The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by persistent customer complaints regarding service reliability, delivery issues, and ineffective customer support. Many customers report missed or incomplete deliveries, billing errors, and difficulties in canceling services. While there are occasional mentions of satisfactory product quality, these are overshadowed by widespread dissatisfaction with the company's responsiveness and communication. The recurring themes highlight a lack of accountability and transparency, leading to a general sentiment of frustration and distrust among customers. This suggests a pressing need for the company to enhance its service protocols and customer engagement strategies.

Been a customer from 1980-2019...
Ready Refresh bought Arrowhead Water.
Wow big difference.
Customer Service is the worst I have ever dealt with
THE COMPANY IS So bad I installed new piping for my house and filtration system. Just so I don't have to deal with READY REFRESH. I had not drank tap water since 1975.
Delivery service is a service and you need to treat your customers better.
I feel sorry for the drivers - those ugly uniforms and hats. What a joke.
Never came across such poor customer service. I cancelled my account by e-mail which they acknowledged and they keep delivering if I'm not home to cancel. I have had to close my checking account to prevent them trying to bill me. That is a nightmare in it's self. I have donated those unwanted deliveries to a local summer camp. How long is this going to continue. Ugh.
Absolute worst customer service experienced in 55+ years of business. It is way beyond reasoning that this company is still in business. We've been customers for 10+ years and have no choice but to discontinue business with them due to the constant unavailability of customer service. Doesn't even deserve 1 star but must give to post.
I have been a customer for 4 years. I have decided to end my service because of the customer service and delivery service. Most of the time the delivery service does not deliver or pick up on the first or second day that I have scheduled. Although I call again and again to confirm the delivery my efforts are ineffective. Customer service does not apologize for the inconvenience of waiting four hours for a delivery that did not come. They do not deliver on weekends or after work hours. So if you would like them to pick up your cooler so that you can close your account you may have to take off from work or spend a holiday waiting for them. I have done so many times and they have not showed up.
The water tastes well enough. The plastic bottles are beat up looking and sometimes appear dirty, giving no impression of hygienic concerns or again customer satisfaction.
I feel that I have been forced to maintain my service for 6 months because I can not close the account until the water cooler is picked up. Ad that has not been done successfully despite several vain attempts on my end.
I feel frustrated and mistreated by this company and would warn others away. If there is a smaller water delivery service in your area, support their business, even if it may be a little more costly. Or do as I have done and purchase a filter.
I hate that they bought Diamond Springs, they were wonderful to deal with. Their customer service is awful! It took forever to get our order, because it was supposedly never entered, and the website is a joke!
HORRIBLE! They bought out diamond springs (which were wonderful to work with) and our busy law office has been without water for a week, with deliveries promised every day this week. One of the jugs in the last delivery busted and leaked all over our kitchen, so we were already in short supply BEFORE the delivery delay. Just called to check on the promised delivery today (FRIDAY-was supposed to have regularly scheduled delivery on TUESDAY) since I never received the promised email with an estimated delivery time and was told we would not have delivery until MONDAY. The
"manager" I spoke to was RUDE and unhelpful. As soon I finish typing this I am contacting corporate and the BBB. HORRIBLE
This is the third time that I have gotten "rescheduled". I am done with this company! I can even get my 2nd delivery! 1st I just grey text messages dadi of the delivery after I got the notification stating it was coming on 6/12. Then it wad rescheduled for 6/17... no one showed so I called &was told they're having trouble with the online scheduling, sho she "manually" scheduled my delivery. Now I got a text... see below 1 & 2

2.
We are unable to deliver your ReadyRefresh order as scheduled and have rescheduled it for 06/20/19. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
SO, READY REFRESH IS NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
This by far is the worst company I have ever worked with. Their customer service is a joke as well as their delivery service. The world should not be using plastic anymore anyway but i would never buy my water from them!
I cannot believe that I cannot get into the website to view my bill to pay it.
Do you people really think I should be spending an hour trying to navigate your dysfunctional disconnected.
In order to pay my bill? T
Please advise.
When i call to speak to a rep. I am on hold for an extended amount of time and get disconnected... really?
After billing and delivery problems I finally canceled the service.
Whenever I spoke with employees, whether on the phone or with delivery people, I was impressed that they did whatever they could to fix the problems. However, it appears the web site is very fouled up. Apparently, from what I am told, when you skip a delivery the system puts it back in. It may return to an older database and "replace" your request with a prior order.
All in all I was happy with the service. However until they straighten out the software I'm out of the loop.
This company has really gone off the deep end. Our company has used them for years, and recently everything from their new website to their customer service has been AWFUL.
Their website doesn't work and deliveries have gotten skipped. I call and after huge wait times, I get people that are CLUELESS. Saying they've fixed things and haven't. Then hung up on me when I kindly asked to speak to a manager. I'm getting ready to find a new company...
This company has gotten too big for its britches. They want everyone to pay online, they don't want to send bills in the mail, they never have the delivery day correct. Today I had asked for "skip a delivery" online and they delivered water. They cannot pick it back up for several days. I finally canceled. I am so tired of all this online junk that never works, but they sure take your money, overcharge, charge a delivery fee, etc. Water has gone up considerably more than it should and people who work in management make a lot of money. We have canceled and will go back to just buying water at the store. Nestle/ReadyRefresh does not care about you as a customer.
