Shipped a car from Seattle to DC. The front end scheduling of the pickup went pretty smoothly. I got my questions answered and things happened in a timely manner.The pickup driver came with a flatbed specifically for my car. He itemized all the damage and then loaded up the car and took it to a yard where the load was assembled for transport. He took my payment and made a simple note on the pick up paperwork that it was paid on collection meaning not to be collect payment on delivery. I thought it a little bit odd that this would serve as my receipt. He did say that if they ask for payment upon delivery to my son in DC to tell them that it was paid already. It turns out the delivery people actually did ask for payment from my son. I/we had to go through some rigmarole to get that straightened out. I had them contact the collection driver (I had his phone number). They were able to get it straightened out. My son is very busy, and the delivery person had great difficulty arranging a mutually agreeable time to deliver the car. It turns out he actually arranged an Uber to pick up my son and take him to where the car was. My son didn't pay for this. I thought this was pretty resourceful under the circumstances.

You failed to be able to transport my truck! You backed out of our deal! I was a month behind schedule getting it home! I had a terrible time getting ahold of you and when you did call it was only to tell me you couldn't haul my truck! Another company picked it up the following Monday!
I've used roadrunner many times over the past 5 years. This is the first time I had difficulty getting a set date for pick up from customer service. After reading off of the script 3 times they still had to answer my question, when will the driver come and will they come before I am no longer in state to allow for the car to be picked up. The driver who transported my car was friendly, accommodating, and timely. Overall experience was good. Customer service needs improvement.

Communication from Roadrunner from time of booking until pickup is really poor. Can't call or email and get any status updates
Communication was horrible. I had to cancel my order to get a response and an ETA. To add insult to injury, the truck ramp malfunctioned and I had to drive 40 miles (round trip) to pick up my car.
I felt like Wyle E. Coyote, because the Roadrunner definitely got the best of me... TWICE.
NEVER AGAIN!
The actual transport was great and the driver, once assigned was terrific. My issue is with Road Runner themselves...we had requested pickup weeks ahead of time and multiple times were told everything was on schedule. However, once the arranged pickup day approached, we received no contact. Multiple phone calls resulted in the same message..."we will contact you once a driver has been assigned". Well that took over a week after the original pick up day.
Great service! Delivered in great condition with out any added expenses. Wil definitely call Road Runner if need this service again... A+++++

Very happy with roadrunner have a had car shipped multiple times without any problems and if there is a delay you are always notified and kept up to date.
Had to deal with company owner who was very nice...but the truck the car was being transported on was involved in an accident with another truck and the car received almost $2000 in damages. It was taken care of... but the 55 inch tv in the trunk (where the trucks collided) was broken and they would not replace... so not only was I out the transit money but had to be without the car for 4 days (they did cover the cost of a rental), and had to replace the tv out of pocket. The car was in the process of being moved from Cali to S. Carolina.
Answer: Via the website it was pretty easy and they called once. But, when giving updates, they didn't call as promised and just emailed.
Answer: There are many shipping brokers and definitely do your research. I've shipped over 12 times and this has been the absolute worse experience I've ever had.
Answer: 8 days after I paid extra money than initially asked for
