Needed updated passport because i was traveling internationally in a little over 2 weeks. Bought the 2 week deal and then i was told after i went through all the work that 2 weeks for them means 14 business days. In normal vernacular that = 3 weeks. Very frustrating and misleading, but oh well. So i cancelled that order and purchased the 1 week express service. After you complete all the documents you get an email that says to call a number to "download documents". I called, and called, and called. It was always either 1) "we are experiencing higher than normal call volume so leave a message and we will call you back" (which i did mulitile times and never got a call back) or 2) it goes to an answering service who knows nothring but takes your number for them to call you back. Never received call back, ever. I had to scramble and buy a flight across the country to go to a government passport place to get it done. Now it has been over a month and i still dont have my $968 refunded even though i requested it a month ago. I called again today and they said their refund department is running behind. What a joke. I would highlly recommend against using this service.

I used rush my passport. The department of state cashed my check but have not received any updates since. Called rush my passport and they said they would call me back. Then they emailed me a month after submitting paperwork and my old passport to say my documents are ready to review and be shipped. Well I did that in April, why get an email saying it's ready to be shipped at the end of May.

Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with. Avoid this company like the plague. Missed my flight after paying for a 1 week expedited service over 2 weeks before my flight. They did get the passport issued BUT despite them telling me the state department would mail the passport directly to me they mailed it to them and it took them 2 days to put it in the overnight FedEx (this is trackable through the state department's site and once the fedex label was created). Again, this is despite me calling them each day pleading with them to give it to FedEx. I called back just asking for my $200 back for paying for the 1 week service and they asked me to fill out a form and mail it in for their billing to consider my refund. Just an absolutely joke of a company
Please just use the expedited feature that the government offers Because this company is literally taking your money and doing nothing
Rushmypassport processed my 2 week order earlier than the initial ETA provided. I did receive emails asking me to call the customer service line but when I called in each rep told me they had to take a message and have someone call me back. This was frustrating due to the tight deadline coming up for a trip to Europe as I lost about 24 hours of time waiting for someone to call me to tell me what was needed. In my case, they needed my name to be on an Excel drafted itinerary, a simple fix, but the company didn't have the fastest turnaround to confirm what I sent was sufficient. Email communication ended up being the best method to check the status of my passport with the courier. One thing that did concern me was the courier was called Best China. When having a US passport created, having a company associated with China does not seem secure, just a thought. They did deliver early which gave peace of mind.
Do not pay for this service. Go directly through the post office. Be aware you will not be able to get your refund for months so be careful paying for this service.
I was under an extremely tight timeline to get my passport renewed and I looked into this company at the recommendation of a friend who had used them years ago.
After filling out all the forms and paying them I received an email later that day that I needed to contact them to continue the process. I called early the next day and was only able to leave a message. I called again and again was only able to leave a message. No response. I used their "chat". Crickets. Someone finally called me back only to be told by that point they could not get me my passport on time. She asked if I wanted a refund. I said yes. I assumed I would get the refund in a timely manner. It's been weeks. I've been calling and leaving messages that no one returns. I now have my cc company and the better business bureau involved.
* update: I finally got an email back that they were processing my refund. Not sure if it was the involvement of my CC company or the BBB or just the accounting dept is very disorganized. Whatever the case the company was stressful to deal with.
Should have listened to the bad reviews and at this point am pretty convinced positive reviews are not real. Spent an exorbitant amount to expedite passport in 5 weeks to ensure I had plenty of time and wouldn't worry, starting the process with over two months of leeway. This "service" set me back and wasted so much time. Absolutely feel like an idiot for not just doing this direct with the gov. Company is near impossible to effectively get ahold of and inexplicably held on to my app for WEEKS before submitting. No proactive communication. I am actually unclear at all what I paid them hundreds for as I am now having to fly to another state emergently to try and make my trip. What a nightmare. We are well beyond the original travel date I gave the service and there has been zero proactive communication. No assistance whatsoever. No updates. I cannot recommend enough that you skip using them. Check out ALL of the bad reviews and believe them. You know a company doesn't stand by their own service when you can sign up easily online but in order to get a refund you have to fill out an emailed pdf that isn't even set up as a form and physically mail it in. They know how many people they don't serve and are playing a numbers game. RUN.
This was the worst service I have ever received in 63 years of my life. Waste of money for expedited service, which never happened. Fortunately, I did not wait for this office after waiting almost 5 weeks to deliver and made an urgent appointment with the Houston Passport agency and received my passport in 2 days, and was able to travel to India on March 6.
If I had waited for RushMyPassport to deliver, I would have lost 10K on my India tickets.
You are basically pay them to do the legwork for you:) You are paying someone to hand-deliver your paperwork! I found out about a trip out of the country TWO AND A HALF MONTHS before hand! I tried trush my passport and their customer service was really helpful. It was easy to print off the documents and they tell you exactly what you need! You basically put in your information and it automatically fills out the document completely for you. You only have to sign it. It also gives you step-by-step directions on how to prep the paperwork. When I called in the wait was not that long maybe 45 minutes to an hour and the person I spoke with was extremely helpful when I called back a second time the wait was a longer maybe twice as long but the second person was extremely helpful, the hardest part is finding an agency! (They have nothing to
Do with that btw) The rush my passport CS person literally went through maybe 10 sites that were all booked months out. She then gave me two that I had to actually call myself and luckily one of the sites was having a first come first serve workshop on a Saturday. I filled out all of my information and got it prep for that Saturday went to the agency and then mailed off it myself later that day. The courier had my documents on Monday. I received an email on that Friday stating my passport was on its way! It literally took 8 to 10 days for me. I would recommend this to anyone you do have to pay but sometimes it's just our situations but they make it super easy! Best of luck to you all!
Please do not choose this company. It is a total scam. They do not hand-deliver it. You mail it to them and West Palm Beach. They sit on it for a week and then via the United States post office not even FedEx they mailed them to Philadelphia. This company has cost me my honeymoon. Please don't make my mistake mailed in via USPS expedited and Call your congressman to help out.
We have a rush trip and paid the extra $$ to expedite it. I spoke with their rep over the phone as was assured no problem in getting passport in time. We FedExed the documents and they sent an email confirming receipt. 10 days later and we've gotten nothing. I've called and left messages. Sent texts through their system and NOTHING. No response. Zilch. It looks like some of their older reviews were pretty good. The new reviews all say horrible things. I suspect I've been scammed. Thinking of filing a police report at this juncture.
Choose the 5 week rush passport. Did not gave us any updates. Was never informed they had extended the weeks by 6 weeks and the check my passport took around twweeks before submitting my application. They later washed their hands and said they could not help, trying to call to get an apt and get it rushed, dont trust them I still dont know why i spend the extra 300 on
*They don't tell you you need to get an appointment at the post office!
*They falsely show pictures of fedex, but fedex doesn't provide passport certified agents.
*They have a 50 min average waiting time at call center.
*They are closed from Friday 5pm to monday 8pm good luck downloading your application!
Rush My Passport provides the minimum level of service, sketchy company rather than an outright scam. They do very little and charge a lot of money to do it, but sometimes a fistful of saved time means the difference between going on a trip and staying at home.
This was the case for us, anyway, when I had to get my passports. I booked a March trip to Paris, but only started the passport process in February after getting my USA oath ceremony, I was tight on time, and hired Rush My Passport in a panic.
For 7 days and $900 a passport, I got a some useful pre-written instructions. I needed to get an apointment at postal office and they where book 2 months in advance, I tried to get it at the Federal Building. (Guess what, they only accept medical emergencies). I couldn't download my application because they where closed Saturday and Sunday! So I lost 2 more days and had to rebook flight. The only US Postal appointment I could get was In Boise Tx, 80 miles away. The service I paid was for 7 days but they don't tell you you have to add non working days so I had to change my flight again.
Customer service was a piece of Sh… I waited 50mins every time I called and if you opt for call back they never call you. --you'd think for that amount of money, there'd be someone available at all times. Rush My Passport also doesn't mention that it can take weeks to get an application appointment at the post office, they 100% know and strategically fail to mention so prospective customers don't factor in that delay when deciding to part with their money. They of course do not help you get that appointment.

