The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by persistent customer complaints regarding service reliability, delivery issues, and ineffective customer support. Many customers report missed or incomplete deliveries, billing errors, and difficulties in canceling services. While there are occasional mentions of satisfactory product quality, these are overshadowed by widespread dissatisfaction with the company's responsiveness and communication. The recurring themes highlight a lack of accountability and transparency, leading to a general sentiment of frustration and distrust among customers. This suggests a pressing need for the company to enhance its service protocols and customer engagement strategies.

I have received no response when I requested to cancel... calling customer service there is a charge just to SPEAK to someone? Unbelievable. I will have to cancel my credit card to get out of the contract because no one will get back to me.
Do NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. They lie and could care less about Customer service or the businesses they service. Leaving a clinic without water while they keep pushing back the date of delivery time after time. Delivery Monday, Monday night email delivery changed to Tuesday now it's changed to Wednesday... This I'm sure will keep getting pushed back just like our last delivery that was pushed out 4 times. Phone calls do no good no matter who you speak to. All you are told is *no promised*... Had to purchase water at the store just to have water in the clinic for patients. DM them? That's a joke, you get the same run around and no compensation for the NO SERVICE you receive. Imagine however if you paid your bill the way they don't deliver water?. I want a regional manager to answer my questions. You are better off with WB MASON or buying your own machine and water from a wholesale club. This company is joke! They would let Patients in a medical clinic go without being able to hydrate!
I received a notice from a collections company today letting me know I had an outstanding balance. I pay by order, so how I have this is a mystery. I call Ready and they can't tell me why I haven't gotten invoices, or they haven't called/left a message? Then have the gall to tell me to pay the collections company and come back to place a new order. Avoid these folks, terrible business.
I scheduled to have the water cooler and 6 gallons pick up for a second time. The first time I got a text that they were going to be there between a window of time they didn't show up within that time and texted me that they did. I called and schedule for the pick up again for June 11. I received a text around 7 am that they will pick up between 8:39 and 12:39 the items were outside before by 7:35am. They didn't show up they sent me a confirmation that the pick up was done. I called customer service again in their system the driver put picked up one gallon. I had 6 gallons all 6 of them are still behind the door. At this point if they are thrown away I don't care. I canceled my service with Ready Refresh because I order a minimum of 3 gallons of which I don't need, you charge $79 to clean the cooler and it will cost another $50.00 for them to pick it up. I went to Sparkletts, it will only cost $23.00 a month compare to $35.00 in addition, there's no minimum to order. Ready Refresh service is horrible and it cost too much.
I have been a customer for at least 5 years. Service in all ways has gone downhill since then. It is now at an all-time low. There is no way to see what i am being billed for. Customer care reps are very nice, but nothing they "change" ever happens. Incredibly frustrating! My last delivery was suddenly "rescheduled" to the current day, which meant that i could not cancel. I was not scheduled to get a delivery in this month. I have way too much water now, and the bill is through the roof. No one answering on CS line...
Our first water dispenser had no hot water, then our replacement was unbelievably loud, then our last replacement leaked about 2 gallons of water on my hardwood floors. When we called customer service we were transfered seven times!
The incompetence of this company is off the charts!
Now we are waiting for a full refund for six five gallon bottles.
Stay away from this incompetent company!
I just bought a machine at Home Depot and three water bottles, believe me this is way easier!
I have had nothing but delivery problems with this company. They have rescheduled me several times (even days in a row) with no communication leaving me with no water. They raise there prices consistently and now I am paying almost double what I started at. I wish I would have read the numerous terrible reviews about this company before I started. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!
I had a water delivery contract with Another company and this company came in and took over They started leaving ridiculous amounts of bottles of water at my house. So I told them I would no longer meet their services. They will not take no for an answer they are continuing to deliver water and bill for an address where I no longer reside and no matter how many times I tell them that I fired them they continued to call email and bill me. They are CRIMINALS
I started with this company in February 2021! All was good till May 12 blocked my front door wrong order! Order instructions side door! Customer service supervisor took care of it! Same thin againg 6-4 21 left at front door called customer service never called me back as I was told! We cant move the water do to health issues I was so upset! The water still there and can stay there I done with this inconsiderate company! They just refunded for May I did not order!
Can I give them 0.25 stars?
1. EVERY delivery is delayed--since we started the subscription. I'm starting to think they use horse-drawn carts to deliver and hire only retired WalMart greeters as delivery people.
2. We are never notified that the delivery will be delayed. There is frequently no e-mail and no notice for several days. We just wait and then have to go through the trouble of logging-in to see their little message that the delivery has been rescheduled.
3. Eventually, the deliveries come--after we've bought extra water elsewhere to fill in the gap. Two times, they left all our water bottles outside on the street rather than bringing them up to the apartment as agreed upon, presumably so that the neighborhood dogs could urinate on them. Or, perhaps they were feeling charitable enough to donate our water to the passers-by on the street. At least once, they left the bottles in the rain. At least the dog pee had been washed off so it was not quite as unpleasant to carry several giant 5-gallon bottles up myself.
4. Customer service resolves nothing--even when we call to say the delivery did not come. Usually, it's "Thank you for telling us; we value your input and we want to improve. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it." Other times, it's "Yes sir! We completely understand your displeasure! That was very frustrating, I'm sure. We'll take care of that right away!" Of course, NOTHING gets taken care of. The delivery still doesn't come, and the next delivery is still late--as usual. I'm not sure which I dislike most--being told the truth or being lied to. I get that the customer service people are just relaying messages; it's not their fault--they need to eat. But clearly, they have no power to do anything but be a voice to make you think the company cares and is trying to resolve an issue. "Mm-hmm! Oh yes! That's 100% right! I agree with you! How terrible of us to be so remiss! We'll take care of this immediately!"
