They scammed me

I called to check if the hotel had a shuttle service. They said only one room was left and I rushed to book it. They charged me an additional $20. Plus, the rseveration never was made. They stole my credit card info. I never got the confirmation email. Spending several hour on the phone. Terrible

Called to cancel reservation over a month early due to a cancelled graduation because of COVID-19. They refused to refund the 19.99 fee. I found reservations.com by accident when searching for the actual hotel site. I didn't realize till it was almost done with the reservation that i wasn't on the hotel site but instead was on reservations.com. I spoke to a supervisor when cancelling the reservation and asked for the fee refund. He refused. I strongly recommend that you do not use reservations.com. Use the actual hotel sites. Most will allow cancellations with no fees.

I thought I was booking my reservation with the Hotel but in actuality it was Reservations.Com, they over charged for the room. The site gave one price but they added on a bunch of fees and a Service fee of $19.99 for their Customer Support or that's what they said. Long story short I ended up cancelling my trip due to Covid19 but they kept their service fee and said that it was not refundable. They are a bunch of scam artists and robbers, imagine the money they make by doing this. NEVER AGAIN!

Terrible company

I called them to book a hotel. They put wrong name, wrong email and most importantly wrong hotel. I called them back and they said it is non-refundable lol. It is crazy company, just go other place to book a hotel.

Overcharge

I was unknowingly rerouted to their site.
Poor customer service when I tried to contact for receipt.
I was charged additional $30 for the room plus $19.99. I tried contacting customer service for an invoice and complain about extra charges and he hung up on me. I do not recommend reservations.com

We booked 2 hotels and charged us 4 times. And one hotel is not the one we agreed upon... avoid this RESERVATION.COM. And they will hang up for 30 min if you call then for refund

I am old and used this site by mistake twice. The customer service is from a third world country not against people there but it's was hard for me to understand and communicate. The $19 ++ service charge is a joke. Please don't think you are saving money just look at the ratings and save the money. CALL THE HOTEL direct and get satisfaction without having to worry about customer service!

I CALLED AND MADE THE RESERVATION THROUGH RESERVATION.COM, 20 MINUTES LATER I FOUND OUT THAT MY SON HAD ALREADY BOOKED A HOTEL FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND. I CALLED BACK IMMEDIATELY AND CANCELLED, THEY STILL CHARGED MY ACCOUNT THE FULL AMOUNT OF 423.00 DOLLARS FOR 2 DAYS AND MY RESERVATION WAS 3 DAYS AWAY. WORSE TRAVEL AGENCY EVER... STAY AWAY

Horrible

Call before I made reservation and asked if I could make change once I got final schedule. Customer service rep told me yes, just call. I called 3 days before arrival and was told no changes. Non refundable. Never, ever, under and circumstances use this service. Located off-shore and unwilling to make a one day change. BBB will be contacted as well.

Made reservations thinking I was on another site. When the billing was done it was through this site. We had a special circumstance with the hotel we stayed at and had to leave one day early. The hotel manager assured us we would get a refund but had to go through the booking site. After putting in a ticket was told they would review and contact me within 30 days. After 40 days I contacted them again. They said Covid was causing a backup and it could be another 30 days. So after 90 days I contacted them again. Oh, they denied the refund. Never contacted me. Will not use them again.

We ended up reserving a room through reservations.com. While we were waiting in the airport in Calgary AB because we missed a flight.The guy taking the reservation did not tell us there would be a $24 service fee added on to the end of our reservation. In fact he specifically told me the final total and never added that fee.We were supposed to have a shuttle and there was none, which ended up costing us another $65 return to the airport next day. I spoke to someone in customer service at midnight same night because we never got a confirmation, and then I asked her what the $24 fee was and she said it would go back onto my credit card within 24 hours. Today I spoke to customer service and they absolutely refused to put the $24 back onto my credit card even though their customer service was horrible. I would not recommend reservations.com to anyone and if you're in Canada, they charge you US dollars. Hidden fees should be illegal and that's what this company does I selected one star but I would only give it a zero star

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a booking service and the hotel itself. I was charged $386.26 for a King suite with a pullout couch bed (by reservations.com) for two nights and I am surprised we didn't see rats in our room. When we arrived we were given keys to the wrong room when I complained to hotel they charged me an extra $195.38 equaling a total of $581.64 for a dump of a hotel! It was partially updated but the clean up part of renovation was not done, our room door would not latch meaning door was unlocked all night long and not to mention after complaining to the hotel they tell me I need to take it up with reservations.com meanwhile reservations.com was giving me the run around I have spoke with 7-8 different people and still NO COMPENSATION! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Overpriced for a dump of a hotel and VERY RUDE STAFF! Front desk clerk rolled her eyes at me instead of helping. I mean whatever happened to Great Customer Service? We stay in hotels regularly but will not be back to a comfort inn and suites and will never use reservations.com again!

Avoid This SCAM

They have, so far, bilked me out of $136 and another $20. The "customer service" person I spoke with could barely speak English. They took the $ out and then another $112 was taken out from the hotel. That's $250 for a one night stay!
I turned them in to the BBB.
And while the $ was taken out immediately, I have to wait "7-10 business days"!

Scam in its purest form. Leads you to believe youve made reservation through the hotel directly, only to find out you did not! Then in small print is the 19.99 processing fee. When I called to inquire, I was hung up on. I called back and was told I would receive a refund of the fee within 24 hours... crickets.
Pretty damn shady!

Beware - scam

Thought I was booking directly with hotel (Ramada) but did not. Have to cancel 1 nite of 3 and front desk advised I booked via Expedia. Thought that was odd... then looked more closely at confirmation. Bad on me.
Hotel said no issue with cancelling... called customer service and after 10 minutes of talking and being put on hold so they could confirm with front desk... he comes on and says system is down and to call back. Not them call me back... I have to call them... but in 2 hours.
I can see where this is going. Also realized billing is in US funds not Canadian, where I live and booked hotel for.
Booked different hotel earlier in the week with Travelocity... so much easier and better... And also transparent I was using them. No issue but anytime I had changes in the past they were great.
This change likely wont be good or easy with Reservations.com. Will be first and only use of them. TERRIBLE

I ended up paying 95.00 more for a two night stay than if I had booked the reservation with the actual hotel. Then they added a 19.99 fee.

I would not even give them a full star. I was making a reservation at a hotel site & the site linked me to Reservations. Com. It linked me to a completely different hotel in Italy ( my destination was NY) Within 5 minutes I realized the error & called their customer service dept. Was on hold for 5 more min& tried to explain the problem to a woman or should I say a robot who did not understand English I contacted them by email multiple times & it took them 4 1/2 weeks to respond AND REFUSE MY REQUEST TO CANCEL.
I would never recommend them & would appreciate this review to be generated throughout the web
