No communication truck was promised numerous times arrived 2 days late wasted time waiting on carrier. Customer services were not available worse experience i have ever dealt with I would absolutely not recommend to anyone!

Absolutely horrible experience!

Absolutely horrible experience! The driver did not call prior to pick, just arrived at the house and called from out front. The day before the delivery the driver hit an overhead gate destroying the roof of my car but never notified me or Road Runner of the accident. Upon arrival at the destination there was no 2-3 hour call, the driver attempted to drop and run but my son caught him. He then tried to alter the pickup and delivery inspection report to indicate the damage was there at time of pickup, again my son caught him doing this. The driver then took off leaving no insurance information, paper work, BOL or delivery receipt and gave us a disconnected phone number for his company. My son was able to get a photo on the inspection report however. The repair estimates exceeded the value of the vehicle but in the end I was able to reach a settlement with the Hauler's insurance company and the car is being repaired however they would not refund the transport cost. Road Runner however never apologized or called me directly or returned my calls. They are nearly impossible to contact once they have your money. I asked them to refund the cost for transport and they refused stating that the vehicle was delivered to its destination. This would be like paying someone to clean your windows and in the process breaking your windows but still wanting to get paid because they were in fact cleaned. I strongly recommend not using Road Runner.

Nick has been very helpful and I really appreciate it. As far as the delivery goes, I was disappointed. The price went up a couple of times and I was good with that. We went from around $750 to $950. I was told that was to guarantee the Sunday delivery and because the car was inoperable. I was good with that. When the driver showed up he got the car on the trailer and said he would see us Monday. I explained that it had to be Sunday because of the extra money and we were going to be on the other end and could not do Monday. He complained and told us how he wasn't making any money. He then told me I needed to call roadrunner and get him more money. He never asked for cash from me, but the way he kept saying he didn't think he could get it there on time was implying that he wanted me to offer some. He did get the car delivered early Sunday and everything was fine. It just felt like a communication breakdown. He showed me his paperwork that said it could be delivered Monday. This was upsetting because I was told the extra money was to guarantee this delivery. I did not appreciate the driver complaining about how much he was getting when I was spending almost 1000 dollars. I gave 2 stars because Nick was helpful, although if I have to transport another car, which I will be doing in March, I will find a different company.

1st I as double billed for this

1st I as double billed for this. Road runner did refund the 2nd billing but thiscaused me to incur 2 overdraft fees from my bank. The car was scheduled to be picked up on November 14th. Late on November 13th, I received a call from the trucking company that was supposed to pick up the car and was informed the pick up would not happen until November 15th. I received another call from thentrucking company and was informed that the driver wouldn't be able to get his truck to my house and I would have to meet him somewhere else to load the car. The car was finally picked up at about 10:00am on the15th.
This put me 10 hours behind schedule as I was scheduled to leave 12:00am on the 15th. I was also informed that the truck driver could not get to the address the car was being shipped to and we would have to meet at a different location to pick up the car. This was not a smooth experience and I would not recommend this company.

The whole process was easy from beginning (booking) to end (delivery). If you have questions, call them. If the line is busy, they'll call back and/or send an email. Just sit back and wait for your car. Texas to Mass. Took about 2 weeks from time of booking!

The sales people were very friendly, helpful and accommodating promising no deposits and everything within a certain time. But after waiting days for an update I got a call saying they needed to up the bid by hundreds of dollars or they would miss the window for my shipment. Having had to wait, I ponied up the extra money but was promised the vehicle would arrive on a specific day though the time of day was not certain. Nine days later my car hadn't shown up and I was told it would the next day, between 9am and 9pm. I had to book a hotel and change my flight. I was promised a phone call with more details and closer timing the next day. It didn't come. Instead, after waiting until 9pm and no car, I found an email that was sent after the promise of a call simply stating my car would be another day late. Now I have to book yet another hotel and I still don't know when my car will arrive though its been 10 days since it was picked up. SO FRUSTRATING!

The first time I used this service, it was great

The first time I used this service, it was great. Constant communication from assigned transporter to enroute updates. This time while using this service it sucked. Scheduled pick up was through military vehicle processing center (VPC) and roadrunner wasn't able to fulfill the request, I wasn't notified of that until 3 hours after the scheduled pickup. It took me having to call roadrunner to find out what happened. I let them know it was extremely inconvenient and if they'd reduce the price. I was told the fee is from transporter they use. I then said the transporter didn't make the scheduled pick-up for delivery and since they are who you use and they didn't fulfill the order... contact them for a discount for not fulfilling my order and not notifying me until 3 hours after the appointment time. Roadrunner did not oblige, just kept repeating himself and we ended up getting 'disconnected.' I scheduled another appointment with the VPC and called roadrunner back to update my order. No answer and no return calls. Only received email notification of order updates. A week or so later, I received a call asking about service feedback and said 'I have to be honest and say I'm not satisfied' and the woman only said, 'sorry to hear that have a nice day.' It's now 2 months later and I receive this email. Seriously another email

Roadrunner was very prompt in setting up the transfer of my car. The driver that picked up the car was extremely rude and not at all helpful. He called to tell us he was at our home to get the car but he was two blocks away. I understand that he could not pull on to our street but he failed to tell us that. We had to find him, when he delivered he did the same thing. He acted like he was doing us a favor. Very rude and made the experience awful. Moving is very stressful and his attitude did not help.

Outstanding service
December 7, 2019

Outstanding service. Although I could not be with my a keyless entry auto when it was picked up or dropped off, I had absolutely no problems at either end. Their agents/drivers were on time, courteous on the phone and reasureing concerning the transport. I would definitely use them again. Great experience overall. Transport from western SC to eastern NC.

Overall communication could be better throughout the process regarding pick up time and delivery. Pick up date got pushed back a week. More precise pickup window would be beneficial to customers.
