Horrible

My kids spent their hard earned money on their order and got a shirt that was too small and then a dress that zipper was defective. When I called customer service the lady was rude and refused to let me talk to a manager saying there wasn't one. Then she tried to hang up on me while I was talking. I will never order from them again.

Love this store

I have recently discovered this web site threw the internet and read the reviews on sitejabber. I was a little leary because of what i read, but in reading the reviews i found out that the web site is a web site for an actual store. I thought that the cloths on the site were real cute, so i decided to go to the store and see what the quality of the clothing was.
I ended up finding 3 different stores with in 40 mins of my house. I went to all 3. Each had some of what i seen on the web site, but none had all of what was on the web site. I found many things that I liked and found the quality to be very good and made with really good fabric. I picked out the things that I loved and tried them on in their dressing room. The dressing room did need to be swept up, but nothing to major. I found the sales people to be very nice and helpful when I asked questions.
I bought a few items to take home, I have worn them and have had no issues with them.
I then went backed to their web site and ordered a few things that I did not find in their stores. My order shipped really fast and arrived quickly. Again nice quality!
Love this store. I will definitely shop here again.

Buyer beware!

Rainbow has some really cute clothes, but dont expect to wear more than once. I bought a cute tank dress for a summer dinner, halfway through discovered there was a huge hole in the side, bought an adorable gauze jumpsuit for a party, seam ripped in thighs, causing huge hole in crotch. Listen, I know Rainbow clothes so I always buy a size up, but this is ridiculous. I love a great deal, but Im not saving anything if I need to buy 2 just to go out. Im done giving them my money, until they can improve the quality.

I was waiting to check out and the girl working the cash register was walking to the register while looking at her phone, after my transaction she put my items in the bag and that was it didn't hand it to me, didn't say thank you or come again. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
ALSO... The dressing room had dust everywhere.
Now the other two sales associates where courteous and polite.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

MY MOM NEED GO TO THE RESTROOM FOR EMERGENCY BUT THEY SAY THEY DO NOT HAVE THE RESTROOM HERE WHILE THE RESTROOM IN FRONT OF US. JUST THEY DO NOT WANT US TO USE IT. I HOPE ONE DAY, SOME ONE WILL PEE OR POOP ON THIER STORE LET THEY CLEAN IT. ( Local is next to Asian market - Pleasantville - New jersey)

Return policy

I was visiting family 3 hours away and was never informed of the return policy. Most companies will state their policy during the purchase or circle it if it's on the receipt. This store did neither nor was it posted up by the registers. I get back to my home town and need to do a return and was told that in order to get my money back I have to go back to the original store 3 hours away... I WAS LIVID... even after calling the head office, I was told sorry you have to go back to the original store. I had my receipt and it was bought with my card.
So do not buy items for family out of town because you will be screwed and the merchandise will fall apart.

This company is terrible. They dont deliver the products. I have waited over a month. They keep saying its because of high valume. I have ow asked for my money back.
As far as Im concerned if they take your money and dont deliver its theft.
Dont order from this company.

Check return policy

I have never dealt with a store that didn't give you a store credit for the amount you paid. I understand it was after 30 days and couldn't get my money back... no problem, store credit is fine.
But... there is no where listed on return policy (that I could see) that tells you that if an item you want to return is on sale, you only get credit for the sale price not what you paid even if you have your receipt. They would end up keeping your money because the item is now on sale. If I paid $40.00 for an item and returned it with my receipt and said item is now marked down to $15.00 You only get $15 credit and they keep $25. I think that's absurd.
No more Rainbow for me.
So please ask about return policy, even though I did when I walked in the store and nothing was mentioned about not getting what you paid if item is on sale. I'm a 63 year old retiree and don't have extra money to give them. The nerve!

I have over $178 their cart right now, but after reading these reviews, I will not give them a dime. Im deleting my cart and will never shop with them. One thing is I understand you get what you pay for, but theres no excuse for such horrible costumer service. Two of my coworkers told me about this store, I promise you I will get them to change their minds about shopping there too. Lets help spread the word!

Shop somewhere else

I ordered from Rainbow shops for the first time. I`ve looked at alot of places for Pink or Mauve tops. Rainbow Shops has quite a few tops in those colors. So I ordered 2 of them. 1 is kinda a Mauve color, the other 1 is a Peachy Pink color. A little more on the peachy side than the mauve color. So I`m back to square one looking for Pink/Mauve Tops.

I ordered a under garment sets from their website as their store doesn't have very much to look at in terms of selection when it comes to intimates. I'd had decent clothes from them before so I wasn't too worried when I ordered. As a plus size gal, I wear a 42 D sized bra, and 3 out of the 4 bras I purchased were closer to a 32 D - They didn't come anywhere CLOSE to fitting around me, and every other bra I've bought every where else fit just fine. I called to see if I could exchange it but they refused very rudely, saying I should have been sure of my size [I was!] before ordering. The panties are also VERY small and very poorly sewn together. A total waste of 50.00 if you ask me. Won't shop here again.

Sometime ago I wanted to order an item online through their online store, but I was not made aware of the fact that they discontinued international sales. I had to call them to find out. Even PayPal refused to accept my Canadian mailing address due to rainbows change. As of today all shoppers will avoid rainbow as a whole this includes online shopping and the brick and mortar stores.

Terrible service

I purchased what I thought was a shirt only two days ago for a date. I took the tags off the day of my date while I was getting ready and realized it was a romper. Of course I didn't even wear as I don't look good in them so I brought it back to get it returned and was told the tags had to be on. That was the first thing. I called to ask if the tags really had to be on the clothing and the manager said that I could get in store credit but that would be all since they were no longer attached to the shirt. But when I came to first return it I was never offered the in store credit either. I will never shop here again. Terrible return policy and the staff acted like I was an inconvience to them. Definitely not worth shopping here

I went into a store located in Dearborn, Michigan, on Mercury Drive and boy I should have kept going. I was in the store at about 4:30. Found several thjngs that I wanted to try on at about 4:45. I went to the front desk to ask if I could go into a dressing room and they told me that they were all closed. So I asked were they all broken or something and the employee told me "No, we just close them early so we can be out of here at 6:00" So you can tell this is a Sunday evening. This was extremely unacceptable. I then asked her for her manager and she said of couse "I am the manager!" So I politely left the store. 2 days later I called the corporate store and they apologized, however me being inconvenienced and spoken rudly to was only worth a $10.00 Rainbow Gift Card. NEVER EVER WILL I BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. I'm not using the gift card nor will I give it to someone else. I refuse to let someone else get treated like I have.

I will never order from Rainbows ever again. I did 2 day shipping to have a dress for Saturday night and the dress gets here on time but instead of the size I ordered it seems like the dress is a xl. And for a plus size girl that is never ok. So I call and ask about the return policy and my dress was only 7.19 and I was told you don't get shipping back and they charge 6.95 in order to use their label. I will never order from them again.

My disabled sister became sick in the store, I asked for a bottle of water they had clearly a new bottle of water on the counter they told me no but I can go for stores down to buy one I explained it was an emergency by that point she was passing out on the bench they still didn't help me I wouldn't bought the water came back. The little cashier started arguing with me over the transaction stating " I am a grown man, I own my own house I own my own car I am a grown man". If I wasn't already so frustrated it would've been funny, or even cute that little guy kept saying that he owns his everything. The entire situation like to store on St. Clair in Cleveland Ohio just silly and ridiculous!

I found something else in my closet so, I tried to return the dress and I was made a aware of there stupid policy of if the tags are removed your S. O.
