Why would you promote those "non-me" advertisements? We, as Realtors, do not do In practice what your horrific winner/loser advertisements portray! Talk about sad shameful and BULLY promoting advertising
Horrific.
I am proud to be a Realtor. I am not proud what you have made us out to be.
Disgusting
I purchased a home from Barbera Homes in 2009. From the time I explored the purchase through the present, the site realtor Terry Jean Little and the builder, Frank Barbera have been helpful and responsive. Frank and his staff were on site throughout the construction and dealt with any issues quickly and to my satisfaction. Even to this day as questions arose over the years, Terry and Frank have been very helpful in addressing and responding. I would not hesitate to purchase another home from this company.
She works tirelessly to expedite the sales process. She is thorough, knowlegable, and extremely efficient. From viewing time to the seller accepting our offer was 1and half hours. To close was 2 weeks. In that time Ms. CHAMBERS arranged for and expedited the required inspections and provided the reports for those inspections in a timely manner. I would gladly recommend Ms. CHAMBERS, agent for Realty Executives to my family and friends.
Worked a lot with real estate web sites. Local broker sites are more helpful.
New listings can take 2 days to show on Realtor.com. Sold listings can stay on there for weeks.
The info on this site is often outdated and untrue you cannot feel good doing a house search using this site. I am not a realtor I am a private person that has bought and sold 4 homes over past 5 years and this site is worse than ever before
The site, realtor.com, does not allow feedback although there is a feedback button at the bottom of every page you pull up on realtor.com, clicking on it does nothing. The site is as lame as all of the other real estate sites. As potential buyer, here this realtor.com and all other real estate sites, when I set criteria for a 2 or 3 bedroom home showing pages of 6 bedroom homes means I am done. If I am shopping for a 3 bedroom home then set the search limit to FIT EXACTLY THAT CRITERIA and stop showing me 6 and 7 bedroom homes.
I will never hit "contact agent" ever again on Realtor.com. I did not get the actual listing agent for the property. I made the mistake of providing my cell number and was immediately bombarded by a dozen agents who knew nothing about the listing, calling me during meetings, refused to answer my questions about the listing and tried insistently to get me to work with them. I feel totally mislead, as will anyone else who gets baited and switched this way. If you see a listing that you want to inquire about, look up the actual listing agent; don't click that button. And DEFINITELY don't give out your contact number.
After 6 months, not one good lead. Average one lead a month in my zip code and one was a lender searching for her client who already has an agent. Another was a college student shopping around for his friends parents, who already have an agent. Another was for a listing that was shown as $100k under the real price and the property wasn't on the market. Misrepresentation by sales rep is the biggest issue, second to the fact that Customer Service has every excuse in the world for any issue you bring up. I was told I own any lead I receive, but in fact it is a shared lead, so by definition I don't feel that means I own it. Very disappointing and a waste of my hard earned money plus the 12 month contract I am locked into or a penalty for cancelling early.
I thought online marketing is the way to go but realtor.com are taking me for a ride. I am getting less 1/4 the lead volume, and the once I am getting are other realtors calling in on their listing or venders trying to sell services.
Additionally they have unethical way of capturing leads as the consumer is thinking that they are reaching out to listing agents and are NOT aware that their information is SOLD to other agents. I am ok if they are open about it on their site and consumer is aware of it.
On top of it they told me that they are keeping the rates the same for poor quality leads and low volume till it start hitting your credit card that you are over paying.
Will update this review as things unfolds.
As a realtor I thought awesome I will sign up for a zip code in my area and get leads... What a mistake. Might of been zip code area but all leads were cold leads and led to nothing. On top of that when year contract was over i started getting a bill from top producer. Apparently I was paying for this all along and was not in my contract and after one year still getting charged. They said I never canceled top producer. How was I to know when I never ordered it. Beware when signing contract of any hidden charges. 4 months later still trying to get charges off my credit card! I will never use this company again as a realtor.
The account reps promise the moon, but it is just a lot of confused consumers in the end. The best part is they require 30 days of leads once you come to the conclusion their leads suck.
If your a mortgage company looking for leads stay far far away from Realtor.com Homes.com
I love everything about the site, except the slow response time. I have fiber optic high speed internet, new computer, and still it processes SOOOOOO slow... I am running microsoft 10 and it doesn't matter what browser I choose. In fact, it is even slow loading on my android phone.
Saw they received mls on a couple before other sites but when you ask to sort out pending doesn't work. StI'll gives you active under contract same as pending.
I have been using Realtor.com for 4 plus years now. I've never experienced such slow system service and it locks up at once everytime I log on to the site (I am on 3 to 4 times per day).
Previously I would give the site 5 but currently they are a 2.
Thank you for the great job on the sale of our home. You were always there to answer our calls. Your marketing strategies were top notch. Thank you very much for negotiating so hard on the home we finally purchased. You stuck by us to the end, you were a true professional. We would highly recommend you to anyone looking for the Best Realtor in the Business to sell or purchase their home! Thanks again for all your efforts, you truly have your clients best interest at heart.
I have never known a realtor to have such an amazing work ethic. Trisha Bush is extremely tuned in to her clients, genuinely focused on helping them with every aspect of buying and selling. I have bought and sold numerous properties but have never known a real estate agent as professional and personable as Trisha. I highly recommend her to anyone buying, selling, renting, or just needing some advice.
We listed our condo with Therese Adams, she also sold our condo. She always kept us up to date on the market and the showings we had. Though the condo was a second home for us, when we were in town, she always made time for us. She was rated one of the best sales people in Manhattan, Kansas and I totally agree with those reviews. She knows the market and the town. She gives you fair and consistent information so you are well informed. She is never pushy, but gives the needed guidance to make the right decisions.
Homes are sold before listings are posted. Site extremely slow, locks up frequently. Automated searches don't work - have been communicating with them 3 months with no fix yet: just apologies and broken promises.
I have been dealing with this company for over month with the same problem. Our real estate company was in the process of getting our listings automatically posted on Realtor.com, but after a month it still hasn't happened. We have an open case that I call every couple days about to get a status update. Every customer support person tells me the same thing, "I'm sorry I don't know why this is taking so long, I will escalate the issue to management", yet nothing ever happens. They will not provide us with contact information for who is working on the case. I'm now realizing after reading these reviews, that this company is a joke and I should not waste my time.
When i signed up with them the account manager gave me a price and 6 month term come to find out they took out more than what was said and tried to have me in a 12 month contract. Just last month they fixed the price with no apology. I then find out account manager is no longer at company. I canceled the contract but they had me pay a $300 fee to cancel. I will not be using them again
Answer: Don't do it! Total scam. They don't allow you to cancel, and don't deliver what they promise. I've wasted $1500 and they want to stick me for another $4500! I signed up for an area with $800k average, but ALL of the leads are for $50 mobile homes. COMPLETE SCAM!
Answer: You can file a claim with the BBB. I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Small claims court is always an option.
Answer: Just be sure you are dealing with a realtor. Do not send any money to anybody at a moneygram account. Just make sure it is a realtor you are working with. Because there are scams out there that ask you to send money pretend to be owner etc. you can always ask for license number and go to trec website and check to see if number is real. Hope that helps.
Answer: I hope that if enough of us post about Realtor.com scamming, defrauding our industry we can stop them, scammed myself, never again, worst customer service I have ever encountered.
