When booking a room, I asked for and was guaranteed free parking for 7 days as I flew. Once at the hotel, I found the free parking was a lie. I tried to cancel but could not. Had to scramble to find affordable parking well away from the hotel. I never stayed there and was charged more than had I just called the desk. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Last night I called what I thought was a direct number to Hilton Hotels. It ended up being reservations.com. I booked two rooms for which I was immediately charged and never received a confirmation email. When I called the hotel, they had no record of my reservation. When I called back to reservations.com, they had no record of my reservation despite the fact that I was able to provide the exact amount and times of my debit card being billed. I unknowingly booked a reservation through this company when I thought I was on the hotel site. My room was no cancellation fee and a lower rate. I get a confirmation back with a higher rate a no-cancellation room and a service fee. I immediately contacted them for a cancellation. It took 30 minutes with "customer service" and I was told it might take 3-4 weeks to get a refund. Refund is suppose to be coming but they are charging their fee. The trickster fee.
This was trickster tactics at its best. They got me so beware.
I unknowingly booked a reservation through this company and have been waiting for 3 months for my credit, which was authorized by the hotel. Customer service is horrendous to say the least, I have made over 7 calls. They only provide you with canned responses to questions and won't give any phone numbers out of people with authority. I can't even get someone to give me a phone number in the United States to deal with.
I have reported to BBB and found hundreds and hundreds of more complaints.
This is apparently a corrupt and fraudulent company and I can only hope they are out of business soon.

I accidentally booked through them thinking I was booking through Marriott. Called within 10 minutes of making the reservation to cancel. 2 weeks later still no refund. $3,150 still sitting in their account. What a shame they have to do this to get customers. Will make sure everyone I know doesn't use this serviceever.
I called what I thought was the hotel to book 3 rooms. I got the rate and told them I did not want to book that hotel because it was to much money. They said they were affiliated with other hotels in the area and could find me another one at a lower rate. I booked 3 rooms and was told I could cancel and get full refund. At no time was I told they were charging me a booking fee of $60.00 that is not refundable. If they did, it was done in such a way that was very misleading. I called to complain and was told they will refund my booking fee but if I have to cancel I would no longer be able to receive a refund. Stay away very misleading will never use them again.
I can only blame for myself. When I looked up a hotel to make a reservation their phone number popped up on the website. I called without realizing that I did not call the actual hotel. The representative was helpful and I booked a room for me. Their conformation email is set up in a way that you click on tab which will get you a $19.99 refund. This however means that your reservation is non-refundable. BTW, the actual hotel offered me a better rate but I had to stick with them.
I booked a room online for the wrong night (one day too soon), realized my mistake immediately, called their customer services number, was told there is nothing they can do! I didn't want a refund, mind you, I just wanted to push the reservation one day. Nope, sorry, not an option. They 'graciously' offered to cancel my reservation and re-book - at double the price! Stay far away from this booking 'service.'
I went online to make a hotel reservation and after going to what I thought was the hotel's website was redirected to a reservations.com site. When speaking to the customer service representative, I asked if this was the hotel and was told it was the booking company they used to make reservations. I continued with the reservation and when confirming the booking, asked specifically about the cancellation policy. I was told I could get a full refund up to 07/05/20. When I received the confirmation e-mail, it said there was a non-refundable $19.99 booking fee that I was never told about even though I asked the customer service agent directly. Not only that but the total cost was $150 more than booking through any other reservation site. Outrageous! When I called to complain I was met with with a rude manager and terrible customer service. I was mislead by the company and will never do business with them again.
Please before you booked with this agency. It's nonrefundable for certain situation. I have tried to get a refund back for a Aug reservations due to the numbers of covid 19 in Albany Georgia at the Hilton Garden. However, I see a refund back due to bad weather. Keep away from this place.
They charge non refundable fees to the consumer for booking a room through Expedia and do not show actual charges until you enter your credit card information. I immediately called to cancel, but they will not refund the $19.99 service fee. BEWARE!

Will not even refund cancellation due to travel restrictions for DoD personnel. It took them two months to get back to me about not issuing a refund.
THEY ARE THIEVES! They don't tell you about the 19.99 service fee that is non-refundable! I thought I was on the hotel site and making the reservation. But no, I got the worst customer service and headache!
I can just agree with the other voices: This is a predatory site that charges exorbitant fees, DO NOT use this site! Even if you cancel within 5 minutes they charge $19.99 and refuse to refund it. I had to cancel due to COVID, I could not stay in the hotel that they booked. I got the info literally within a minute of booking the hotel, Reservations.com would NOT issue a refund or even a credit for my stay reserved through Reservations.com.
False advertising of hotel rates - charge a fee for booking a room. I will never book this hotel again through this website. This was suppose to be the hotels website and I thought I was booking through the hotel, instead I wound up with a $20 fee for using this. If I can I will be reporting it to the hotel when I visit and hopefully they will refund the money
My conference was cancelled due COVID in March... at Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles... we were restricted from traveling and this hotel would NOT issue a refund or even a credit for my stay reserved through Reservations.com. I was forced to cancel this reservation due to a global pandemic... This was part of a large group... I have let Kevin Ward know I will not be attending any future conferences scheduled at this hotel. $600 GONE...
This is a predatory site the mimics hotel sites and charges exorbitant fees, DO NOT use this site! Even if you cancel within 5 minutes they charge $19.99 and refuse to refund it.
DO not book through this company I have a hotel booked and the refuse to credit or even postpone. We cant go due to the covit 19 and can't fly. They are keeping our money for something that is out of our control do yourself a favor and book though the hotel yourwanted to stay at.
I wish I had seen this site earlier. We called the hotel in San Jose del Cabo and made a reservation for two rooms. We were told that if we cancelled by 3/21/20 we could receive a refund. We received a confirmation though reservation.com. The hotel routed our request through this company without even telling us about it. We did try to cancel and did so in a timely manner. But two months later, giving them a copy of our phone records showing we cancelled on time, I receive a letter telling me they can't refund us because of the "unique policy" in our confirmation letter. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THE HOTEL IF THEY ARE USING A THIRD PARTY FOR THE RESERVATIONS. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. AND, THE HOTEL WE USED TO LOVE IS NOW PART OF THE SCAM TOO!
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
