They send wrong parts, wrong size, broken parts, water in ripped bag and rust on part--- then when you want a full refund they charge you shipping costs and send you replacement EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T WANT IT. No customer service to contact only forms to return parts. You MARK DO NOT REPLACE AND they send you another regardless you they can get the shipping costs a 2nd time. Beware! Fraud-also credit card charged from other sites after dealing with Rock Auto totaling over $600. TOTAL SCAM AND FRAUD-CLASS ACTION NEED TO BE FILED!TOO MANY COMPLAINTS ON THEM AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT.

The first time I ordered, was brakes for my sons truck. They were correctly installed, the same night one part snapped causing my son to wreck. After that I decided maybe a fluke, we ordered an oil pump. Installed correctly. Still not holding pressure.I will never order from them again. I am not purchasing the cheapest parts, I am getting mid-to-high end.
Parts under warranty fees were charged so I paid twice for my delivery and the exchange was not by the same manufacturer (lower quality) I deleted my account.
I have ordered 4 parts from y'all and everyone of them was wrong and broken then try to get a refund on them and it cost more to return and get money back then you are getting back never again will I be using y'all hope y'all get better
Don't bother with this business unless your looking for frustration. Their customer service is only via email and they won't own their mistake of sending the wrong part even when presented with the proof of misrepresentation through wrong pictures of the part. Just steer clear is the point!
Don't order from this company. They sent me a part that is wrong but argue that it's what is called for. There return sight is hard to maneuver asking to many questions and want me to pay for return. I won't purchase from them again.
There is ZERO customer service and the shipping cost is insane. I will use local providers as the savings cost you more than the local parts shops.

Its been > 2 months and now the car is still Ice cold when we need it, Ford garage wanted over $3000 to rebuild AC system for our Car, rebuild was not that difficult. The shipping was Quick and they sent the correct kit. I use Rockauto itf it fits my time constraints. No issues so far in 3t+ years
Bought a starter for a 1997 4 runner. Box had the right part number on it but the actual starter had a different part number on it and it was not for my vehicle. Tried to return so I could get the right one and no luck in that department, immediately said not returnable and they don't even have a customer service you can call!
Been using RA for 10 years now, was never a great seller but there was money to be saved so it came out in the wash.
Since COVID? Trash. Most of the parts are end of line, faulty, mislabeled rubbish. When you discover this, you are liable for shipping it back to get a refund. Know how often that works out economically in your favour? That's right, never.
Recently bought two Moog tie rods. I was sent one Moog tie rod and one, well, the quality of whatever it is would make AliExpress blush. I'm not installing this, I paid for a Moog part, I was sent I don't even know what. Even then, to be honest, Moog parts are still kind of junky but it's the best the offer. Meyle, lemforder, Sachs, etc? Shop elsewhere, they only carry bottom tier close-out tat.
Cost to ship back for refund? Three times the cost of the part. Money thrown into the wind.
When you call the number for assistance, their automated message says they do not offer customer service over the phone. The options under "help now" on their website are broad and useless.
I finally located their email and reached out for help and they were quick to blame my for my inability to order an item using PayPal. They advised me to use the "help now" section rather than bother them and they closed the ticket. Disgusting service.
I returned a $435 throttle body and they return me the $72 core charge said it was my fault closed the ticket and now there's no way to get hold of them whatsoever without a new order. If there was a zero star rating they would get less than that.
The goal is to save money. They make sure they get every dollar out of you. I am tax exempt, me and every one else i know have tried to use our credentials to make it so. It does not let you. They have no customer service. Sometimes when you order parts it takes weeks to get to you and they will not let you return it when this happens. We have a local rock auto warehouse here. Some of my family members work there. They get me any part i want. But yet when i order it on line they get charge full shipping fees when they do so much business with the carrier they make a profit off of that too. Ad even when you try to save money as they say from shipping from the same location it does not let you. It makes it seem that nothing is in the same buildings anymore
Bought a 2013 Toyota Avalon here at the end of April 2023. Drove okay, looked to be un good shape inside and under the hood. Not long after I purchased it it started making a popping sound in the front end. I and others thought it was suspension related, until it went up on a rack. The mechanic contacted me immediately asking if I can take this car back. The front axel had been replaced, visual damage to much of the underneath of the vehicle. Loose bolts all over, including where the " work " had been done. This car suffered major damage, even though it has a clean carfax, and the repair work was not close.to professional grade. I am lucky the front axel didn't fall apart. Now I am stuck with this car, owing thousands, repairs needed to even make it run right and reliable.
These guys started selling defective parts, their return or refund policy is unusable, they will ask you to return the item at your own cost to be eligible for a refund. Last time I received an F350 oil pan, it came dented and unusable, return shipping of this 15 pounds item was more than its price. CLOWNS!
I will never buy anything from this company again. Working with customer service is useless and a waste of your time. They did not offer any reasonable solutions to correct their issues.
These guys saved the day. My part arrived a day earlier than expected and fit perfectly. My car runs great. Way better experience than Amazon who sent me a part that wasn't even close to what I ordered. What I also found that most other dealers is the ability to pay for expedited shipping which is what I needed. Thanks rock auto
If you have a problem with the wrong part, good luck returned it to this company. No way to print a shipping label. No way to get a hold of someone in customer service.
Stop using FedEx delivery when you guys ship the parts it will sit in a local FedEx warehouse for days until they decide to deliver it