Unfortunately I made the mistake yesterday of ordering your expedited passport. I did not want to purchase it nor did I ever have the desire for an expedited passport. I am asking for a refund as soon as possible. It was made clear to me by FedEx workers that I could forego the postal office by using your services when that couldn't be further from the truth. 109$ was taken from my bank account and I am simply asking for a refund for a product I am not even able to utilize. I never proceeded forward as to complete the application and I have been in contact with you guys way before the 24 hour period making my situation very clear. So in no way should I be liable for the 109$ charge because I have already reached out to you guys via phone and via email.
Paid over $200 to RushMyPassport. The first part was easy. Downloaded the documents, filled in the info, got everything together to mail in the the government. Then I discovered there was no shipping label and NO way to get one. The man at Fed Ex said they have nothing to do with RMP. The post office said they couldn't help. Calling RushMyPassport is a total waste of time. No one answers or returns calls. I'm out over $400!
So I just finished my appt with the passport office and learned that I just threw money away. $160 too! Dont use them. My local gov passport office was super helpful and they said I shouldnt have used them as they also provide everything you need to get your passport. Hoping to get my money back.
I went through this company because they were affiliated with Fed Ex (if I were fed Ex I would distance myself from this company). There was no instructions on where to send my "completed Packet" which was literally a few pages that I could have filled out on my own. My order number is GW-3345C05BD. I am willing to change review with some sort of resolution. I have been on hold for a total of 3 hrs at this point, have left 3 messages and sent 2 emails and have not received a costumer service response.
They simply file the paperwork you provide. Take twenty minutes to figure out what you need to do so the State Department can send you the passport. If your trip to within two weeks, call the State Dept and get an appointment. Your money should be spent on getting your passport. Do not send these guys your money. I missed my trip. Three separate calls with in excess of three hours of holding time. Still no answers as to the delay. The last call ended with the CSR putting me on hold, then disconnecting the call.
