In ordering a part from this company the part sent was wrong. In contacting the company they knew the part was incorrect before they sent it. In returning the part the system for Rock Auto would not allow me to print a return shipping label. I had to return on my own with UPS costing me over $15.00. This was confirmed via phone call they made to me to return all of my funds in full for my shipping costs back to them. Today I get an email they will only return half the funds? This is lousy customer service. Tell your customer one thing then do something else that benefits the company and not the customer.
No contact number the customer service online wasn't helpful they just wasting youre time on going to their help support that non sense i will not recommend this $#*!ing company they give me a tracking number for dhl that doesn't exist $#*! you Rockauto the 1 star for rate is nothing its just because the computer required me to hit the star because for me you are negative there should be an option for that
I ordered an engine and transmission mount kit. The transmission mount would not accept the factory bolt because it was too long for the new mount. One motor mount was rusted out of the box and the other had a damaged seal and no hydraulic fluid in it. Reordered the engine mounts and received one good one and one that looked like it was stamped wrong at the factory. The dimensions were not even close. I just sent back for a refund and will never order from them again. Wish I would have read these reviews first.
I ordered a couple air filters for my car, they didn't fit. I sent them back and they said both of them showed signs of damage and installation. I knew right away it wouldn't fit so I didn't even try to install it, the other I didn't even open. Not only are they refusing to issue a refund, they add insult to injury by offering to send the parts back to me at my expense. They lost me as a customer. Never again!
I placed an order for brake pads and rotors. The package arrived late and incomplete. I received the rotors but no brake pads. I should've listened to my gut when I read their reviews. I tried to call them for support with no luck. If you are unfortunate enough to order from them you will have no support.
People are wrong in saying that there is no contact company phone number, and address. It's there inside the website. I'm guessing they have no website search skills. Every purchase I made. If a part is faulty right out of the box. Returns for exchange or credit are always fast and easy. Never have I ever had a problem with my purchases from Rock Auto. Rock Auto is an independent auto parts company. They also partner with other auto part dealers that are commonly used daily. Like (Carid, Partsgeek, and other online estores). This is why the shipping is sent from different locations, duh! Before you criticize the best online auto parts store. Get your facts straight. Improve you search skills. Chill your bad attitude. Go back to school and if you don't approve. Shop amaz also known as the black market. Fake bootlegged auto parts.
I paid extra to have this item sent as early as possible. It comes 6 days late and then they have no way of composition to make it right with me! I have ordered from them a lot! (Which has always been early) & 1 the one time they are not…they are not even willing to make it right with me…that is such a disappointment to me! Everyone in this world is out of control! 1 time out of 10 in disappointment… don't know what I will choose?
Ordered a few parts for my vehicle and paid extra for FedEx shipping so I would have parts a few days sooner. FedEx never received the parts to ship until 5 days later and then it was 2 more days before I received them which was 4 days later than estimated. The tracking info they provided did not lead to info until a day before I received my parts. Now they I did not pay for expedited shipping just paid more for FedEx ground instead of USPS. $26 extra to receive my parts later then USPS. Of course they handle all of their complaints online because if someone could see the crooks ripping them off they would be able to identify them for legal purposes. Stay Away from this company. No regard for hard working peoples money.
I brought rotors for my Vehicle from Rockauto. They rusted in a few weeks. I sent it back for a replacement and they sent the wrong parts three times in a row. My Vehicle prompts were sent for the right rotor, however they sent the wrong part again and again. Terrible service.
The caliper I ordered was stated to include the necessary hardware. It was not included, though their website said it would have been included. To return a part is at your own expense even if it is their mistake!
I ordered a fuel line from these guys. I even paid for shipping. After waiting a week to recieve it, the fuel line was packaged wrong, and when I received it, the line was bent in half and frayed. I immediately sent it back, however, I'm having to wait another week for the fuel line to come back in. I DO NOT recommend this company if you are running a business. Absolutely appalled that they have zero customer service and are refusing to expedite the package. This is costing me money every day the fuel line isn't here.
Fast shipping and direct fit to my 2015 Tahoe LTZ 2wd. Great product, very satisfy with easy fit with no problems. My vehicle front struts replacement and ride is like new. Not to mention price was incredible compare to other auto part stores. Way less.

Ordered a specific part number from a specific manufacturer but RA opted to send me a different part number from a different manufacturer. I did not want this product from the other manufacturer, otherwise, I would have ordered it. RA wants me to pay for return shipping after already paying shipping to have the product sent to me.
I previously had positive thoughts about rockayto.com but this last effort unspeakable. Ordered 2 tie rod ends, paid for 2 tie rod ends, received 2 tie rod ends. The problem? They were not the same part. Called the warehouse that shipped them, Parts Authority out of Huron, OH. They transferred me to rockauto. Rockauto said to return both tie rod ends and they would ship replacements next day delivery. Got the package 2 days later with 1 tie rod end, and the wrong one at that. Called Parts Authority again and was told to contact rockauto online and they couldn't transfer my call. I ended get the right parts locally at a better price. We'll see how the refund goes but never again will I order from rockauto.com!
Buyer beware This company makes you pay for shipping and return shipping This is how they're making their money they have no customer service by telephone. That lets me know they really don't care about their customer because they can't face the music when somebody's upset about how much money they return you when you do a refund.
After using the services of Rockauto for several years, I will no longer be a customer. While everyone knows of their poor return policy, I recently had an item not show up. Customer service simply blew me off. Basically stating the issue of non delivery was my fault.
The box was beat up and had holes in it and when it was opened the parts were falling out and the part itself is broken. Idk how that happens but DO BETTER.!

I ordered a hub assembly Sunday, Jan 1,2023. Said I would receive on Jan 4,2023. Checked tracking and it move to Jan 5. Checked email on Jan 5 and it was being held at a facility and would recieve today. Got part today, opened it and it was damaged.
I have had the company send wrong parts on multiple occasions and getting in touch with them is almost impossible. Not only that, they want to charge you a return fee or only give a partial refund. The last straw for me, that I am currently dealing with, I ordered about $600 in parts for a customers vehicle. I had to delay here vehicle getting fixed because the parts never arrived and now rockauto wants me to wait over 10 days so they can contact the carrier before they will give me a refund. If they had a number I could call and tell them I've already done that and the carrier has said it is lost and to contact them. So now I had to spend additional money to get this part for the customer and I still don't know if I will get the full refund back from rockauto because they seem to almost be boarder line of a scam, almost like ordering something from China. You never know what you are going to get.
I ordered i couple of parts from them. Got them all correct. One of the calipers had a bust thread. Requested the refund and it all went down smoothly in less than a day after I shipped the part back.
