Not the cheapest quote I got (went with an enclosed trailer) but a few other were still double. A couple of places I got cheaper quotes from just bombarded me with phone calls and e-mails as well as one of the really expensive ones, but not from roadrunner.
My car was delivered on time and the drivers were very friendly and helpful (used car arrived at my work with a dead battery, I brought my car over to jump and once it started they parked it where I wanted it).
Very satisfied. I was impressed with the ease of navigating your website as well as the process for placing & completeing my order.

Pick up was delayed at last minute for five days. Delivery, however, was very prompt.
Mynor was great answered all of my questions. Only problem I had was at pick up when the driver did not want to give me top rack on the car carrier.

BORDERLINE SCAM
The company was very fast to contact me to book a carrier and collect their fee money. They said I can cancel until a carrier is dispatched to me, but I will be notified when one is dispatched.
When no call or email came on my anticipated pick up date I called the company. A carrier was dispatched but Roadrunner wouldn't give me the phone number of the carrier. (The carrier was Blueridge Exotic Transport. He was bold enough to brag he does not pay taxes on some of the delivery payment since it is in cash. He was late claiming that his truck broke down).
I have tried to call and speak to someone about the terrible car carrier business they contract out to (driver says his truck broke down again, my cars arrived a week after they said it would take, I have to call the driver for updates since he ever calls and then only has bad news). I was told by Roadrunner that a manager would call me back once they were off the other line. That was days ago. I left voice messages to Zack Zangle and have never received a call back. This is a dishonest company.
I have called numerous times and never received a call back after calling both the specific extension for Zack Zangle as well as trying to call the main call center. I get put on hold for over 10 minutes. Roadrunner did call once to say my delivery would be delayed 8 days past the agreed upon date. I am still waiting so it could be longer. I asked to speak to a manager and they said I will get a call back as soon as the manager is done with another call. That was 2 days ago. This is the most dishonest and untrustworthy company ever

It was good, no issues
I booked my auto transport almost 2 months in advance and the pickup and delivery were both delayed. No one I spoke with ever gave me the heads up that the pickup date was more of a 'window' rather than something dependable. It wasn't until after calling several times and said I was going to go with another company (since you can get a full refund if you cancel before a carrier gets assigned) that they were 'magically' able to assign a carrier 10 minutes later. Luckily the carrier I was assigned was great to work with. Although I will give them credit that every time I called I was able to connect with a person fairly quickly...they just didn't have much to say that was useful in regards to an update.

Delivery update - My vehicle was received over a week late. I was told this was due to a breakdown of the moving vehicle. My vehicle was also received with scratches and rub marks from trees. Roadrunner Auto Transport told me his drivers did not drive under trees. However there were broken branches in the bed of my truck.
When I placed my order to have my truck picked up they told me a time and date. When the truck was not picked up I contacted roadrunner and they said they would check on it. Then the truck company that was actually picking up my truck called and said they could have picked up my truck the day i was told but that roadrunner didn't tell them. They had me scheduled for 2 days later. In the end I did get my truck and the driver was excellent. He called me when he picked it up and when he was dropping it off. He was actually early for the drop off.

Answer: Via the website it was pretty easy and they called once. But, when giving updates, they didn't call as promised and just emailed.
Answer: There are many shipping brokers and definitely do your research. I've shipped over 12 times and this has been the absolute worse experience I've ever had.
Answer: 8 days after I paid extra money than initially asked for