Just told Ready Refresh to come and get the water cooler and 2 bottles of water. They purchased Diamond Springs out of Charlotte, NC and promptly raised the prices on water bottles. Started a $6.00 per bottle deposit and now a $8.95 delivery charge. Bull crap! Been with Diamond Springs and their predessor for 22 years. After 4 tries on the phone over a weeks time, on hold for 18 minutes this last time and listening to that God Awful can music and replays of "go to our website" crap, I finally reached a human voice who could have cared less about my complaints. Apparently longevity means nothing to this Corporation. I have read the reviews here and I am not about to give these greedy bastards the chance to overcharge us and/or give sorry customer service. Cut them off at the knees right now today, June 6,2019, they are picking up their cooler on Tuesday, June 11,2019. If they don't well, it's mine I guess. I don't believe in this calling over and over for them to do what they say they are going to do. Screw them.
We were so Happy with Diamond Springs Water AND Delivery! Nestle Just Another BIG CORPORATION Caring ONLY About Getting PAID.! Terrible Customer Service Acting like They can't be Replaced... Well Today We Replaced Them! On Vacation... Asked for Delivery Delay... wasn't called back In Fact Automated Message Said "they don't respond back!" WHAT! BOTH Cars in driveway... No Empties on Porch... Home Obviously Closed Up AND DRIVER STILL LEFT 5 BOTTLES. Our Delivery Guy with DS's ALWAYS CALLED THE DAY BEFORE... NESTLE AKA READYREFRESH could Care LESS About Customer Satisfaction! Just Give Us Your $$$
Multiple leaking coolers; the replacement started smoking and leaking as soon as the technician installed it; the standard call in message says they are experiencing unusual call volume and that your wait time may be as much as 25 minutes
I'm not sure how they stay in business. As a business owner I would be mortified if I treated someone like I've been treated. Each time I do not rec. A delivery I can and all they say is they have an issue on the back side. I understand computer glitches but I don't understand why they don't fix it. And if it's happening to me, it must be happening to others. Talking to a supervisor doesn't help. Just empty words. How hard is it to deliver water?
Ready Refresh is literally the most overpriced service out there. Their water bottles have a worthless seal. They advertise they're cheap but they raise the price each month until its 9 dollars a bottle, plus delivery fees. I have been paying 50 - 70 dollars a month for water, and I'm a single guy living alone.
The water machine started leaking and damaged my floor. I've been on hold for an hour so far just trying to ask them if they can fix it. I opened a support ticket on their website (3 of them) and no responses.
To add insult to injury, their hold music is absolute torture. Its designed to make people hang up as quickly as possible. If I have to hear the same 4 notes one more time I'm going to loose my mind.
Don't buy anything from this company unless you have a really good lawyer on retainer. Because their faulty machines will destroy your house and they won't even be available to talk to.
It has to happened twice not getting my water delivered when I changed the date.the first time they gave me a free bottle. The 2nd time they said sorry and didn't do anything.
One star is one star too many. Ready Refresh raised their delivery fee from $2.95 to $8.95. You would think that with such a price hike, the delivery service would be reliable. Delivery is NEVER on the day that is promised - always a day late at least. I also request that the delivery person ring my bell rather than just drop off since I am home during the delivery window and they NEVER DO. TODAY was the worst offense of all. At 6pm today, I still had not received my delivery. I left my apartment to walk my dog and discovered that my 3 5-gallon water bottles were left in the vestibule in the lobby! My apartment number was written on them in MARKER (the top of the bottle that is supposed to remain sanitary and chemical-free).
My current phone number is on file, yet I did not receive a phone call to even notify me that the water had been delivered - not that it should have been left in the lobby. How am I supposed to carry 3 5-gallon bottles of water up to my apartment? Is this not why we pay for delivery service?
I called ReadyRefresh and the person was politely unsympathetic. For someone in customer service he was quite cavalier about the lack of adequate service and asked me if I had someone that could help me carry the bottles. When I told him no, he said he could have someone return on Monday.
I promptly canceled my service and asked for a refund for today's delivery. He canceled my service -- no attempt to make amends or salvage the business and told me that he would have to issue a ticket for my refund and it would be up for review since the office was closed.
So disappointing. Their service has declined considerably since Nestle bought the company. The best thing I can do, I guess is discontinue my service because I don't get the sense that ReadyRefresh really cares about improving the service or hiring employees that actually do their job.
Answer: I believe it's a lack of communication between them and the delivery guys. I had the same issue and cancelled my account. Watch out for your invoices too.
Answer: Beatriz S. Please tell us as an insider what kinds of policies ready refresh has and why customers are treated so poorly. You can help make the world a better place starting with getting these types of companies to change their awful practices and deceptions.
Answer: Customer service is terrible. I told them I was cancelling my service and they said OK. They did not care why, they had ZERO interest in resolving a small problem, instead they transferred me right over to cancellation department which must be a busy place to work!
Answer: Call them and ask to speak to a supervisor right away.
