I gave a one-star review because the partnership with Fed Ex is a good idea but the execution on the part of Rush My Passport is terrible. From the beginning of my experience there have been issues with the Rush My Passport website simply not working. Try the chat feature to get help, but nobody responds. Call the phone number, nobody available on the weekend. Call during the week, but nobody answers and I had to leave a message. When you fill out the application, you're required to say when the documentation will arrive. I can't print my application because I'm being asked to call the phone number but nobody answers. Super frustrating when I'm paying a stupid amount money for this service.

There is nothing rush my passport does, aside from help you create a printout of the 2 pages of paperwork needed to submit. You can do that yourself on other websites for free. That is all they do and they charge $189.00. You still have to pay the US Dept the fees for the passport, the $35 for the assessment, and whatever fee tor your picture. It all gets mailed to the same place. They literally do nothing and have no part or bearing on getting your passport sooner. Its just a scam to make you think they can get it quicker, but you don't send any of the documents to them, they don't touch anything or have any part of processing your passport. Just go to one of the free sites to create your paperwork, its no different than paying $189 to use their website to do the same thing

I paid for 5 week expedited passport renewal. Passport package left LA on January 11th and arrived in West Palm Beach on January 13th. Then no further updates. Friday February 3rd I got a call from the New Orleans passport agency that they had my check but no application, no expired passport or photo. Only the check. Mind you the check had been inside my passport. I called RushMyPassport on Friday the guy told me to cancel my check then said he couldn't hear me and hung up. I called today waited on hold for 45 minutes spoke to a woman who put me on hold to see what was going on 10 minutes later she gets back on the phone and I hear her go " oh my volume isn't on" then nothing, I waited another ten minutes. The hold music was gone and she never came back. I called the New Orleans passport office and they advised I assume that the application and passport were stolen by RushMyPassport and fill out the necessary forms for a stolen passport. Here was my account number so you guys can look up how you let that happen. GW-C2680BA40. Also, the chat option doesn't work on your website.

Do not expect Rush My Passport to assist at the government level. Once they "take it in" for you, you are at the mercy of the government. When this takes place, and the government sends back the passport via USPS... the tracking is terrible. Rush My Passport isn't friendly either. Thumbs down.

Absolutely the worst customer service because there isn't any! Sent my passport to be renewed 3 weeks ago and they sent (1) one email regarding a return mailing issue that went straight to SPAM. They said that I had not signed the application (even though I did and had a scanned copy of it). I didn't notice their email until a couple of days ago when I happen to be cleaning up my mailbox and running a search to see if there was any follow up to my renewal.

I called over several days and never could speak to a live person. Was on hold for several hours in total, several times throughout the day. I even requested automatic callbacks (all of which never happened). I have a trip in early March and this company has majorly dropped the ball in their lack of communication, service, and follow-up. I even spent another $65 overnighting them another copy of a form they already had. Still no word. They have my old passport and passport card and I have zero information as to the status. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION. STAY AWAY! I hardly ever write a negative google review but this straight negligence on the part of rushmypassport.com. I will filing a complaint against this company under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices act if I do not hear back from the company today. - Eduard Kotlyarov, Jr., Esq.

On December 15th, 2022, my wife and I ordered updated passports. I chose to use Rush My Passport. My wife ordered directly from the Department of State. My wife's passport arrived two weeks before mine. So, In essence, I paid over $200 for a slower response time?!

From my experience, I cannot recommend Rush My Passport. I recommend going directly to the federal government (I can't believe I am saying this).

I submitted my renewal 11/29/2022, it has been 7 weeks and I've heard nothing! I have a trip coming up on 2/10 and am really regretting using this service. Nobody can tell me the status and I'm worried it won't even come in time. I paid for expedited service that said it should be no more than 5 weeks. It's been 7! This is ridiculous. Can someone please help me?

I had no idea howto renew my expired Passport. A customer service from Fed called me person when I was searching online, but was in the car when she called. She said I can go to Fed Ex do the full passport application their they do it all. Well I didn't look up anything further went their after she called,sat down on the computer started the process and completed it,never saw any fee's except the ones I chose for slower delivery and lower cost being $130 plus another fee bringing it to $147 with tax, for 8 weeks delivery of passport. Ok all good, no it wasn't, photo costs $16 if fed ex does it, then you have to enclose another $203 check or money order government fee. Out the door fee's are $350. Here's the thing I had no idea when doing this application on the site it was only an expedited passport site, you have to pay those fee's for that only. So I didn't need any of that. I never was told any of this and didn't see this when filling out the application at Fed Ex., nor did I see any upfront fee's for expedited application with this website. If you get on to their site you will find all that out,not at the Fed ex if you just walk in to do a passport application? I wasn't told this on the phone by Fed Customer service either. Now my daughter made me aware of what this was. So now i need a refund to start the process all over again online.My point be careful just walking into fed Ex to think you can do an ordinary Passport application, you can't it's on expedited and expensive.

SCAM - DO NOT USE. THEY HAVE A 1/5 RATING ON BBB. Please research. DO NOT BELIEVE ANY TESTIMONIALS THAT ARE GOOD. I GIVE ZERO STARS.

I FOLLOWED UP DAILY FOR ONE WEEK EXPEDITED SERVICE, WAS TOLD THERE WAS AN ISSUE ONE DAY PRIOR TO DELIVERY DATE DESPITE CALLING DAILY PRIOR. NO RESOLUTION ASIDE FROM GETTING MY PASSPORT DELIVERED AFTER TRAVEL DATE. WHEN ASKING FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON WHY APPLICATION WAS DELAYED/REJECTED, THEY PASS BACK TO DEPT OF STATE AND INDICATE YOUR APPLICATION PASSED ALL CHECKS ON "RUSH MY PASSPORT" ONLY TO GET DINGED BY DEPT OF STATE. CLEARLY THIS AGENCY HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND RIPS PEOPLE OFF.

Save your money because these people don't rush anything. And when you call all they do is refer you to the government agency. They have the easiest job, everything is no or I don't know.

It is a scam company! They took my money and ran! All there positive reviews are lies. They probably found a way to funnel out all the real reviews with these so called "Positive" reviews. I fell victim to it and don't want others to as well! So please save your money and just go through the post office!

We had about a month's notice on a vacation, and my boyfriend did not have a passport. I tracked this site down. Four stars is because it is very confusing, it makes it sounds like Fed ex walks you through it. Uh-no. And the call center knows even less. I finally got a young lady named Aliah from Florida on the phone, she was so patient and nice, and walked me through the whole thing. I honestly was going to cancel my vacation it was getting so frustrating. She better be promoted to CEO! I did have his passport in the two weeks promised.

I created an account to get started. The online process asked me questions and pre-filled the info on the passport application. Found out later, I could have done that myself for free instead of paying $109 to download the pre-filled application. The video on the website showed how their process works. It showed that FedEx takes the photo and handles the application and shipping process, all included. That was not true at all! I had to make an appt with an authorized agent (which took several weeks post office near me was booked out) plus I had to pay an extra $16 for my passport photo. I had my photo done at Walgreens since it was no difference in the fee that FedEx charged. FedEx did absolutely nothing. So, I would agree with other Reviewers, this appears to be a scam and I'll be reporting to BBB if my money isn't refunded. Times are too hard to be scamming people out of their hard earned money. (Paying the separate government fee was not an issue because the website did advise that.)

I had a passport application sent to them 8/17/22 and I STILL don't have my passport, despite paying extra for expedited service. I have to get my tickets ASAP and it's taking them forever!

I got my passport faster than the estimated time. I was able to make my trip without any issues. I would recommend rush my passport for their expedited services.
