My name is Marc,
I tried to get 2 rooms from holiday inn express in Chambersburg Pennsylvania for one night.
Instead of charging me for one night they charged me for 11 nights. When I saw that within 5 minutes I tried to contact them just to fixe the problem, they refused to do it.
They told me to go to the hotel and when I got there call them from the front desk. I did exactly what they told me still I don't get my money yet.
Worst part of it, I did not even stay at the hotel that night, because I was upset about the situation, they call police on us, me, my 95 year old Mother, my 96 year old father, my wife and myself.
Reservation.com is the worst thing I ever dealt with all my life.
Nothing but a scam they have hidden fees non refundable that only can be seen after you book your hotel room, I canceled my room and reservations.com kept my 91.00$$ even after I canceled my hotel room and I've recieved several emails with no results they claim it's the hotels fault for not getting reimbursed but reservations.com are the ones keeping my money and they're not supposed to get paid for the hotel fee itself which they did and kept my entire payment of 54$ for the canceled motel room and 19.99$ from a hidden fee that doesn't appear until you've already booked your hotel room I'm contacting better business bureau reservations.com are nothing more than internet scammers if you want to lose all of your hotel money book with them I know I wouldn't recommend them to someone I hate no one deserves to be ripped off by reservations.com and that's exactly what they do and aim to achieve as soon as you confirm your hotel fee on your credit card another page with more fees 19.99$ appear as taxes and non refundable dont waste your money I hope they get shut down as a website nothing but thieves and scam artists dont deserve to have a business license period, illpost reviews on reservations.com until they lose business just like I lost my money total scam
I couldn't see the TOTAL charges until after booking! The confirmation was astronomical. There was@ $50 in "fees" added. It says fully refundable by certain date/time... but there is $19.99 "service fee" that they still charged. A sorry excuse for a company. One star is too good for them. NEVER USE RESERVATIONS.COM
This company only cares about their $19.99 service fee. Their rates are high and I believe unethical business practices. I travel 140 nights a year. I will never stay at a hotel that embraces reservations.com!
I had to cancel my reservations a week early due to bed bugs and noisy hotel. Reservations.com would not refund my money. They are theifs, crooks, just to mention a few things. I'm out $1300 because of the company. I had no idea that I was even reserving through them. They piggy back off of websites. Nothing but a bunch of theifs. To make matters worse they are in Thailand. Never use them. Complete crimminals. If I could leave a negative star review I would. Customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. They barely speak English. Not to mention that at one point there were barking dogs in the background. It was probably what they were going to have for dinner. Do yourself a favor and use some other company. Please tell all your friends how horrible this company is.
Thought I was booking through hotel. When reservation was confirmed it had $60.00 in over charges. What should have been $169.00 plus taxes needs up being $*******
I was recently charged for a reservation I DID NOT MAKE to a city I have no plans on traveling to. When contacting the extremely unhelpful people at Reservations, com, I was given the runaround by Julie and Flor (both of whom are using fake names) and was told there is a no refund policy. The purchase should have never been made to begin with, it was fraudulent and a scam. The hotel they booked me in was more than willing to cancel the reservation, as I did not make it to begin with, but nobody past that was or is willing to help. My advice... book ANYWHERE but through these scam artists and cheats. I was also told that a supervisor would call me back... that was a week ago.
Called to check dates for a trip received a quote. I gave my info in good faith after the charges were pending on my card that rate was no longer available. I was told the charges were only pending and would no be charged ( untrue). Now you call them and they say there is no reservation they can do nothing I need to email a screenshot of my bank statement to customer service. You email customer service a screenshot of your account ( with no account numbers) with charges that are not pending but paid and customer service responds sorry you don't have a reservation. Customer service has no phone and no supervisor in the booking department they give you another sales rep. Around we go next stop BBB.RUN AWAY From this company.
Do not use this company. Book your reservations thru the hotel. I booked my reservation 9 months out to get a room for a convention. I asked if they would run my card and was told no. Three days later they run my card to the tune of 2800. 00. Why would I let them use my money for 9 months. I'm was told it will take 7-10 business day to clear it up. Jacob told me would cancel my reservation. I called back an hour later it still was In the system as an active reservation. Since I don't keep that much money in my account. I accrued 200.00 in late fees. They will not reimburse you for that and pretty don't care. I should have know better when I booked my reservation in Nashville that the individual I spoke with didn't have a southern drawl
I googled the Hotel I wanted to stay in. Google sent me to this site. I thought I was booking directly with the hotel, but realized I didn't. I called to cancel. They charged me a $19.99 non refundable fee. I asked for a one time refund I have never used this site before. The customer service rep refused to give me a credit.
