Ordered a part while on vacation several hours away from home to be installed before we left. Paid for 2 day shipping to have this part in time to install so we could leave from our vacation. It did not arrive in time. It took 5 days when I paid extra for 2 day delivery. I can't call or even chat with someone online. I will NEVER order from Rick Auto again! And this is being shared to my social media page to warn others.
Bought a new AC Delco starter for my 1972 chevy. 88 days later it died just quit working. After a week of trying to get a hold of someone my answer came back. "It's out of warranty now" I said it wasn't when I first contacted you. I got the so sad to bad, do you want to buy another one? I hats where I'm going from now on.

Part came 2 weeks later and the same maybe keep it for future use. Will not refund shipping for a part that arrived 2 week late.
Order spurk plugs paid for faster shipment by yuly 29 order still not in,nowhere to call or contact rockauto.
This morning I have tried numerous (3) times to order parts, including using two completely different bank cards with each having much more than enough to cover purchases and for absolutely no reason or explanation the transactions were declined. I surmise that I now know the reason that Rock Auto doesn't have an Customer Service number, because they would be overwhelmed with complaints!
It's a good thing that I always take screenshots of all online transactions.
I've ordered 2 times from rockauto the first time got the wrong part and never got the refund this time it's been 5 days past delivery date that I paid extra for fast shipping. They are telling me to be patient and give it time. If I had time I wouldn't have paid for fast shipping. It's sat now and won't be getting it tomorrow either. Can't wait to go through the claim process again... $#*!ty service and even shifter customer support

I don't understand the negative reviews, I think it's just a provocation. I have been ordering from this e-shop for several years, and I am completely satisfied. I've never had Rockauto send me a bad or broken part.
Ordered a couple power steering hoses, cost more to ship than their supposed price. The box came sealed with their tape however the hoses were clearly in opposite bags (right part#'s just swapped bag/labels) One was not crimped on one end that had a crimp there, but it just wasn't fastened down. On the same side of the crimp, the special threaded fitting that was there was actually not. On the other hose, it was crimped down but same story again, missing a fitting. BUYER BEWARE- The reason the parts is because they are a scam company that charges more for shipping than the parts so when you get their trash it'll cost you more to return it than they will refund you!
I've ordered several times hoping they would get better. Shipping has been over a week late. I need these parts. There is no way to get to customer service. I had to go to my back to get a refund. Please buy from another site. Not this soulless corporation
Refused to return parts for core return without original box (which arrived damaged and unusable) 125 USD stolen or scammed for lack of a better term. Zero customer service if you can even find someone to talk to. I wonder how many thousands they make pulling this on customers. After spending 1000 USD there only to be ripped off. STAY AWAY - there are lots of better parts companies with better parts too (crap quality) that aren't rip off artists.
They listed the wrong part on their site. They then give no option for that error when attempting tonreturn and I have to pay to ship back. No way to contact an actual person.
I purchased a ton of parts over the years from Rockauto in the past. But now Rockauto no longer has customer service support. You can't call or even email them. I ordered a starter and paid $40 extra for expedited service. The item was ordered on a Wednesday and was supposed to arrive Friday. The package didn't arrive till the following Monday. The shipper was FedEx. I tried to get a refund for the expedited shipping fee from FedEx and they said I needed to do that through Rockauto. When I tried to get a refund for the fee from Rockauto the automated response was that the shipper doesn't reimburse them for late packages which is blatantly false. FedEx told me they would issue a refund but the shipper has to file the claim. I'm done with rock auto and will never order from them again.
I have used Rockauto for many years, until this week. I ordered the correct rotors for my truck, according to Rockauto's description and pictures. I received the wrong rotors. There is no option for this situation in the Rockauto return process except to pay for "discounted" return shipping. There is no way to contact Rockauto to ask why I paid return shipping to cover their mistake. I have closed my account and will never buy from them again. Well done Rockauto...
Ordered spark plugs on 7/19/23. Rock Auto had the price I could find. I received order confirmation on 7/20/2023. (apparently their computers sleep at night?). I received order shipped info on 7/20/2023. It was shipped DHL. On 7/23/2023 I was notified that my order was delivered. I reviewed the detailed tracking info. DHL handed it off to USPS.
On 7/23/2023, USPS stated that it is in a delivery box. It was not. I contacted USPS and they opened a case for a missing package. I filled out the lost package info on the Rock Auto site and requested that the product be sent again. I received the message that " they can not send the replacement product or issue a refund until they received the returned product".? IT'S LOST! THERE IS NO PRODUCT TO RETURN... Also in the tracking info. It states that the product was returned by the carrier. Totally conflicting info. On the web site. No human to speak with etc. etc. Rock Auto at one time was the place to go for auto parts... Never again for me. Now I need to call my CC company and open a charge dispute. A total waste of time and I didn't save any money as well.
I orderd a $20 part and paid $10 shipping. They send you an email that your part is undeliverable, refund you for the part keep the shipping costs. We recieve packages all of the time and never have one undeliverable. Also, the email was sent a day before the part was actually supposed to arrive at my location.
Rock auto is resting on their laurels not their performance. Rockauto needs to step up their game or ANOTHER AUTO PARTS SUPPLIER IS GOING TO PICK UP THE BALL AND RUN.
I bought about 800 dollars worth of parts to rebuild my motor in that order was a fel pro gasket kit. Well they didn't ship the head gasket with it I just realized it and I go to call customer service well there is no customer service. It's all done via email so I email them took a couple days to respond they say they can't give me the part THEY forgot to send to me because it's been more than 30 days…It has been 33 days. Terrible customer service I will NOT be ordering from them again. And honestly I wish I would have looked here first because I wouldn't ent have ordered from them in the first place!
I order a ignition switch and needed it the next day.I paid 25.00 dollars for FedEx to ship my product. I finally received my part 4 days later.Rock Auto could and would not refund my shipping charges.! I will never use Rock Auto for anything ever again, and will tell everyone how bad They truly are, no customer service

Ordered shocks for 51 mercury. They came in and are the wrong part. They said they would fit they don't. Completely different. No way to get a hold of anyone. No customer service. No way to resolve the problem. I will never do business with Rock auto ever again. I strongly recommend that no one does any business with Rock auto ever again. This is a business that should go out of business. Would I give zero stars if I could. Screw them. They are screwing us!
