I bought tickets that were not labeled obstructed view. Once I bought the tickets it said it was obstructed view. I reached out to seatgeek and they never responded to me.
The ease of navigating thru the app as well as them featuring what is a good deal & what is not is pretty favorable. The app is very well designed...
Buying Orioles tickets was easy, relatively fast and SeatGeek showed which tickets were a good deal or not.
Ordered tickets and was promised tickets would be emailed at least 48 before show.
Tickets never came. Called and emailed and finally got a response, saying the tickets are now "will call" and to bring ID to venue and pick up tickets there. Waited in the freezing cold for 4 hours, and when we went into venue to pick up the tickets, they did not have ours! What a NIGHTMARE! Needless to say, we did NOT see concert! WILL NEVER USE SEATGEEK AGAIN!
Hey Jennifer, thank you for sharing your feedback. This situation was definitely not OK, and we appreciate that you reached out to us on it.
We are so disappointed that your seller did not get you into the venue through Will Call as promised. This is absolutely the worst-case kind of scenario for any buyer on the secondary market, and we take matters like these incredibly seriously. Issues like these can and do result in sellers no longer being permitted to list with our service, so we will be reviewing this situation carefully and taking this matter up with the seller of your tickets.
Since you purchased through SeatGeek, your order was covered per the terms of our Buyer Guarantee. Reviewing our records, it looks like you've previously reached out to us and we have already gotten you a resolution based on that guarantee. Even so, we really do understand that this is a hugely upsetting situation. If you ever do consider giving our service another try, we'd love to know so that we can make sure your next experience with us is the very best possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if there is ever anything we can do to assist.

My only issue is that I spend 350 dollars on tickets and 60 of it is on processing fees. Im sorry but to me thats just an excessive amount of fees. The more you pay the less fees should be tacked on to the overall price.
I purchased 2 tickets for my young kids in tow 22. I needed one ticket behind them in row 23. I was unable to purchase one ticket. Had to buy 2 more. Very frustrating.
Hey Stefani, thanks for sharing your experience! I'd be happy to help shed some light on what happened here.
When selling tickets on SeatGeek, sellers are able to adjust split settings by setting rules on what quantity of tickets out of the group can be sold together. This is typically done to avoid a situation where a seller is stuck with a single hard-to-sell ticket. So in this instance, if a seller has two tickets, they may change their settings so that those tickets can only be sold together and not separated, because the chances of them being able to sell both tickets together is much higher than if they allowed them to be sold singly.
As a buyer, the best way to avoid ordering from a listing that does not allow splits is to filter your search by Quantity before selecting a listing. This way, you will only see listings from sellers that can sell in the quantity you desire.
We hope this helps give you some more options for next time! If you have any other questions about how to get the best experience out of SeatGeek, please do not hesitate to let us know.

I purchased tickets to a concert with little hassle. I continue to be concerned with the rising price of fees. So I will shop around for the best price.
There were 3 seats available in a section and I just wanted 2. Why could I buy either 1 or 3 seats?
To print my e-tickets, I need to download the App and I really don't want their damn app. How else can I print or display my tickets?
Hey Alan, thanks for sharing your feedback! You've got two issues here that we want to address, so we're going to take them one at a time.
When it comes to why you couldn't buy just two tickets: When sellers list tickets with us, they have options to turn on different "split" settings, meaning rules around how a group of tickets may be split. In general, sellers really want to avoid getting stuck with a single hard-to-sell ticket, so it's important to them to have rules that prevent this from happening. When a seller has three tickets listed for sale as in your example, they may set up a rule that will not allow two tickets to be sold from that group, since that would leave them with just one ticket left. If you're looking for a two tickets, we recommend setting the Quantity into your search from the event page - that way, any tickets that can not be sold in a group of two will not be displayed and you can find the very best deal for the number of tickets you want.
Looking at your tickets, it looks like they don't need printing at all! The venue in this case is totally cleared for mobile entry. You can just open your tickets on SeatGeek.com using your mobile browser, and the site will show you some QR codes that you can use to get into the event. If you're having difficulty accessing those codes, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we'll gladly help you get set up for the game!

