I wished I would have checked their feedback ratings here BEFORE placing my order with this company! I opted for upgraded 2-day shipping and have yet to receive my order. After I searched the Internet for a company e-mail address that was not provided on their own Website, I contacted them and was told that if the package wasn't delivered in a week to contact them again. No offer to refund for the upgraded, more expensive shipping, no offer to help track the package, no apology for anything for that matter. Do yourself a favor and avoid these incompetent idiots like you would the Corona Virus and you'll be glad that you did!

I ordered two (2) brake cylinders to be delivered, and was charged a delivery fee. They put the parts in a plastic envelope and when it arrived, it was empty (except for the receipt). It has been a hassle to get a replacement or refund, and looks like I will eat the transaction. They have no customer service person to speak with, and solely rely on a website which is somewhat confusing. I have never left a bad review for any business, however I give the a big "F" for FAIL!

My name is John Travis and my email jtravis@ and you got my phone number feel free to call me. I had used RockAuto years ago but now I will never use them again I bought a water pump for my Chevy Blazer rebuild and as I was putting on a hose one of the tubes which was glued in to a Smooth Bore came loose in my hand I tried to call no number tried to return it 59 days old no returns so now I have a brand new piece of $#*! assuming the rest of their parts and service are the same there is no way I will ever buy from them again I wish I'd check the reviews and saw their less than two-star rating and I would not have bought them in the first place the money I saved it was very little if I bought this in town or from another website they would have at least talked to me this is ridiculously cheap piece of crap I doubt very seriously this company will be in business much longer I do agree they would have to keep costs down because the amount of telephone workers to answer all the complaints would be phenomenal pure junk I included a photo with a piece of the glue still lying on the pipe yeah that's how much they had on it and who the heck glues a pipe into a water pump anyhow

Bad returns.

I ordered a series of brake parts, (1) part was to come on the same day as the rest of them but from a different location, however it arrived 9 days later than the other parts, (a total of 14 days) I couldn't wait for the part any longer for the part and had to purchase it locally. When I went to return the late part I had to pay for the shipping, so I ended up paying for the shipping both ways. It would have been cheaper just to buy all the parts it locally, which is what I will do next time.

Returns

It is very very difficult to try to navigate through the website to do a return.
I ordered calipers for my 2002 Jeep evidently whatever moron ran the Jeep corporation that year decided two different times to change the caliper he was having installed on that model.
And RockAuto I found it during trying to return the calipers that some of the links to do the return don't even work

Poorly made junk!

Order lower control arms for 09 Jeep Patriot. Selected the Ultra Power ones that RockAuto has a heart symbol next to indicating high seller. What pieces of garbage! Stock unit had 1inch of clearance from front bushing to the bracket. Ultra Crap had.75inch of clearance resulting in them hitting the frame. My mistake for not comparing prior to trying to install. Front bushing on one was not pressed in all the way, flush on the front and.25inch hanging out the back. Last time I try to save a few pennies trying to order their substandard parts.

RockAuto has been my go to place for auto parts. It is simple to find parts, prices are half if not lower than big name stores, shipping is always on time. In three years and at least 20 orders, never had a problem.

Go to a real store where they have real people to help you. I was trying to get the right part, though there is no customer service available -- not even a phone number anywhere on their order page. Call them and they tell you in the recording that they do not offer customer service through phone. When I tried to return the part, I was given an automatic rejection with no opportunity to speak with anyone and describe the problem. They obviously didn't care.

I've bought from Rock a few times they give you different different level parts for the part your looking for from economy to performance including OEM. Never had a problem at all. No recently I went to advance auto for a tail pipe for my 2008 Tahoe. First he comes out and says I don't think you can get just a tail pipe you have to buy the whole system. Getting annoyed already I gave him a look and he says well let me look. So 258.00 later it will be here on the 7th of December. That day was the 3rd. 7 the came and went finally by the 10th in the evening I ordered one from Rock Auto and low and behold it was delivered on the 12 th a day early actually and total price with shipping was 120.00 I chose the part and new who the manufacturer was. Sunday the 11th I cancelled the order from Advance.

