They will tell you of mistakes made in your application. Ex: "wrong country, double sided application form, check not made out exactly" as they instructed, etc.
Even tho your saved "copy" of the application does NOT have the "mistakes" they say you made. (Make copies of your forms) They then instruct you to send more money, "re-submit your application". And on and on. And it could take more weeks, more months and more time and money spent! It's been 5 months and I still don't have a new passport! Never use them again! Go to the Post Office for a Legitimate Application Form. Reported them to Better Business Bureau.

I would recommend to avoid this company. I paid them almost $700 to process my passport renewal on an expedited basis and sent them my original passport, completed passport renewal application and other required documents. Three days later I received a call from a stranger in a town 200 miles away, informing me that RushMyPassport had delivered my original passport, unprocessed renewal application and other documents to him. He knew the materials were personally sensitive, so he called the phone number on my application and sent the materials to me. The next day, I received a call from RushMyPassport informing me that they had lost my passport and advising me to replace it. I informed them that they sent my materials to a stranger, who returned them to me.

RushMyPassport made two very significant errors: After receiving my materials, instead of processing the extension, they sent my passport and unprocessed application, including my Social Security Number and other personal identifiers, to a stranger in another city. The stranger's intervention and integrity were the only reasons that their errors did not result in devastating personal consequences to me.

I raised these issues with the business, but they refuse to take any responsibility or even acknowledge the errors. Their internal processes are clearly not capable of handling sensitive personal identification information. Use them at your own risk.

They charge you the same amount as the US Department of State to do absolutely nothing! Just doubles the cost of your passport, they provide no service and have no customer service available.

I had an emergency trip and tried them out of desperation. Paid $409 for expedited passport in 7-9 days. The payment was cleared immediately, but no service was received. I couldn't even submit my online app. It was trying to load up for a day and a half. I had to spend an hour to get a person on the customer service, and still didn't get help. They said the website was malfunctioning. So I requested a refund. It's still processing. And I will have to use emergency government service to get my passport quick. Wasted so much time with them! If I would bother with them, I would make it ready in 3 weeks in courthouse for $35 fee photo included!

Please do not use this website it's not legit in any way. It presents like an affiliate of FedEx or the government but it absolutely is not.

THEY ARE NOT THE ONES THAT EXPEDITE THE PROCESS OR EXPEDITE SHIPPING BOTH TO AND FROM THE PROCESSING FACILITY - ALL OF WHICH YOU PAY SEPARATELY FOR DIRECTLY TO THE US SECRETARY OF STATE AND THE PASSPORT AGENCY ONLY.

This company literally does NOTHING maybe aside from typing in your answers for you to print instead of handwriting it on a DS-11 (or DS-82 for renewal) that is FREE AND EASY TO FIND (online, post office, passport facility) that you have to print out anyway.

Now here's a list of what it does NOT include:
-The form for someone who is divorced (which we found out we needed)
-Instructions to write the mother's maiden name so we had to fill out a new DS-11 anyway when we got to the passport agency (Just saying you're paying a whole lot for nothing, at least you could have clearer instructions)
-Instructions that he emergency contact cannot be someone you travel with (Makes sense, but if they were going to charge for nothing again.)
-The copy of your ID cannot be printed on two separate pages but that the front and back is required on one page
-Does NOT include the passport photo service or fees
-Does NOT include the expediting fees to send the applications faster
-Does NOT include fees to process the application faster
-Does NOT include fees to have your passports shipped overnight back to you
-You still have to go to a passport location in person to complete your signature and provide your ID (and where you pay your real expediting fees to)

Long story short, our County Clerk office said we are one of many people who have fallen for many of these companies out of desperation when, in fact, they have nothing to do with the solution- just taking credit for it. We were advised to report it to our bank for fraud to get our money back.

Terrible customer service. Please save your money and loads of stress and go to the post office. They charge a ridiculous amount of money for you to be on your own anyway.

I wish I could give it zero stars. Rush my passport is a scam. I was charged 260$ and I tried to go to rush my passport they were closed. I tried to call muilple times. I rush my passport representatives told me to go to post office and sumbit my application. Post office lady said I got scammed by rush my passport. They don't expedite passport. They take your money. And make application look pretty. Post office said rush my passport scams people. Avoid at all cost! You will loose your money

I paid for the service, waited and kept looking for updates, when I finally got through to some they had done absolutely nothing. Terrible customer service and a complete waste of time.

I had important visas in my old passport to I talked to them and they ASSURED me that I would receive my old passport back with the visas included. I also noted on the application that I am a frequent international traveler and was told that I would automatically receive the larger passport with more pages; neither of those things happened and now I will incur hundreds of dollars in expense and inconvenience to resolve the visa issue and there is nothing I can do about the small passport book!
