I ordered a part I need because my truck is down. When I placed my order it shows delivery in 5 days, 3 days if I paid more. So 5 days is acceptable but now after paying and completing the order I see tracking shows 10 days because they chose DHL. Had I known they don't care about how fast you get your parts I would have shopped elsewhere. Never again will I use rockauto
I ordered part and was told they would be here today and at the end of the day fed ex sent me an email saying they tried to deliver my parts and nobody was there I was out front waiting for them I called them and FedEx acknowledge they lied and said it wouldn't be until Monday that I would get my parts when I needed them today you both suck
Horrible customer service, they sent me used parts that had been returned to them. They were to lazy to inspect them before putting them back into inventory. Multiple attempts to get someone to help with very little response. After emailing back and forth beging them to help, they closed the case and blocked my emails. SHOP ELSE WHERE, SAVE YOUR MONEY
I paid for a pair of Power Stop heavy duty drilled/slotted rotors for my F250. I left enough days to install them, before a road-trip. They sent one? They don't have a phone number...BAD sign. I used their email, and received a boiler plate BS reply. I asked that they expedite the shipping, because this was THEIR mistake and we had already booked our hotels. They stopped replying to my emails, after sending the same: "We'll send a replacement via ground" reply 3 times. Replacement? They never sent a pair!
I will never use these A-holes again.
Great service, good website, identified the correct parts easily, ordered on line and parts arrived in Australia 8 days later. Great pricing and prompt service. What more could you askfor?
Zero customer service. Unable to speak to anyone. No way to email them outside of their asinine web forms.
Part was defective, caused the car to breakdown, overheat and get towed. Pretty sure it fried the engine. Mechanic proved beyond a doubt that it was caused by the defective intake manifold they sent.
No way to communicate with them, no phone no chat. If you need help it's not there so customer service is non existent. Shipping is outlandishly high, sometime it's $70 for small parts to Canada. And you get the longest shipping times in the industry.

Checked RockAuto website order status two days later which indicated parts had shipped and gave FedEx tracking #….…..great!

I get email and text from RockAuto stating I need to go to website and FINISH a "part return request" to get a refund for my parts that are now at return warehouse………. Confusing but interesting,
Dutifully, I go back to RockAuto website and enter the returns and problem icon, of course there's no block to check "I didn't request a parts return", so I "have not received parts" which directed me to "look at your tracking number the carrier's delivery date" ( which indicated parts not shipped and delivery "pending)……….lesson learned - go thru Amazon, Walmart!

Purchased brake pads which did not fit my car. The fitment listing is incorrect on their website. Returned pads for refund but Rock Auto does not refund shipping even when error is theirs. Their error cost me $12.83.

I ordered 2 headlights that were rare to find. RockAuto's site stated in stock and I even matched part numbers. They were indeed wrong as listed. I returned and they refused to reimburse me stating that they were damaged. I stated it's hard to believe considering one wasn't even taken out of the box and I returned in the same packages they were shipped in. I requested photos of thus "damage". To no avail. I called my credit card co. And told them to take back the money. Rock Auto refused and recharged the card after money was taken out. I emailed them and said to ship the headlights back to me and told the fee would be roughly $10. I have them the $10 and never received them.
I then re-called the credit card company to make another dispute. RockAuto then stated I didn't pay them the $10 in the right amount of time. I said, but you still took the $10. The was approx. $700 that is gone. This company sucks.
Purchased a left and right front bumper cover support brackets for a 2016 Honda. Parts came in two separate boxes which I paid $9.85 for shipping. Parts weigh less than a half of a pound together. Parts are made in Twain have the correct part numbers but to not fit. They are about 2 inches too long. When I went to exchange the parts for the still needed correct parts, I had to pay $4.88 in shipping! For their mistake. Plus one part only cost $3.88, and during the return website process they will not take the part back or issue my refund because "the part cost less than the shipping cost." So they will not issue me a refund for it. If my local parts store had sent me the incorrect parts, I guarantee they would have given me a FULL refund and not charged me for the shipping! Typical online only company with no customers service.
I recently broke down in the middle of traffic to find out my fuel pump had gone out! We were able to get a fuel pump and a fuel filter in 2 days from RockAuto for half the price of what we would have paid at a local parts store. That even included the shipping! All the local part stores were almost a week out on getting the parts in plus charging twice as much! I had reservations because of the low ratings for this online store... But boy did they prove me wrong! And I'm so glad they did! Happy customer right here... for life!
I discovered rock auto many years ago. I needed sruts for my van and auto zone and advanced auto price was 199.99 just for one strut. I got 2 name brand struts from rock auto for the price of on strut. They have great stuff and are helpful. I refer my friends to them. 5 stars guys.
Rockauto used to be a great place to shop but since they eliminitated direct contact phone or chat is terrible.
Sent wrong parts, had to pay to return, no customer service, will never deal with this company again
Their return depart is not recertifying returned parts are correct. Twice now I've received incorrect parts shipped to me wrapped in the "correct" packaging. Prior customers are swapping out the correct part and returning crap or less expensive part. Guess who ends up receiving this crap? You and me!
No way to talk to corp. What business doesn't want to hear from customers to know how to make biz better? Tells you all you need to know.

An order was placed and the address was incorrect. The order was not refunded correctly and it was in their favor. You'll see if it happens to you. Good luck. I've blacklisted them as a supplier for parts. Buyer Beware.
My husband ordered a specific Cadillac converter for the passenger side which is labeled as bank 2 in every website researching the part, well this company for some reason has bank 2 as the driver side so of course sent wrong part, we only wanted the correct part but of course no customer service to speak with so we had to return the part,pay for the return label. When refunded they didn't refund our 35.00 shipping fee. So basically paid 60.00 for absolutely nothing. I have no idea how this place isn't shut down so many customer complaints and dissatisfied customers outweigh the satisfied. Just horrible...
Ordered the front left window regular (Driver's Side) for 1 2013 Ford Escape & received the wrong part. No chance of returning it & no phone number to call. What kind of business is allowed to operate like this? Order # *******. It's now saying since it's past 30 days, nothing can be done. I guess I'll just throw away this new Window Regulator & lose the $85.00. :(
