Ordered an ACDelco alternator a couple of months ago and it works fine. Followed instructions to send back core. They haven't refunded the core charge yet telling us that we didn't send the core back in the ACDelco box, but it came in a plain box and there was no ACDelco box with a UPC like they claim. Customer service is awful. I'm going through the BBB now to try to make this right and RockAuto is still denying their mistake. Don't shop there. They were good 10 years ago, not anymore.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Tried to cancel order 10 minutes after I made it, impossible! Website said it was already shipped. BS! No one to call, no cancel order tab on website. I'd rather pay full price at dealer than deal with these people!

I ordered the part for my car a 2003 Jetta the part came in wrong but yet this is the part that is indicated by everyone else that belongs there. Who can I talk@ rockauto to about returning this part about correcting the issue that there is that it's the wrong part who can I talk to where can I call for help. This is not what you call good service The bad taste of poor serviced last longer than the great price you have.

Order shocks for my 73 charger. They sent the wrong ones. Thay wanted me to pay for return. Customer service is no good. Not able to talk to a real person. Will never order from them again.

Refused to take back a return that was over 30 days old cause they where the wrong parts and i was in the hospital and didn't know it till I got out and to top it off its during a pandemic of all things so now I have to buy the correct parts and have parts I don't need shame treat people like this

Ordered front brake rotors for a 2007 Impala, several options, selected the Raybestos from Rock Auto. Once they arrived, could see they were not right. Went to start a return. Because the part number I ordered matched what I received, I can send them back for a refund, minus shipping. Did some research including checking Raybestos parts numbers, discover they are REAR rotors, not front, and are mislabeled on RockAuto site. So no part to complete job, have to send these back (live in a rural area, no local FedEx), and it is going to cost me the freight. No useful customer service, no help resolving and now my customer is unhappy.

Absolutely no customer service. How much time I wasted just looking for a way to simply email them since I have no way to phone them other than Corporate nbr. *******288. All unhappy customers should bombard Corporate offices with their dissatisfaction. Cannot believe they are still in business. Never again will I order from them!

Nine days to get WRONG Part. Then they want ME to pay return shipping. You can't talk to a real person EVER. This will be the LAST time I EVER purchase ANYTHING from them! I will be sure to let EVERYONE know!

Hope you dont need help

I have ordered other things on there and never had a problem but I think a company should be judged on how they act when there is a problem. So here's the problem I ordered headlights and of November the tracking shows it's sitting somewhere in Philadelphia been sitting in one place for 10 days now there on the answer is wait till the 24th there is no one to speak to everything's automated and done through emails. In fact the corporate offices do not even take messages.

Hit or miss

I bought a rack and pinion from them and it leaked around the driver side inner tie rod. Pulled it back out sent it back and I think they sent the same one back. Same leak same place same problem. That's just the straw that broke the camels back. There have been other problems. All China parts and machine work is off on a lot of it. Done!

No customer service

I ordered a power steering pump with pulley, they sent me a pump that will fit but no pulley. Although they charged me for the pump with pulley, the part # on invoice is for the cheaper pump without. No options to correct this except to pay shipping to return and shipping for correct part. I'll never order another part from them due to lack of customer service.

Loyal Customer No More

For years I would use RockAuto for all of my automotive needs. They were my go-to source without hesitation. Until recently when I ordered a prop shaft/driveshaft for my shakerado. The part wouldn't fit properly so I repackaged it and set up a return for a refund. I taped both of the bearing caps to the yoke but RockAuto said one was missing, so therefore will not provide a refund. I should have taken a photo for proof but now it's "my word vs there's". So I pretty much gave them a $250 donation.

They're return policy is super shady. I will use CarParts.com for all future automotive needs.

Let me tell you I have been ordering from this company for over 2 years now and they are exceptional! Yesterday December 15th I ordered an exhaust for my plow truck with a big storm pending today and to my surprise it showed up first thing this morning wow! Now typically everything arrives in 3 days. Rock Auto my back thanks you and I thank you for the great service over the past few years. I will be a lifetime customer!

I placed an order for a part and as soon as I submitted the order my card was charged but Rock Auto said it didn't go through cause of my billing address was different from shipping address. So after a half hr. Trying to find where I could make the changes on Rock Auto website, I resubmitted the order and same thing happened, charged my card and order didn't go through. Now I have hold on my money cause of this and still no part coming. The money they're making they should be able to hire a customer service where you can actually talk to somebody other than the cheap $#*! email only system they have in place. Will not even try to buy something from then again!

Bad fuel pumps

Purchasted a new brute power fuel pump, was supossed to be good quality economy part, not so, the in pump fuel regulator failed with in a week, no fuel pressure unless the truck is actualy running, they want me to pay for a new one, with return shipping untill they aprove that the unit failed, BS, F that I'll pay extra just for not dealing with $#*!hole peeps.

I ordered 8 new Mopar fuel injectors for my 2003 Dodge B3500 Ram Van. Pulled the fuel rail, cleaned everything up and started installing the new injectors. Got to the 7th one and discovered (less than an hour from having the van back on the road) that the 7th Mopar box (correct part number) had a clearly used Bosch injector in it. Damn it! Now that van is down for a week while Rock Auto resolves this screw up!

Last three orders in past three weeks, two of the orders never left the warehouse, their lame customer service, automated, you can't get your money back until you submit a claim and then you have to wait another week to cancel order, then two to three business days for refund, not worth it anymore

I purchased a Valeo brand alternator from Rock Auto. Brand new with a 30 day warranty due to closeout it says. It last about 2 days and I didn't contact before 30 days. No Rockauto return and no Mfg warranty. No chat or phone number for support and a bewildering automated return process.

Sent wrong part.

Sent wrong part. Very difficult return process and only 30 days to do so. Tried returning part but had to go to library to print off. With covid and busy at work that was hard to do. Now im stuck with $180 loss and useless part. I will never use them again. Amazon is way easier.