Overall, I usually enjoy SeatGeek's services but I've had a couple issues with my tickets getting taken as I'm entering my payment info. They also need to go to strictly E-tickets... not "e-tickets" that you then have to print yourself or pay a ridiculous charge after standing in line at will call. Takes away a lot of the convenience of ordering online.
Hey Kevin, thanks for sharing your experience here! To address your biggest concern here: We totally know what you're feeling with those e-tickets needing printing, and as a tech company, we're on board with a ticketing world where ALL tickets can be used straight from your mobile device! Unfortunately, SeatGeek doesn't call the shots on whether mobile entry will be accepted for an event - the venue does. Different venues have different setups, and while there are tons and tons of events out there that you can absolutely get into with tickets on your phone, there are also events that do not have a setup that reliably allows mobile entry. If we have any reason to be concerned about whether or not a venue will let you in with tickets on your phone, we turn off our QR codes for that event and instruct users to print their tickets instead. We know it's a pain, but it's a lot less of a hassle than being turned away from your event because the venue can't scan your tickets on your phone!
Until we live in that world just beyond the horizon where all events are mobile-friendly, we recommend reaching out to the venue themselves in instances where you want mobile entry but you're stick with print-at-home tickets. They may not be able to change anything right away, but hearing this kind of feedback may be the push they need to prioritize getting new scanners, software, or policies that will create a more fan-friendly experience!

Second time using the app. Very please with ease of getting tickets and the selection. Got great seats both times for a fraction of the price.
I had no problems booking tickets. Easy user friendly. Used it for different events. Printed my tickets, phone tickets also available.
Excellent. Had the E-Tickets almost immediately. Was a bit unsure about E-Tickets only but they worked fine.
It was really fast and quick and a very good deal I'm very happy and I can't wait to enjoy the show in August
Better than buying tickets from the Tigers box office nothing Ive always gotten great deals from SeatGeek will continue to use them
Everyone sitting next to us got there tickets for much cheaper Ive persoanly never paid that much for tickets especially to a empty stadium
Hey Alexis, thanks for letting us know about your experience!
As you might know, SeatGeek doesn't sell tickets ourselves - rather, we're a service, and our Marketplace connects buyers and sellers on the secondary market. We work to help buyers find the very best deals in a lot of ways, but we can't control what sellers ultimately choose to sell their tickets for. Sellers instead post the tickets at whatever price they want to sell at, and buyers get to look for the best deals and choose which ones they want to buy. This means that it's pretty normal for there to be price fluctuations on the secondary market - cheaper tickets get snapped up during high demand times, while sellers price much lower if they aren't selling much.
We'll typically be able to help you find the best deals at the time you choose to purchase, but if getting the very lowest possible price is important to you, try checking in from time to time and watching for price drops or unexpectedly awesome deals to pop up. I also recommend making sure to check whether tickets are still available at the box office - if the event isn't sold out, sometimes the best deal is going to be straight from the source.
I hope this helps clear up what to expect when it comes to pricing. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to call or email, and we'll be happy to help.

Across the board fees, no matter what the ticket price is, suck. I have to get the cheapest tickets I can find, only to be pay a 25% fee. I can see paying a bit more for a more expensive ticket, but thats pricey.
Hey Travis, thanks for sharing your feedback! We'd be happy to look into this with you.
Looking at your order, it looks like you spent around $94 in all on your tickets. SeatGeek, like most marketplaces for the secondary market, uses percentage-based fees. That fee is typically around 20% per transaction (that's not split with some on the buyer side and some on the seller side - one transaction, one transaction fee!), but varies a bit from one seller to the next - in this case, it was around 16-17%. This is a pretty normal amount for the secondary market, even a little low, and it's what we need to charge to be able to cover the cost of our services, our people, and everything that we need to provide what we think is the top ticketing experience out there.
I hope this helps clear up your experience and gives you an idea of what to expect in the future! If you have any more questions or concerns on this, please feel free to give us an email or a call and we'll be happy to help.

I found tickets for the Beyoncé concert in Atlanta on Seatgeek! I found great seating for a very good price! I will always use seatgeek from now on!
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings. You can read more about that here: https://support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036685293 I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions-- Best wishes, SeatGeek CX Team

Hey Chris, thanks for sharing your feedback! It looks like you first reached out to us just a few hours ago at 12:28 pm EST, and we responded at 1:24 pm EST and have discussed this with you fully.
To recap: We can see that your order did have an obstructed view noted by the seller. This note would have displayed at ticket selection, at checkout, and should still be visible when you view your order in your past history. We've also just checked our records of your checkout process and can confirm that this note displayed as expected.
We definitely understand how disappointing it is to receive tickets that are not what you were expecting, but in this case, the seller did note the obstructed view on the listing and we do not have any basis to pursue a refund with them. That doesn't mean you're out of luck, though! The best way for you to recoup your money if you no longer want those tickets is simply to resell them. We make it super easy to list e-tickets like these for sale, and the vast majority of tickets listed on SeatGeek find a buyer.
If you have any questions or need any more assistance on this, please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know!