5. When the dispenser cleaning is scheduled (which you must pay for), they are quite prompt--early service with a smile. That never gets delayed because they charge extra for it. But for regular everyday service? There is no sense of urgency or even the slightest effort to do proper customer care. I think I've wasted a good ten hours of my life calling and waiting for customer service, buying extra water and trying to get resolution. I could have bought a dolly and delivered my own water for the time it has taken.
I just started getting service in October of 2020. It was okay at first (1st) unti I went to look at my invoice it was $53.40 due May 16,2021 I'm like to myself how? So I called she said you didn't pay in March I said that's a lie I told her I only order water when I need it. I told her the last time I brought water was in March I asked what happened to my creamers I ordered back in March I didn't receive it because the driver said their should be a refund. Which I never received & Another guy told me I was paying them to automatically taking the money off my credit card I told him that's a lie then he says just pay $33.40 I said no hell! I know longer need your services. ReadyRefresh never show up on time when asked.
I have been placing orders for the company I work for since 2002. And until it became ReadyRefresh, delivery service was relatively satisfactory. We are a small company in the construction industry and for the past 4 years, our monthly usage is over $3500 so think we are appreciated or at least receive the correct deliveries? Hell no, too much to ask!. The problem with most business is that there is a change in ownership and all goes to hell in a hen basket.
Customer Service reps are usually very understanding & helpful if you speak to someone Stateside and not one of their off shore contractors. But no matter how well intended, if deliveries are constantly botched, all the Customer Service in the world can't put humpty-dumpty together again. Now the excuse you get is 'problems with deliveries due COVID-19'. Really I asked? The Delivery problems for us started way before March, 2020 in NYC.
Problem is there aren't many other water delivery companies with their capacity to service the majority of commercial clients and they know it.

Bought ReadyRefresh through sales at Costco last year. They offered 4 bottles for the price of 3 discount. I thought it was for all deliveries, but turns out the discount only applies for the first shipment. Very expensive price for purified water. In addition to that, they charge about $6 per delivery. Might as well just pick up a bottle at lowes, safeway, etc, or install a water purifying system, saving yourself from the trouble of this crap.
Read your contract carefully. Although the sales promised completely free dispenser, at cancellation, don't be surprised if they charge $50 "recondition fee" for the water dispenser rental. Not a good company to do business with. Highly suggest everyone to stay away from it.
FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD
I would give it 0 star if possible. Never received my delivery but kept getting charged by them ($1000+ bills). I called, emails, sent letters, filed BBB complaints, but they never acknowledged. Illegally charged my credit cards 10+ times. I tried to let my attorney send a letter to them, but they refuse to provide an address for the attorney letter.
Disgusting service. A complete fraud
They charge $50 cancellation fee, no notice about that, unbelievable and wrong. They keep raising prices and it's a fortune. Used a local guy instead
I've been a customer for over 5 years, issues started a couple years ago when I recommended the company to multiple neighbors and now they've all added same company for water deliveries so I called, gave them the neighbors I've referred and two years later still nothing taken off or any sort of credits. GREEDY company with hoodlum delivery drivers that have attitudes just by asking why deliveries are so late. Costco has outstanding delivery and customer service. Ready Refresh has what sounds like New Yorkers with attitude problems which just mix with us southerners. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, DISGUSTING COMPANY!
I had my service for almost a year and they increased the the price almost every month, Customer services does not work with you as they say "The price is that price". Then make sure you read the Terms and Conditions as they will hit you with a $50 restocking fee for the water dispenser. I wont recommend this to anyone. If you don't get water a month they charge $5 for the rental fee, when it was supposed to be free
Last delivery was the wrong brand, driver unable to remedy. Today's delivery was even worse. Received a Ready Refresh text message showing their delivery just minutes ago. I was standing in my driveway with no delivery truck in sight. Called Nestle within 3 minutes of text, was bounced around 30 minutes between staff, they said they would call back. No call back and driver never showed. Now we're left without our delivery and likely face another credit card fight. They have become impossible to do business with.
This company waits until the afternoon of the day of your scheduled delivery to inform it will be late and then repeat that for days. My work waited almost 10 days for our delivery last time and every other time it's always at least 3 - 5 days off. This delivery they actually gave us a sealed 5 gallon bottle that was empty. How does one not notice picking up an empty 5 gallon water jug? They are awful, if I could I wouldn't even give 1 star.
I only got this because I was told by the sales rep that they would bring the bottles upstairs to my 3rd floor apartment, which they only did for the first 2 months. I cancelled it after he didn't bring it up on the third month, and they continually charged me for months afterwards. Horrible experience.
Answer: I believe it's a lack of communication between them and the delivery guys. I had the same issue and cancelled my account. Watch out for your invoices too.
Answer: Beatriz S. Please tell us as an insider what kinds of policies ready refresh has and why customers are treated so poorly. You can help make the world a better place starting with getting these types of companies to change their awful practices and deceptions.
Answer: Customer service is terrible. I told them I was cancelling my service and they said OK. They did not care why, they had ZERO interest in resolving a small problem, instead they transferred me right over to cancellation department which must be a busy place to work!
Answer: Call them and ask to speak to a supervisor right away.
