Sendle's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to unreliable service and poor communication. Many users report frequent delays in pickups and deliveries, lost parcels, and a lack of accountability from customer support, which often relies on generic responses. While some customers appreciate the cost-effectiveness and ease of use of the platform, these benefits are overshadowed by the stress and frustration associated with service failures. Overall, the feedback indicates a pressing need for improved operational reliability and customer service responsiveness to restore trust and satisfaction among users.

I experienced 2 terrible services from this service
1. Once they emailed to go to the given address to pick up my parcel because they said that their driver came to the address but nobody was there and left the note at 10:45 AM, but they didn't realise that was my business opened from 9am-6pm every day. BIG LIE!
2. This recent one they said that their driver attempted to deliver but the premise was closed without telling us when did they come nor let us know after 2 weeks later when we asked!
I booked a pickup for Friday 30th July and it now Tuesday 3rd of August and the parcel is still not collected. I will not be using this service again.
Bloody hopeless. Will not redirect / send it to a new address when the sender has stuffed up. Every other courier I know will do this and has a phone number. This will be the 2nd order that is going to be returned to sender through no fault of my own. Totally useless. Customer service minus 5 absolute crap. Rubbish.
Beware they never tell you post delivered and can chargeback you more. SENDLE decide to make a top up charge whenever they feel like it is under charged the first time, based on volumetric pricing, it is their total discretion. Don't argue and no proof of measurement once your parcel has gone.
Just debit your credit card without telling you, no email at all after. You just see a surprise debit in your credit card statement.
I HAVE LOST $500 IN VALUE THEY LOST MY ITEM AND DID NOT COVER ME AS I GAVE AUTHORITY TO LEAVE. NEVER TO TRUST SENDLE AGAIN
The driver stole my item and Sendle refused to admit it was there fault and didn't receive any compensation do not use sendle
They use courier companies that time and time again pick up all of the parcels (not just the ones they are meant to). Then they get lost and there is no accountability or compensation for time and money of product lost. The emails are generic and not personable. We have used them for multiple companies and have now given up. Do not recommend
Do not make the same mistake I did by using Sendle. My parcels have been sitting at the depot for 2 weeks waiting to be collected. They don't have a contact number and are so slow to respond on email. Avoid avoid avoid! Aus post has been really reliable!
If you live in a major metro city like Melbourne, I'd advise you to choose another company. Sendle used to be better but they are now bringing on board drivers who do not attempt pick ups if they are unfamiliar with the area. After specific phone instructions to the driver personally and 3 failed attempts because he didn't know how to use an intercom, they tried to charge me more for another label, I could have walked the parcel to my recipient in the time.
S4V6Y6B - Sendle driver picked up my expensive gas heater, after I paid delivery fess + extra for insurance cover.
1 week later, no Tracking and no word of heater.
When questioned Sendle (no phone support, but rather incompetent support from overseas call centre), they firstly denied picking up the heater.
When produced security camera footage, they turned around to mention that the parcel was picked up and delivered already.
They updated their tracking manually, but forgot to manufacture the details properly, so they showed that the parcel was picked up from VICTORIA and delivered to SYDNEY in 3 hours.
They finally refused to honour the insurance cover I have paid for.
I am out of pocket total of $700 + hours of frustration and time lost in following this up with no result and no one to answer for that.
DO NOT DEAL WITH SEDNLE, AND SAVE YOURSELF THE COSTS + POTENTAIL LOSSES.
Worst customer service. No phone number. No reply to numerous messages for a D*MN USPS NUMBER INSTEAD SO THE POSTAL SERVICE CAN LOCATE A =500 TRACKING. NOT WORTH THE LITTLE BIT SAVED. SWITCHING TO UPS.
This is the absolute WORST company I have ever used. I placed a large order of poly bags. After waiting a month I had still not received it. I checked my order status and here they cancelled my order and KEPT MY MONEY! I tried contacting the company many times... no phone number, no reply to emails. As far as their shipping - NOT GOOD EITHER - use Pirate Ship!
Just take a look at all the comments on their social media. Its been over a year and they've stopped responding to my emails about a lost package and no refund. This company isn't even carbon neutral really, they are a third party contractor with no customer service team who puts carbon guilt onto the couriers they use. They're still using diesel trucks, its just not sendles trucks. How these thieves still operate is beyond me. James moodle (their ceo) is just another white boi with daddy's money who uses buzz words and social media to look enticing. What an joke.
Customer support answers in 2 business days... who has a business that can be on hold for 2 business day?
$1 shipping promo is a scam, doesnt update to $1, charging me full price, which is more than competitors.
How do you run out of mailers when you are shipping company? This was probably just a way to get my personal info which they have already started to use for marketing.
They constantly go back on their word, extremely poor form, parcel arrived damaged and they managed to blame me for using a polybag, which by the way is used by millions of companies around the world as a standard packaging item. I'm out of pocket $350. They are f--king criminals.
I used to spend $2.5k to $3k a week with them... I run ebay and Amazon stores and send a lot of parcels. But after repeated poor service I switched to the eParcel system... and saved about a thousand dollars a week. I recently gave them another try and in the space of one week, they delivered a shipment to Germany instead of India, damaged a fragile spirit level way beyond usability and then failed to allow me to do a claim on it as I was 1 business day past their bull$#*! 10 business day limit (I was away over Easter and missed their stupid deadline by a day) and also failed to collect my items for 3 days straight. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that my thousands of dollars are now going to a much better company.
I have been using Sendle for business for over 2 years now. If there is a problem and you need assistance from an actual person- good luck! It takes about 50 steps to navigate where to get help. The bigger the company gets the worse they get. Parcels go missing often and then they launch an 'investigation' which never amounts to anything and the parcel and it's contents are never to be seen again. I get my $5 shipping cost refunded every time but honestly it's such a hassle even getting in touch with someone at Sendle to help it's not worth. It's worth spending the extra $2 per package and use Aus post- can speak to an actual person whenever you need.
Tried emailing contacting customer service, no response. Tracking updated as ‘delivered' then 3 mins later ‘attempted delivery, card left' got nothing, emailed customer service no response. Was at home the whole day, no one called. No one responded, I don't even know if my parcel is delivered to the wrong house or it's lost, I don't know because they are taking over one week to reply. Please don't even bother with Sendle, save your time. Next time I see a package is being delivered by Sendle I will kindly ask to cancel the package and not even bother with purchasing the item.
Missed Pickups CONSTANTLY. Missing items constantly. Delivering to the wrong address constantly, and now today I've had one "Out For Delivery Today" that just never showed up. These guys are hopeless.
Answer: Impossible. No phone contact at all. Email messages to Sendle support get scripted replies pointing to information on the website. A week of demands to escalate gets email contact from another employee who says all the same things as the first one.
Answer: Absolutely not. Appalling. False information. I need my wheel battery, they repeatedly said it has not been picked up yet the shop who sent it says it was picked up 4 days ago. They have lied to me.
Answer: I used to use them because they were reliable. Now I wouldnt use them if they were the last courier company on the face of the Earth. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and dodgy.
Answer: I would look elsewhere. They started out good but niw measure boxes by volume which is very costly.
Sendle is building the most efficient and delightful delivery solution on the planet to make shipping simple, reliable and affordable for millions of small businesses in Australia, the U.S. and Canada, and their customers.