Ordered a ZUMBROTA RMT3500D5 Remanufactured transmision. After 1 year the syncros in second gear failed (grinding when shifting into 2nd). I had moved since I ordered the transmission and I could not return the transmission unless I purchased a new one, and warrantied that one? Purchased a new one, and installed. The NEW remanufactured transmission will not stay in 3rd gear (pops out). Having to return this one also. Each shipment is costing me $200 is shipping fees as Rock auto does not cover that.

I'll never use them again.

Over the last 5 years, I have never been disappointed in their parts. If you order the wrong part they still honor a return. I've had nothing but good luck with this company! I will continue as my first to contact... They are reasonably priced and quick to return if you ordered the wrong part! Than you Rock Auto!

Warranty issue

I purchased a motorcraft cv axle for a 2010 Ford edge. 4 months later I hear a grinding noise from the front. The metal clamp came off rubber boot leaked the grease out and let dirt in. They say to reorder part pay for it and 1/2 the return shipping is on them and then they'll reimburse for part. Well I'm on the road and paying for a week or more of motels isn't happening. I've used RA for over a decade will never buy from them again. Screw me we'll screw U

Mini Cooper brakes

I have no problem with ordering or delivery. It has to do with returns. It is a plain Jane mini. The brake they sent were definitely to large for the mini. Maybe for an S or at wagon. After giving answering a bunch of dumb questions. They said the can't have them returned. Because it cost more to return then I paid... Ahhh this was because I wanted a refund. But if I got a replacement it was no problem. But as it was my nephew's brake were so bad that I got pads and rotors locally. With it apart I had no choice. But to do that. I don't need a replacement set. So beware of what u order from this company. I am finished with them. Will pay a little more for local parts..

Extremely unprofessional company. As I write this review I have been waiting for 2 weeks for a part. When I contacted customer support, in short, they told me to get lost. And this isn't the first time I have had an issue that was dismissed because they tried to put the blame on me.

Right part wrong wiring for Kia Rio

I know I ordered an aftermarket part for my d'auteurs Kia Rio SX 2013. I ordered the passenger mirror, auto fold, blinker and electric mirror.
The par fits but the wiring was wrong it opened instead of folding, i wanted to adjust up-down-left-right and all was wrong.
Poor customer service… none… can not even ask a technical question on their site.
I ended up rewiring it properly and now it works.
If you aren't a mechanic with skills, do not order from them.

Crappy customer service.

I ordered a part from them using the part number from the original part. They sent me the wrong starter and now refuse to refund me for anything but the core charge. Terrible company. Do not buy anything from them. The dirty starter is the old one with a round electrical connector. The new one is a square connection.

Good and bad

1. I ordered 2 headlights for my Kia Sorento. One was faulty. The return process went as well as can be expected. Turn-around was only about 4 days.
2. Ashley from Customer Service refused to give me the corporate phone number when I asked her for it. I'd called it before, but lost track of it and all she had to say is "The phone number you called, when you left your message is our corporate office". I responded that I make lots of calls and I'd like the number again. She closed the ticket without ever telling me the number.

I'll be looking for a better online store with regard to customer service.

I should have read all of the reviews. Ordered a part, they sent the wrong one, paid for the label sent it back. They emailed and said I sent back the wrong part. No crap you idiots sent me the wrong part. Worst company EVER, steer clear of these scammers.

I've bought many parts over the years from Rockauto. I never had a problem, until now. I have an 07 Nissan Versa. I just spent over $2200 in parts on this car through Rockauto. One of the new wheel bearings I purchased and Installed crapped out after a week. The warranty WAS NOT HONORED. Now the clutch slave cylinder that took 90% of the work (because you have to pull the entire engine and transmission to change it) just crapped out after 3 months. I haven't contacted them YET. But needless to say I am pissed. I will NEVER purchase from this half assed company again. Word to the wise, you get what you pay for. Rockauto is so cheap because they sell TRASH.
P.S.i would have rated lower if possible.
