This company preys on realtors with big promises, instead delivers lousy leads and exorbitant fees! Agents need to wise up and band together to put these guys out of business! I wasted $5,000 of my hard earned money with these crooks! Most of my leads were rentals, timeshares or bogus altogether. They promised to make up for the bad ones at the end of my contract... 10 phone calls and dead ends, I gave up. After my contract ended, they used my card to start billing me for another service. When I called to get it stopped, they said I signed up for it, (I absolutely did not) and I had to wait until the contract ended! Agents beware!

Getting nowhere
January 13, 2018

Realtor.com tells me I'm getting leads over 100% than expected. 4 were from real estate agents, 1 was completely fake, All of the rest but 1 I was never able to contact after multiple calls. They say over 100%, I say zero results. They won't let me cancel my contract, just shorten it from 1 year to 9 months which means I have to pay 4 more months for nothing. They offered to give me another zip code for free for a few months but I would have to commit to more time. If they would have let me cancel maybe we could have done business in the future. That will never happen.

I have been with realtor.com for many years. I was also told that bad leads would be replaced with good ones. This went on for years the last time I complained to them that I was getting bogus leads and ask for them to be replaced I was told that they don't do that, but over the year I'd receive enough leads to make up for it. I've also been double-billed several times and it took many months to get my overpayment straightened out. I was also told there was a limited amount of age of the sharing a zip code with me. Potential buyers I had called upon had told me that four or five agents had called them after I had spoken with them they assume the other people were on my team. It's disappointing to find that Nar is realtor.com, same people who are supposed to representing us is also hurting us? Crazy

I just read the Inman News article about Brian Bobik's, past employee of Realtor.com/Move Inc. defrauding Agents. I experienced everything Bobik states about the unethical manner in which Salespersons at Realtor.com/Move Inc promise to Realtors.

It is disheartening, NAR, who owns Realtor.com, states they are not getting involved in an internal employee dispute, but, I feel they should also state they will look into the defrauding and unethical practices of Realtor.com/Move Inc. is doing to NAR's members, The Real Estate Agent. I also, received "fake" leads, "supposed" to have a 6 month contract and they continued to bill my credit card, although I cancelled 2 months in advance of the 6 month contract. I called after the payments kept going to my credit card, I was told they would stop, month after month, I was charged 4 times. I finally filed a dispute, sent my email confirming my 6 month contract with the contractual dates and my credit card company did correct the 6 months.

I thought it was just me, maybe, with the horrible deceptions, but reading about Brian Bobik in Inman News, confirmed it is a overall practice of doing business with unsuspecting, hard working Realtors. It makes me sad.

Realtor.com sold me their "elite" package (Tiger Leads) which cost more than a mortgage. I was ok with that at the time because of the promises of the return, number of QUALIFIED LEADS, etc. However, they sold me a product that actually had technical glitches with front end AND backend software that did not work and they turned the problem around on me. Presented with the problems they failed to make ANY effort to fix it. In fact, they sat on the problem for a few weeks that turned into months where I continually got passed around the company. The problems started on MONTH ONE. I received leads from homeless people, leads asking for burial plots, many leads with fake names and phone numbers and zero results. It was "bait and switch" as the info they had given me on the program was opposite of what I received! They would not refund my money but my bank credited back some of the charges. I still lost quite a bit. If there is a lawsuit, I want to be added.

I also was charged on an unauthorized credit card they previously had on file.

Realtor.Com has been a BIG disappointment to me as well. After giving up on Zillow - constant increases the prices for zip code leads and who knows how many agents are getting the same lead?! I was told by a sales person with Realtor.com, I would get all the leads from MY LISTINGS! Not TRUE. My package apparently was just for leads from a zip code that was over sold, all I get are very low end leads. I call them Triers not Buyers. We as REALTORS are being scammed in the worst way!

All money I made from leads went back into paying for those leads. I got junk leads most of the time and they were not exclusive. The NAR is supposed to be there to help agents, not take advantage of them. We pay very high dues and they should be giving us leads free of charge, not taking all our hard earned money away from us. I will never pay for leads again and do not believe the NAR helps agents any longer but takes advantage of them. By the very fact that they charge for leads says volumes.