SCAMMERS! They robbed me of my $19.99. I WILL NEVER BOOK THROUGH THIS SITE AGAIN.
Booked a room thru them at Marriott. The next day they cancelled the reservation due to the room no longer available. After 3 weeks still have not received my refund. They said it was processed but my card company said it has not recieved it.
DONT DO IT! This is nothing but a scam! They over charge the actual hotel rate! When trying to work any issue out they hang up up on you! Tell you one thing and show another! Lie about putting you on hold. Lie about sending you to a manager! VERY disrespectful and very unprofessional! Call main hotel, they never heard of them. DONT DO IT!
Their site came up on a goggle search for the hotel I wanted to stay at, looking like a legit hotel site and with a banner to "call for deals". The call took an inordinate amount of time, required full payment, and not only added 22.5% for taxes and fees, but also included a $20 "service fee". The hotel general manager said this was "unheard of" and reservations.com have refused to refund the "service fee".
Clearly a scam and hard to believe they are allowed to operate.
First of all, any good reviews of reservations.com must be from their employees! I went online to look up a phone number of the hotel I wanted to stay at but didn't realize this site popped a picture of my hotel with the dot com phone number. I was quoted $676 for 2 nights and having stayed there recently that sounded high. Told them I'd have to talk to my husband and call right back. Woman told me this was last room and would be higher priced when I called back so she would wait on line for me to talk to my husband. I explained I wasn't home and after her 3rd try to book she gave up. I looked online again closer and noticed it was not the direct number to the hotel I had called so I then called the hotel. They quoted me $450! I called them back furious wanting a breakdown of the price and they put me on hold for 15 minutes then gave me a answer that had nothing to do with my complaint. I don't think this site is even in our country and they are out to scam us into paying more. It's disgusting. Please beware, cut out the middle man sites and call the hotel direct.
If I could give them a ZERO, I would. Customer Service is a nightmare - you are placed on hold for 45+ minutes, to speak with someone who can barely speak English, to be put back on hold and then disconnected. And the only way to speak with someone is to pretend you want to book something. Also, what legitimate site charged $19.99 for the privilege of using their site? And sneakily tack it on. Do yourself and your credit card a favor, and use something else, or call the hotel directly. Reservations.com and CCI.com are connected, and are truly no more than a scam.
I had a death in my family and had to cancel my reservation. The lady on the phone told me my refund would be back in my account in 8 to 15 days. Did not happen. I checked cancalation policy and it says all but 19.99 would be returned. Well that didn't happen. They kept it all. Would not use this again and i hope noone ulse does either.
MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE ACTUAL HOTEL SITE
TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS ESPECIALLY IF YOI HAVE PETS.
They will set you up with the higher priced room, then when you get to your destination you can't have the room you reserved because you have a pet.
They told me the pet room was the one I reserved.
WRONG!
So, because of the cancelation agreement date had passed, I could not get a refund for the difference.
DO NOT USE RESERVATIONS.COM
Stay away I beg you. I thought I was booking with hotel direct. I was booked with reservation.com unknowingly and at the wrong hotel. They told me non-refundable. I tried to cancel one minute after I realized it. Stay away. I beg you. They would not help. Nightmare. Thank God I used my AmEx and went through them.
So the "$19.99 Service fee isn't refundable" huh? Thanks for NOT telling me even after I inquired about how a $149 booking landed at $202.20. I was told "Taxes and fees." That's it... just "taxes and fees". I was also told several times that I can "cancel without penalty"... but STILL no mention of a nonrefundable service fee. Same when I called back to cancel - different person but the same lack of communication. Run as fast as you can from these deceptive criminals!
The website says I can cancel online, but it isn't possible to cancel online. The link to Cancel Your Reservations takes you to a page that only lets you get a copy of your reservation. There is no option to actually cancel. Also, it was almost impossible to understand the customer service rep because of her accent and limited English skills. Don't use Reservations.com!
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!
Answer: Hello, Thank you for question. Please contact us at [email protected] so we can better assist you with this matter. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing back from you. Sincerely Reservations.com Support Team
Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
