Not only did my online order get processed to the wrong address but it has taken 5 phone calls and multiple incorrect responses from this company to try to fix the problem. Now I have been charged twice (over $4800) for their mistake. They literally told me to accept delivery of a hot tub to the WRONG address and then ask for a return/refund. Are you kidding me? Take delivery of a hot tub to the wrong address, have it sit in my driveway, then have it picked up by the same delivery service, and then delivered to the correct address because? Unbelievable to the nth degree...
Sam's club online customer service have the worst customer service ever. They are not knowledgeable and have no idea what they are doing and that including the gift cards department. Every one of them is useless and lies more than the person before them. Trying to get my money back has been a nightmare and still didn't get it yet. They keep submitting a request to the wrong department or at least that's what they told me. I think Sam's club trained them to lie. Buying in store is a totally different story. In store they usually fixed the problem on the spot.
Horrible experience with stupid store workers even dumber Old relic customer service workers who cant help with anything so they make you call some foreign non English speaking person who even knows less (even much dumber than a box of rocks).
Only reason I joined Sams Cost $30 $45 back when using scan and pay first time. If you enjoy pain shopping at Sams will be very enjoyable Even for FREE its a nightmare this company will start closing stores Dirty stores friendy but stupid workers
I will never order tires from Sams in Fairlawn again. I order a set of tires on 11-04. They said 3 to 5 days delivery. I also purchased the install package. After 7 days and no call or emails I decided to reach out to them. Called multiple times to tire department and was disconnected both times. Called customer service with no help. Was told only 1 person was working and they were busy so call back later. So I logged in account and chatted, no help. So on 11-29 I had enough and called Katz tires. Ordered the same tires that Sam's couldn't get. Tires on my car 2 days later. I didn't even have to pay for a membership either. Sam's needs to stop taking orders for things they cant fulfill.
Just want to state my experience at sams club in Newport News. Placed an online order for pick up 4hrs upon arrival. Arrived at sams club and my order wasn't ready. Decided to wait in my vehicle for over 30min. Order still wasn't prepared. I asked a Employee by the name of Christian which was busy helping others. He said he would check on it for me. He did. Yet the order wasn't prepared. Another 10min in my vehicle waiting. He walked out with my order. I was very grateful for his service. He went over and beyond for my order. Christian represents a good employee. I really appreciate the good service.
Today I was at Sam's club in hilliardRome and I bought food for $65 and I have the cashier her name was Tanya and I gave he $100 she gave me $30 she counted the change to me said 20, 30, 35 and whe I looked at the money infront of her I told her this is $30 not $35 her face changed it means that she wanted to steal $5
How that happen? Becareful from this lady cause she can do that with other customers as well.
Sam's showed black Friday Price in stock. I ordered, received conf and pickup time. Got there no printer... was told its not in Stock & I should've received an email (no email!). No refund of my over $300... it will take 7-10 days (wtf). Also told me no way to reserve a printer when they get in eventhough they have my money!
I updated my address and then placed an order for delivery. The system used my old address and the customer service reps could not/would not change the order or cancel it. Fed Ex couldn't cancel either. I now have to drive out to my old address - intersept the delivery on Thanksgiving day and drive the items over to the store for refund. What a crock! Rude and incompetent customer service reps and managers!
It is very Frustrating to have a business membership for 8 years paying $100 annually and now they want more money for a plus membership to be able to get in early before my business opens.
Also had a tax exempt status for entire membership and i have been told that they just decided to delete everyones form so they would have to send an updated one. Is really what we should have to put up with these days.
You said In the email that if I spend my time on your survey you'd give me a free gift card. Not only did you not offer a gift card but you offered a bunch of crap and none was for free. You're liars
I have been a 25+ year member of Sam's Club, and I can't even explain how HORRIBLE the customer service has become at Sam's from when I started to now.
Back then, they were worried about the "customer experience" and bent over backwards to SERVE the customer (as they PAY to shop there) vs what hit has become today (they are more worried about profit over customer satisfaction -- IN MY OPINION).
