Ordered parts to rebuild brake calipers on 1966 mustang and seals fit in housing, boots were wrong. They would not take them back because i fit the seals into the housing and when i tried the boots they would not fit. Never assembled the calipers but they refused to take them back and closed my account. Horrible customer svc, DONT BUY FROM THEM! Old seals that fit on the right, new WRONG seal on left.

Horrible service

They sell you the incorrect parts. Refuse to help, refuse to give refunds i verified with photos that the part sent was incorrect and was told it was correct. I sent them my vin # and part number i needed and received the incorrect part 3 times costing me $100 in shipping and $300+ overall and now i have 2 sets of incorrect balljoints

I paid extra to have my part for my customer delivered on a certain date and it had been 4 days since that date and when i contacted rockauto to file a complaint and asked for my shipping money back they denied me and would not let me speak to a manager about the issue. What kind of company does not have a phone number to call for customer service?

Beware!

I seen a picture of an A/C condenser that I was looking for so I ordered it. What I received was a completely different part. It was a smaller aftermarket part that looks nothing like the picture. When I tried to send it back, they said that they would refund the part but not the shipping cost. I can see if I just didn't want to part or ordered the wrong part, but it was a completely different part and look nothing like the picture. The first picture is what I ordered and the second picture is what I received. This is a scam and fraud.

Cheaply made parts.

Ordered a reservoir for a Volvo, it split at seam within a week. Sent it back got another, same thing. Got a credit no refund. Just went to a junkyard and got one for a fraction of the price, no problem.

A Scam

Made my order which they accepted, paid an extra $61,36 for next day delivery. Parts were never delivered. Called about 20 times and was put on hold for ever. They kept telling me order was being processed. That was June 6th. On June 19th, my credit card was credited a refund. And no explanation and no parts'

I returned a part which was ok but apparently the box got ripped up do I lost out on the money and they will not return the part I ordered and returned, because it was the wrong one, unless I pay 8 dollars. It isn't much but since they oretty mych robbed my $200, you would think they would pay to return it. I paid so much to send it back from Canada as well. Not happy with the place and I pent thousands here, first issue with a part only to get ripped off

Terrible service

Just purchased and installed a Powerstop brake kit. After 2 weeks the front rotors are pulsating on highway. Rock auto won't warranty them and say it my fault. What a joke. Never use them again

Rock auto sent me a part that does not fit my auto, Then tells me they will not ship a part that will work or a shipping label to return part. But tell me I do not get any refund on shipping or part. So I have to pay for the wrong part and the shipping of the item both ways with zero refund GOOD LUCK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Rock auto might have low prices, but there is absolutely no customer service. I bought a part from them and the part was nothing like what I was replacing and it was nothing like what was pictured in the instructions. If you end up having to return the item YOU will be paying the freight. You will also be at their mercy as to whether they will refund your money. STAY AWAY!

They are incompetent, deceptive and will not refund money for wrong parts plus shipping even though the parts they shipped were not even close to the right parts. Fortunately, the cost was not too much and this was the only time I ordered from them - AND WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I filed a complaint with BBB to no avail! Even through BBB they had no reasonable resolution. A pathetic business!

I have recently ordered several parts for my 05 gmc truck from rock auto and my experience has been second to none... awesome service, prices and outstanding shipping. I live in New Zealand down under and the last 3 orders have arrived from USA to my door via FedEx in 4-6 days. Unbelievable to be fair. Local internal shipping within nz takes longer than that... 10 out of 10 to ROCKAUTO

They offer no customer service for warranty. If it's past 30 days they tell you to go to their site and request it, but it doesn't work. If you call them, they tell you to go to their site and they won't help you. I had one part replaced and got another junk part. Now they won't refund the cost of the junk part.

I ordered two sets of a right and left (drivers' side) replacement windshield washer tube replacement.
I received TWO RIGHTS and no Lefts, Part # *******.
Rock Auto used DORMAN PRODUCTS who apparently, like ROCKAUTO, have no care or concern for quality control or customer satisfaction.
The water tube portion is too small to fit over the OEM water supply.
Unable to contact RockAuto customer service via telephone.
IMHO, NEVER USE ROCK AUTO BECAUSE THEY'RE ABOUT TAKING OUR MONEY AND THE CUSTOMERS BE DAMNED.

Had two sets of Monroe Quick Struts that were defective when installed. Rock Auto will not refund money. Only offer up third set of junk parts if I pay shipping. RockAuto has no customer support! What you see in their 90's website is all there is! No one to call or email if there's a problem. I've ordered dozens of times from RockAuto, and finally got burned to the tune of $323. That wipes out any savings I may have gotten from past purchases. I went with OEM parts from Honda instead. Anyone want some crappy Monroe Struts? My policy is the same as RockAuto - Buyer beware! You might as well be buying off of Craigslist!

We can Not get a refund for these Runners that are to SMALL! We didn't make the mistake they did! We are in a pandemic, we ordered these runners for this truck & received them just before our State SHUT DOWN! Here my parents are out $200.00 for runners they CAN NOT USE! And who is going to buy them for that much when people are losing there JOBS! THERE RIP OFFS!
