They sent me the wrong auto part due to their incorrect product description. They admitted their mistake, but only refunded me the wrong part and tiny 10% of shipping cost. They did not refund me the full shipping charge for the wrong part. They declined my compensation request because I had paid double installation labor cost since it's done twice due to their mistake.
Dealing with this company regarding the product or service issue has been a horrible experience. To make matters worse, there is no customer service contact phone for me to reach out to discuss any concerns or issues.

SENT THE WRONG PART, in their page lists as a correct part even it is the wrong part for the car, a REAL WASTE OF TIME I will never buy again from these sobs
The bolt round not square(positioning) it is in the wrong place(see pics) therefore the sensor sits rotated hitting the hub as it turns.
I tried the warranty and they want to send the same crap, when I said not the right part they deemed it my problem, the pics do not show the side view as the other parts do. Thought i saved a little bur NOT WORTH IT
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO CORRECT THEIR FUPS

Wrong Parts Sent, Good Luck Returning It!

Parts are often misrepresented, so you end up with stuff that doesn't fit.
Rockauto later refuses to pay for return shipping.

I ordered a Power Stop brake kit from RockAuto. I referenced the manufacturer's website to ensure I was ordering the correct kit. I received the kit within 2 days (which was nice since the car was up on jacks.) Unfortunately, the kit was wrong. Rotors were wrong diameter. Pads were not long enough to fit in the carrier.

I tried to initiate a return/refund, but as the rotors were slid on the hub bolts, and have anti-seize on the holes, my return request was denied. They claim the part is used just based on a little grease and opened package. There are no customer service agents to help and no email or phone contact.

I filed a claim with my bank, and BBB. I'd urge you all to shop local. You will get your parts faster and they will be the correct ones.

Ordered a fuel pump and paid for express shipping to get it quicker as was an emergency for my work van - The part came 8 days later than expected due date as for no updates for shipping and unable to contact them for updates so i ended up buying the part from GM as i needed my work van fixed asap. They charged me 50$ USD to return a late part and was giving no updates. They should have issued me a full refund as i paid for express shipping and it gave very late

Have ordered many auto parts from them over the years, but I will not buy anything again. Their parts are Chinese and pure garbage. I will also tell all my friends and acquaintances not to shop at rockauto. And my friends should tell everyone they know: don't beware of the cheap rockauto junk

Mistake on shipping!

I ship a part to Rockauto by mistake which I know was my fault. Rick auto received my part and was signed by them by FedEx. I tried about everything to get them to send the part back even I would pay for it. After many times of trying to get it back i was told they don't keep records of all their shipments! I call BS. I would never order or recommend this company. Very! Very Dishonest company & Staff!

Ordered rotors, received 2 completely different parts and one was trashed, looked used. Waste of time to save a few bucks over retail parts store. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT...NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM BY PHONE OR EMAIL TO EXPLAIN.

I have used rock auto for many many years, but recently I am finding false advertising. My most recent purchase of an exhaust kit shows a FULL exhaust in its description. Well, when you get the kit you find out, it doesn't come with converters, sensors and missing hardware. I will NEVER be using them again. This was a lie that cost me hundreds of dollars.

RUN SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND HEADACHE

Ordered a 500$ condenser that looked used, rusty and it didn't fit but was in the right box. Sent it back and now they got my money and won't replace the part so I'm out the money and part. Wanted me to pay to have the junk one sent back. I've never had such a horrible experience with buying parts. Haha you got me. NEVER AGAIN... AND no phone number and very hard to find an email. Sketchy, I should of known better.

I had purchased an electrical alternator from them. It didn't work but few hours. Had to take it out to get a refund. Have to do refund on their site. Not a hard process but rather had spoken with someone, but as you already know, they have no number to call, least I can't find it. When doing the refund, you click on what you're returning. The site came back and said, "OH were out of that product and can't send a replacement, but can give you credit, or do a refund". I really just wanted to exchange it, even for a different alternator. But nowhere to allow it, or to tell a human being. So, I have to send back. WELL, i tested the "oh, we are out of stock on your part and cannot replace" BS. I signed back in as someone else, tried ordering the part they said was out of stock and was able to purchase it. I immediately canceled it. But they are liars. Why wouldn't they want to just replace it.? Not upset the product was a dud. Thats happens sometimes with alternators and starter that are rebuilt. Just that they needed a way to exchange for another product if necessary.

Do not buy from rock auto!

They charged me literally double for one day shipping. I then waited a week for my parts to arrive. When the parts finally did arrive they were shattered into pieces in the box. They won't refund me and won't send the replacements on one day shipping. So I am now two weeks out on parts I paid DOUBLE for to get next business day

Used and incorrect part received

I think there was my last order here. Until today I have ordered many spare parts and had no problems.
I ordered lower control arms for the left and right sides, I open the package and there is a damaged part and after installation on another car. I understand that there are no options for returning this part because they will say that I installed it by myself.

I purchased a part specifically because of the wiring harness that was clearly listed on the site as included. Upon immediately opening the box I received the secondary part(3rd Brake Light) instead of the wiring harness I paid the additional $60 above the part without the harness. RockAuto has stolen from me.
This company is NOT Recommended for use by VETERANS.
They will never receive another dollar from my family.

These scum buckets had the audacity to tell me that they couldn't refund me because I sent back part to the wrong warehouse. The Fedex labels they gave me! This POS company had the part in a warehouse thats in they're network. So they have the part and my $. Is Rock Auto that hard up for cash? I will definitely go on all social sites to make sure they lose some kind of business. I got robbed without a gun from some crackhead $#*!/coke driven company. BOYCOTT ROCK AUTO! $#*!ing scam! Per their return policy they can't refund me. So why don't I have the part? BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT!

They have no way to contact any type of real customer support / phone / online chat / etc.
I have ordered from them for YEARS... There is ALWAYS a issue with something.
Most recently. I ordered the correct item I desperately needed for the left side of car,my only / current transportation.Rushed shipped, got a few days later, brought it to my mechanic, he was able to get to it the next day... But he said something was off. So he told me to order the the same item but for the right side of the car. So ordered this item. Got it to the mechanic again. Next day. They boxed the wrong item in the first box. So i ended up with 2 Right side pieces for my car. Wasting, time, money... Still having to UBER to everywhere. I am being asked to pay to return the Wrong part they sent. And I still have to reorder the other part again. Because they wont refund, replace or send me the money back till they receive the wrong part they sent.

Sent part back that was incorrect. Went through the refund process, and paid for the return myself. 2 weeks later, I inquired about the return. I sent the part to the wrong address. I was told that because I sent it back to the wrong address I will not be receiving a refund. But the part was returned. The way I see it that rock auto is stealing money from their customers. Won't be dealing with rock auto no more.