The lanes have gone from being fully staffed and taking care of you, to 2-3 lanes open (out of 7 or 8) and horrendous wait times, and then they went to 1/2 staffed check out lines, and 1/2 "self check out" lanes, as well as the "app" to check out (which I prefer - scan, check out and pay on my phone).
The tire and battery center went from "first come, first served" to having to wait almost 4 weeks to get an appt to get new tires... completely understaffed, and the ones that are there, have a horrible attitude and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Even though I have bought tires and batteries at Sam's for 25+ years, I am NOW going to Walmart for batteries as Sam's Club went from 3 year FREE REPLACEMENT and then pro-rated to 8 years - -they are now ONLY 3 years FREE REPLACEMENT. So, if you battery craps out at 3 years and 1 month, too bad, so sad for you -- you are screwed. Even Walmart, the sister company that you do NOT pay to shop at, even has 3 years FREE replacement and "pro-rated" to 5 years.
I also joined COSTCO over the past year, and hands down, IF there were more COSTCO's around me, I'd switch in a heartbeat as Sam's has forgotten that THE RETURNING CUSTOMER IS THE BREAD AND BUTTER of the company... When I move, I am moving warehouse stores, too...:-(
Half of the gas pumps don't work and the attendants are not helpful. At times it takes 15-20 to get gas at the Sam's Club gas station in Daytona Beach Florida! I hate going there.
Normally I love Sam's Club but I have been trying for a week to get my money back. They charged both my husband Patrick and I (Marci) membership fees. I have called several times and also talked to Discover and it's still on my bill! Don't get a membership! Or pay cash! Or this might happen to you!
I purchased glasses from Sam's Club back in May and just received a bill stating my Ins wouldn't pay for my progressive lens.
My insurance said Sam's quoted me and charged me for tier 1 but put in tier 3 lenses which are much more expensive. And now they're trying to charge me the difference.

At the Nicholasville Kentucky store (in the store), a representative at customer service desk stated that I would get special rate of $25 for membership. My card was charged 45. I contacted 1 888 number and representative stated that is not possible. Made me feel as if I were not telling the truth... wonder if it is too late to cancel? Not a fan of this bait and switch tactic.
He store inside is always clean and well stocked, between the sellf check out and the number of cashiers, checking out is hassle free... the 12 gas pumps moves along pretty with every pump occupied and another 12 to 20 cars always waiting... however, the CAR WASH SUCKS... this has been a problem for months, this is not a one time incident... you pay for a car wash with your gas, and then you drive to the car wash, when you get there the FUN begin, you have to mass your number into the screen, sometimes it works othe it doesn't... further, the machine rarely accepts your credit card... totally annoying, as this has been going on for several months... sometimes, when I can't find an attendant, I just leave... giving
Sams $7.00 for nothing... this is the Sam's in North Naples, on the corner of Immokolee Road and Airport Road... if they are going to have a car wash, it should work...
In the middle of a pandemic we do all we can to stay safe from COVID 19. Part of this is online ordering. However even though we paid for the upgraded membership we get no reward points for ordering online. Sam's only gives you rewards for going into the store. Considering we spent thousands of dollars online ordering there is no loyalty here and no reason to renew the membership. I will be switching to COSTCO. At lease they really have loyality and reward members properly. I am learning more and more that sams does not care about the customers that keep its doors open. That's sad considering the long history we have had as members.

I purchased the same club $100 membership specifically to get the advertised discount for Disney. Once I paid and joined the "discount" was exactly the same price on Disney's website. I called customer support and was told the advertised discount was based on "gate" prices. So I asked for a refund on the membership and was told ok. BUT they could only process the refund if I went into a Sam's Club and they would give me cash. Or they could give me a Walmart gift. I asked for the charge on my card to please just be refunded. They are refusing unless it's via cash or Walmart gift card. Is this even legal?
So they charged 100 to be a prime member. I wanted to order things online but things I ordered took 2 to 3 weeks to get from all over the U. S, then when I renewed my membership and go to the Sams which is about 40 miles away they didnt carry half the stuff I needed, needless to say, there is no benefit in purchasing the prime membership. Or going to the store, shopping at Walmart is closer and they have what I need. I think Sams is trying to be more like Cosco selling in smaller quantities. I will never go to Sams again!
