I've had to replace the zippers on two pairs of jeans. Most of the blouses have stitching that has unraveled, resulting in a hole. There isn't a Rainbow in my city so I usually order online. So I always go up a size. I bought a really cute jumpsuit that I only got to wear twice because it started to unravel from the center torso, down to the crotch. So in closing, this store is good for a quick fix outfit. Just don't expect to get any longevity out of it (unless you know a good tailor or you can DIY).
I ordered some merchandise for the first time from Rainbow. I read the return policy to make sure I could return the items if they didn't fit. I read that you could return items to store if you use a credit card. With this being said, I used my PayPal credit card to purchase the items. After receiving the items, I realized that the clothes are cheap and run very small. I also realized that the store in my area had closed down. I'm sure it's because of the scamming of the company and the poor quality and service they offer. I decided to take the items out of town with me to return to another Rainbow, and I was told that I couldn't get a refund because I used my PayPal credit card. Although Rainbow's policy states that you can get a refund if you use a credit card, I was denied a refund and told that I had to do an exchange. I will never shop at Rainbow again!
I love this store never shopped here before but i will shop again they have reasonable price if you on a buget please know your size if you shopping online i give them five stars thank you rainbow!
I have purchased things from this company for years but after my last encounter I will NOT be buying from them again. I purchased an order and the shipping was excellent. I purchased about 10 items but 3-4 were too big. So I go to return these items with receipt and items were in Rainbow bag from shipping. The first issue was no one greeted myself or other customers entering. It was hard to tell who was working and who was customers. So after I started unloading items someone finally walks up. The first issue was that even though there was a clothing tag on one item the price was on outer bag so I was told no refund could be given on item. I was like OK cool. After she looked at my receipt she said oh you purchased a lot i'll take the one without the price and use the SKU on the receipt. So we get all the way through the process and she says OK where's the card used then looks on the receipt and says oh sorry I can't take it back you paid with paypal. So I told her yea but it was taken from a card attached to that account. She was like sorry next time use a credit card not paypal. I replied there will not be a next time but thank you anyway. Horrible customer service. This should be printed on the site. Receipt clearly advises of merchandise credit for Paypal accounts
I purchased several items online from them. They arrived exactly when they were supposed to. Great start! Of all the items I purchased (approximately 8 in all) a jumpsuit I ordered was a little big on me, so I simply reordered a smaller size because Rainbow does allow online items to be returned to their stores for exhange or refund, depending on how long it takes you to return it. I received the smaller size and it was perfect. I took the other one back to their store, located at 2701 S. W. College rd, Ocala Florida, store #*******. I had my receipt/ packing slip and the tag that was attached to the jumpsuit. I walked up to the counter and told the sales girl that I needed to return the item. I handed her everything I had and she proceeded to type away on her computer, never once making eye contact, or even speaking. After a few minutes she requested my credit card, so she could refund my money to the card, which by the way can take days to credit back to the card. I told her at that point that I simply wanted to pick out something else in exchange. She replied to me, sarcastically, and I quote, "Honey, you said you were returning the item, not exchanging it". Really!?! First of all, I'm NOT her "Honey", second, perhaps if she would have ASKED me what I wanted to do in the first place, instead of assuming what I, the CUSTOMER, wanted, there wouldn't have been any confusion at all. This girl and her coworker were very rude and unfriendly to both my mother and I who, by the way, spent more than what my return was worth in the first place. Overall my experience wasn't horrible. I was happy with my items. I was not happy with the in-store customer service. Very unprofessional, uncomfortable and aggravating experience!
Just from reading all of these reviews about horrible customer service, they have already lost my business! What kind of business allows their sales associates to be so rude to the customers! Also, from what I have read, it isn't just one store either! Pretty much all of them! No thanks, I'll pass!
I bought the vacuum and agreed to the $2900 price. A month later I find out the company took out a $4000 loan under my name for the product. I did not consent to the $4000 loan for a vacuum. The company did not disclose that information. When I stated that i did not consent to the $4000 price and that they can take their machine back they stated they will not and that they will be putting it on my credit. Its a scam. Dont waste your money. You can get the whole system online for less than $1000.
