Searched extensively for appropriate hotel considering budget and location. Did so when hotel room s were in short supply because of flight cancellations

They used a website name such as hotel name.guestreservations.com so you think you're dealing directly with the hotel. They then generate a page that looks just like what you'd expect when dealing with the hotel. They show a good price in large bold font, but add outrageous fees taxes in the fine print sub text. I wasn't even directed to a credit card payment approval page. Somehow it just charged me the outrageous fee. The first I knew about this was via the confirmation email. They made the booking as non refundable. Again probably in the fine print. These people are scammers. Beware of where you are logging on to. I don't generally get conned, but this outfit is slick and they are simply theives of the worst kind.

Horrible experience. I was charged for reservation that has a wrong date and was not supposed to charged my account. Pls cancelled these reservations 2 reservations.

Our agent was excellent, helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and considerate. Leslie French is blind so I was helping her. The agent was most wonderful at helping Leslie. We could not have asked for better help as it was a three-way call due to her blindness.

I booked a room that was not what I wanted, he didn't tell me the specs and then lied to me about able to cancel! Unreasonable company! Cannot get anyone to help cancel after 2 hours of booking! Do not use this company!

The booking agent that I dealt with, Michael, went above and beyond to help me make a reservation. In the middle of an ice storm, he found me an affordable, nice place to stay for my husband and for me and our little dog. He couldn't have been more patient and helpful.

I thought I was booking directly with the hotel. Surprise, I wasn't. I was not not told of crazy cancelation fees and I an very angry that I was dupt in my time of panic. Family member having emergency surgery. Anyway, 65 dollars of fees for canceling an hour after booking is absurd. I don't think you can do that legally, after the fact or booking. Absolutely wrong, and not told during the booking. Shame on you.

After your AI wasted an hour and a half of my time, and a half hour of trying to reach the desk with the line shut down it was after 6pm the deadline for cancelations. Your system finally allow me to talk to a human. With in 10 minutes she had me all canceled ou and rebook to the correct date. She was a joy to work with.

The hotel was the worst possible with roaches and noise, very dirty. The agent did not tell me about that. He also never sent me a receipt and I need one. I repeated my name and email multiple times and he still got it wrong. Just need more training and be honest with the customers.

I cannot begin to thank this woman that helped me enough for doing such a wonderful job. I had been scammed over so many times trying to book a hotel room down there in Texas for a wedding and some leisurely time. The security on my phone was just going crazy, and even trying to book a room as my gut said call and I called as I was just getting ready to hit the button to secure the room that room wasn't available so it was another scam. But this beautiful soul was able to fix everything for me. She found me a room a safe hotel and just bless her heart took care of everything that I needed. If I could give her 10 stars I would what took me days of failing to get me a room took her just a few minutes because she is so good at what she does. She listened to what I needed and she went to work and was just minutes it was all taken care of, and I couldn't thank her enough for all that she did for me and I still can't. She is one employee who has customer service first and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for everything she did for me. 10 stars my friend and thank you again for taking care of me. God bless and I can't wait to enjoy that Texas sunshine.

Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
