away on the road and it definitely DID NOT NEED the unit number, and BTW, there were SIGNS EVERYWHERE for the funeral parlour. Did he leave the parcel for them? No. Couldn't be bloody bothered and said "no unit number on package". Did the guy even read that it was to the funeral parlour? COULD HAVE RUNG ME. COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING. BLOODY DISRESPECTFUL DISGUSTING LAZY COURIER.
I deal with transport and deliveries all day every day. I find it impossible to believe that a company has no phone contact anywhere and emails are simply not answered. It seems the drivers can "say" they try to deliver, when in fact, they either can't be bothered or run out of time. Birthday gift is now 3 days late and possibly missing because driver was "unable to deliver"
They claim they are customer service champion. It's a big bull$#*!.
They have 2 pick up guarantee, but everytime they failed to pick up they blaim you and say the parcel is not ready to be picked up.
When they lost your parcel, they will put you into complicated procedures. You can only claim your lost within 20 days after estimated arrival. But every time you ask where the parcel is after it passes its estimated days, they always tell you that the parcels are still on track only delays.
Yet few days after, you asked again and turned up an investigation which takes 10 more days, waiting for investigation to be conducted takes another 10 days, so it means there is no way they pay your lost items regardless the resulof the investigation.
Think twice using this company.
Yes the sender got the house number incorrect, but they were absolutely hopeless In rectifying the issue. There was an attempt to deliver, they sent notification regarding an issue, we then immediately began corresponding via online chat where and how to arrange a pick up. The communication was very poor and felt we just kept going around in circles. We agreed to pick the items up, but within 48hours the items were sent back to the sender which created a lot more issues, time delays and extra costs. Very average Company to deal with, especially when they don't even have a contact number. Your left at the mercy of some online messaging service which is probably somewhere in Bangladesh and what makes matters worse is they show no remorse but even starting arguing their point with no apology.
Big mistake having any parcel sent through sendle, first package did not arrive form melb to perth, bigger mistake parcel was sent over again and i received a message stating that it was out for delivery 3 days ago, still waiting. How can you run any delivery company with standards like these, basicly bloody hopeless
Never fking use Sendle if you want your parcels to be delivered.
They will never reply to your enquiries.
Answer: Impossible. No phone contact at all. Email messages to Sendle support get scripted replies pointing to information on the website. A week of demands to escalate gets email contact from another employee who says all the same things as the first one.
Answer: Absolutely not. Appalling. False information. I need my wheel battery, they repeatedly said it has not been picked up yet the shop who sent it says it was picked up 4 days ago. They have lied to me.
Answer: I used to use them because they were reliable. Now I wouldnt use them if they were the last courier company on the face of the Earth. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and dodgy.
Answer: I would look elsewhere. They started out good but niw measure boxes by volume which is very costly.
Sendle is building the most efficient and delightful delivery solution on the planet to make shipping simple, reliable and affordable for millions of small businesses in Australia, the U.S. and Canada, and their customers.