The company has the best possible way of losing customers. The worst business practice. Why do they need to check ID's? Its not a liquor store and most people who shop there are under 18 and they would like to go shopping with friends their age. Also, the employeees are just soo rude omg. Please hire new people on Grant St. In Buffalo, NY otherwise people will just stop shopping there. Other than that, there are nice clothes for a nice price.
I went to rainbow on Springfield plaza, Springfield MA store #252. Never experienced such rude employees! All I asked for was to try on a couple things and the employee looked like she wanted to kill me for asking. I left the items and just walked out... need to fix the attitude on your employees because last time i checked its part of their job to let you try things on in the fitting room. Never will I ever go to another rainbow store as this is not the only one where I experienced such rudeness! Horrible Horrible customer service!
I returned 6 items I ordered as the fit was too small. Returned them the same day I received them, Nov. 25,2016. Called today, December 5,2016. I was told they just received the package today. 10 days later. Customer rep was so incredibly rude. Told me to just wait and don't be "impatient " and HUNG UP ON ME. I will NEVER buy from them again.
They are so rude and never know what they are talking about instant attitude and when they try to appologize they have an instant attitude still! Terrible company

This store is awful. I had never been there before but my friend suggested it so I went last night and I got my friend something for her bachelorette party but their sizing runs super small so I went back today to exchange it for anther size and they refused to take it! Seriously.?! I was just there last night and it was the same lady working the register. She told me you can't return or exchange bras, but how was I supposed to know that?! NO ONE told me that and the receipt doesn't say a freaking thing about it. I explained to her that I never even put it on because it was for a friend, but she refused. So now I'm out of my money and I can't even give it to my friend! Never returning here again!
Very unprofessional customer service. I placed an order a week and a half ago never got the confirmation email had to call 3 times to get my order shipped and they were rude mean and nasty I will never buy or order anything from Rainbow again I was so excited for a plus size store that's a horrible but very disappointed on how I was treated because I am not those people who are rude and mean to the customer service people they were rude to me.
Was a regular customer buying every week at the same store, went to buy a pair of shoes $13.99, after wearing them 1 time shoes broked - back to the store sales agent rude from ghetto asked me for the shoe box - told her "i dont make collection of shoe box but take shoe box from the new one that u gonna give me in exchange- she refused - upset i left store with new shoes, left old shoes, receipt, and forgot my wallet - at nite at my house I was arrested, spent 1 nite in jail, lost my job - as of today that story cost me around $ 10 000,00 in laywers, mugshots removal, lost of job... since more than 1 year I am having nitemares everynite getting arrested.
Rainbow is my favorite store. The clothes are according to my taste at a reasonable price at convenient locations. You can buy everything from panties, brass, pijamas, to a business outfit with purse and accessories? I even have my niece from Germany hooked on the Rainbow stores. When she visits, she always wants to go to rainbow every single day. I am a loyal shopper at Rainbow. I shop for my entire family Once a month at rainbow. I have been a loyal customer for 20 years in Memphis TN, and will continue to shop there once a month. My last visit wasn't what I am used to. I went for a return. I had my bag in my hand. I had just stepped in the door, where the sales associate approached me in a degrading way with her hand out waving with her fingers to hand over my rainbow bag since it needs to be with her while I look for an exchange. She was very rude and demanding. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to return the item until I found something else. She spoke real loud and as I stated earlier, she had her hand out. I had my son take it to my car, until I was ready for the return or exchange. As I waited in line, I saw a few other people with rainbow bags shopping. One customer stood in line with her rainbow bag and also with new items, which means she was shopping while in possession of her bag with pending return. Obviously she was a friend of the sales associate, as I observed them laughing and talking about personal affairs. When I asked her why her friend wasn't asked for the bag, she got loud and said it is policy and she will ask everybody for their bags because it is policy. Then she was talking to another friend that was in the store very loud about me asking about this matter.
Would not return my item that I bought for my aunt funeral because they said the tag was worn the dress was black but they changed the dress code to white at the last minute. Carletta was not understanding but rude been shopping here for years.
I ordered 4 items of clothing 1 size up then I normally wear and it all fit. Shipped in a resonable amount of time and very pleased with the product. Keep in mind you get what you pay for so don't be shocked meteral is thin and I wear a cammy under my tops, the leggings are equal to others. I was pleased and will order from them again. I do not know how well they handle problems, I did not have any. Recommend!