BEWARE SCAM
January 12, 2018

Last January for a little over $200 a month I could share ALL of the leads with one other agent for Daphne AL ******* for one year. I was guaranteed at least 4 leads a month. I was encouraged to add all of the small zip codes in the area to receive the "orphan" leads. Basically, 98% of what I received were land less than $10K, rental, rent to own and orphan leads. I couple of months into the program I saw an advertisement for ALL of the Daphne leads over $200K. I called my rep and asked about it he said he would have to get back with me.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK! I would give REALTOR.com a 0 Star rating!

I signed up for a marketing package years ago. Back around 2007. Part of the program was large full color post cards that would go to certain streets within the zip code I purchased. The quality of the post cards was poor. Thin, flimsy not thick at all, they would arrive tattered. Yes, I included my own address so that I would see the product that was going out on my behalf. I paid for the program for several months, don't remember exactly how long; I ended the contract pre-mature. Several of the leads must have been drinking wine at 2:00 a.m. as they did not remember filling out a form. I did in fact eventually get 1 client, which equated to 1 listing and 1 sale from the leads obtained at the time. My cost was in the mid three hundreds per month. The leads were typical leads you've got to work them a long time (typically years). It takes more than 3 or 4 phone calls. The overall package, the ease at which the plat form worked and the quality of the materials was not good enough. I eventually mailed a return receipt requested letter - I got out of my contract. My basis was "deceptive trade practices"... I think its wrong wrong wrong for NAR, Realtor.com or Move to sell leads back to agents. All leads should go to listing broker end of story. Ive committed since to never pay for another lead ever! I also believe that the Realtor.com plat form should be the same for all. I do not believe that agents should have the right to purchase better pages. Realtor.com is a national MLS for the public. It should all be the same and all of the leads should go to all of the listing brokers. This is a money making machine placed on the backs of hard working agents.

Just like all the other reviewers, I too was lied to and got some bum leads. I was told that I would be charged by the month and that there was no contract. Not so, because when I wanted to end it, I was then told that I was in a 6 month contract. I then went up the chain of command with my complaint, however was charged for 2 months in the end. I do not trust Realtor.com any longer.

This is a SCAM!
January 11, 2018

As President of my board, I wanted to help Realtor.com by moving all of my ad dollars out of Zillow into Realtor.com. It was a horrible experience that I'm still trying to unravel. The leads were bogus, most of them for mobile homes which I specifically indicated at the beginning were not useful for me. When I tried to cancel, they said I was in a contract that didn't end for many months. I never signed a contract with Realtor.com. I've been exchanging multiple calls with their "customer service" group which is a total waste of time because nothing ever happens. I canceled last September and they continued to charge my credit card through December. I'm still trying to recover $2000 from them without success. This is an affront to all REALTORs and NAR should get involved immediately to save their reputation.

$#*!ty Leads
January 3, 2018

8 out of 10 leads have been poor from this site. I get leads that already have realtors. Other leads I have received just want to speak only with the listing agent. A few of my leads have been poor numbers and emails that get kicked back even though they claim they "verify" the email. I even had leads come in with different names, but same phone number. Save you money and go with Zillow.com because they have a concierge that will call the lead first and ask if they are working with a realtor, and if not, would they like a realtor. Once that is verified, they send you the lead. Zillow.com will even have the buyer on the line and connect you directly with introduction and all. If you have a limited budget, don't make the same mistake that I have done. So far out of 3 zip codes and 1 year of service, I have only closed 1 sale. Save you money.

Realtor.com scams Real Estate agents. There expensive leads are only trailer homes and timeshares. Their promises are bogus, and they absolutely do not follow their contract. They should be shut down for stealing Real Estate agents money. Their customer service is horrible! They should refund money to all the realtors they have scammed!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE
December 1, 2017

I have inquiry for a house in Bridgeport CT that I have seen in realtor.com, at was impressed when Allah Bey, called me in a Sunday afternoon, but my happiness lasted very little, the day have come to look at the house, the guy came late for more than 35 mins. Then on top of that, he didn't have the code for the lock to open the house, after I travel for an hour, and never hear from him again, he told me he was gonna called me to schedule the next day, he never did, no email, nothing. That was the end of it. I am a first time home buyer and its very sad the way some people makes you feel.
